Enough with the over produced flashing lights and dubbed in background music. The show and the talent are popular for the TALENT. Highlight that! Producers have lost sight of the audience and what draws viewers. We like good, quality SINGING. The over-production, such as with the X Factor is killing the quality and value of Idol.

I was really disappointed with the show tonight. I didn’t see anything that really blew me away but there were some ok performances …I voted for Phil Phillips, Colton Dixon and Creighton. Really disappointed in Eben. Heejun was good but just felt kinda disconnected for some reason. Top five for me wiere
Phil, Colton, Creighton, Aaron, and Heejun. Adam can sing but I just don’t like him for some reason. Loved Reed in the earlier rounds but not tonight.

Horribly odd song for eben…that was the cause of his off night. would like to get a chance to hear him sing a song better suited…he’s got a good pure voice. nobody does Adele justice except Adele.

The closest thing they had to an Adele type singer, was Lauren Gray — and they threw her to the dogs.
The next closest thing is Elise Testone – and they haven’t given her near the love and cameo’s some of the other girls have gotten – and she doesn’t have the YouTube/Twitter play that some others are building —
so she is at long-odds —– and will have to actually sing her way through to get anywhere.

While we know that more than 5 of the boys must go —-
These 5 are the most likely eliminations, and will most likely not be saved> I thought Eben would be saved if he didn’t make the cut — until I seen that Jermaine will likely be voted-in, or pull that save spot if needed.
Chances of a save if cut??
Adam Brock- No chance
Eben Franckewitz – very low chance
Jeremy Rosado – sorry, no, maybe try next year
Aaron Marcellus – No chance
DeAndre Brackensick – 2nd try, maybe you can try a 3rd time – no save, sorry

okay…philip phillips (sp?)…Dave Matthews was mentioned but what about Lindsey Buckingham…seriously…In the Air Tonight.rh..was in my opinion…Fannnnnnn-tastic…doesn’t get better than a Lindsey/Dave cross…wow…to imagine if they ever really collaborated..would be magical. In the meantime…we can listen to Philip’s rendition of the one and only Mr. Collins and dream of him being joined by Mr. Matthews and Mr. Buckingham…now that would be one hell of a concert!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody stop let’s get behind the Ga boy Phillip Phillips. Think he is very talented and has much potential for growth. Amazing at the Savannah audition.
