It’s a wet time in Atlanta radio.

Bruno Mars spent seven weeks on top of Atlanta radio with his “Twilight” soundtrack song “Let it Rain.”

Adele has supplanted it with another rain-themed song “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Adele, with 221 spins, has support from five stations: B98.5 (28), Star (68), Q100 (92) and Dave FM (30). Wild 105.7 has just started playing it with three spins.

“It Will Rain” has fallen at 214 spins in the last week and is on a downward trajectory.

It’s in top rotation on Star 94 (67) and Q100 (93) but bumped down to mid-rotation (54) on Wild.

On Sunday, the pair will also be battling in several top Grammy categories (including album of the year) but expect Adele to triumph.

Adele is a fantastic singer. She reminds me of the “torch” singers you’d find in those smokey old dives in the 20s and 30s.
