Kim Kardashian coming back to Atlanta to shoot multi-episode arc on Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’

Loading ...I’ve tried ardently in the past to make this blog a Kim Kardashian-free zone.
Up to this point, I’ve been fairly successful.
But promises are made to be broken. This item is about (ulp!) Kim Kardashian. (Feel free to click away if this offends you.)
A few months ago, she came here to shoot a role in Tyler Perry’s “The Marriage Counselor,” an event that was covered by my colleague Jennifer Brett in Buzz.
Kardashian will be returning to metro Atlanta (more specifically, Peachtree City) to shoot a multi-episode role on Lifetime’s fourth season of “Drop Dead Diva.” The dramedy begins production in February for airing in the summer.
Though ratings dipped a bit last season, averaging 2.3 million viewers, “Drop Dead Diva” remains a very strong performer for the network.
According to a press release, Kardashian will play Nikki, Fred’s (Ben Feldman) new love interest who partners with his ex Stacy (April Bowlby) in a new business venture.
“I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion,” said creator Josh Berman in a press release. “This series is all about reinvention and I’m so excited to see Kim ‘reinvented’ in the world of Drop Dead Diva.”
The show has built a reputation as a guest-star magnet, including many other folks who draw plenty of haters such as Kathy Griffin, Rosie O’Donnell and Liza Minnelli. Kardashian certainly falls in that category.

Kim is vapid, and has no talent, wit, or….merit to be a notable personage. And unless one is into absurdly stout rumps, she’s not even attractive per se—-chisel off a layer of make-up or two…or three. Some reality television is interesting…particularly when there is a human psychological test…or one can see how a sector of life functions; but the “celeb-u-tard” phenomenon is most assuredly the downside: Nothing people doing nothing, other than celebrating how significant their nothingness is alledged to be. Kim and her sisters are BO-RRRRRING.

If the show is still around, Kim Kardashian is going to be a catagory on Jeopardy, a question in an American history textbook and one of topics of discussion in the 22nd century. That generation will probably ask themselves what was all the hype about reality tv shows.
