Speaking of Chaz and DWTS, which I didn’t watch, saw some pictures of him without a shirt on and I have to say there is something wrong. No, I don’t mind seeing a guy with his shirt off… well ok I do, but I don’t have more of a problem seeing Chaz as opposed to any other guy with his shirt off. When you see the picture you can tell something is off. Off, that is actually a good choice of words for it.
As for Terra Nova, I don’t want to be drawn into it, but has anyone told them that time travel is not possible? It just doesn’t work. Now let me get back to watching Doctor Who, the season finale is coming out soon.

LOL, JT! My ability to suspend my disbelief knows no bounds especially when it comes to dinosaurs. I’ve loved them since the first time I saw the original King Kong on Million Dollar Movie.

I watched the whole 2 hours of DWTS and yet, I failed to catch the Nancy Grace thing. if I had, it would have been in my review. This is not the first time this has happened on the show. The very first season it happened to Kelly Monacco while dancing and she had to hold her top up with her left hand. It has also happened to two of the pros, Cheryl and Karina. You would think that the wardrobe people would not push those girls to the limit so that there wouldn’t be a chance of them popping out. A lady can dance without her girls showing.

Kelly Monacco, Cheryl Burke, Karina, I’m ok with wardrobe problems from those three. However, with Nancy Grace: kill it with fire!

In Idol… semi-news: Jordin Sparks is now dating Jason Derulo. I’ll admit it, I had to Google Jason Derulo, but then most of his fans probably had to do the same for Jordin Sparks.

Wasn’t Jason Derulo on Idol as a guest a few seasons back? I remember the name if not the person.

While we are dissecting the message of admiration, who still says “As I live and breathe”? I mean aside from women over the age of 80 years old that is, because I’ve neither heard a male nor anyone under that age use that specific phrase.

Well, here’s the gang. Is it December already? Thought that was when AI Buzz was to be mercilessly slaughtered…
At any rate, Branch is back and glad to be home. Papa Loveless’ surgery went well. He is having a few issues post-op but the doctor believes he can straighten those out soon. We were going to stay longer but Papa ran us off. I’m checking on him daily and will go back at a moment’s notice if he needs me. However, my sisters have said they (and a couple of my nieces as well) will keep a close watch. Papa has a couple of wonderful neighbors who are doing the same.
So, what did I miss while I was gone (besides getting to say farewell to AI Buzz)?

As far as the Sing Off, it was pretty good last night. The groups from last week were much stronger. However, it seemed a bit down IMO. First of all, last year’s winner “Committed” performed a snippet. It was “Take 6” tight. I MUST purchase their cd.
Dartmouth Aires – They sang “Higher Ground”. Typical a capella group. All the harmonies and voices were in place from lower and mid baritones to the high tenors. They were full of energy and the lead singer was powerful.
Sonos – The performed “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. Interesting arrangement of the song, but their beat-box guy was off the charts. They’re usually used to working with electronic fills, but they did a decent job in covering. Although they lack the full harmonies of the other groups, the girls have that “Pia affect”. That may keep them around in the fan voting phase.
North Shore – They sang “Runaround Sue” by Dion. There’s nothing like an old fashioned doo wop group, that happens to be one of the best in the business. All of the harmonies were clean and the crowd really got into it.

Deltones – College group from University of Delaware that sang “Feels Like Home” by Randy Newman. Overall strong performance, but the lead started a bit shaky. Short skirts probably edged them over the highschool group Sol’d Out (eliminated).
The Collective – This group from Nashville performed “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. The lead is solid and unique. She has a very “rich” voice (as Shawn mentioned). The group didn’t blow me over. They’re basically a group of lead singers from other groups, and they’ve formed their own group for the show. Meh?
Messiah’s Men (eliminated) – They performed “People Get Ready” by The Impressions. Not the most technical group, but the sound was strong and full of bass and baritone. It felt good, but they’re not strong enough for this type of competition.
Pentatonix – They sang “E.T.” by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West. Not much to say about this group other than the bass singer. Not low baritone, but real bass.

Not too sure yet about the new home; it just feels weird. But time will probably help that, right?
