Atlantan Dolvett Quince joins NBC’s competitive reality show “The Biggest Loser” as one of two new trainers. The other two are veteran Bob Harper and fellow newcomer and former tennis pro Anna Kournikova. Their jobs: help a group of morbidly obese men and women lose as much weight as possible over 11 weeks. The winner receives $250,000. Its 12th season begins tonight at 8 p.m.

Why “The Biggest Loser”? “It’s such a dominant show in terms of health and fitness and truly helps people transform their lives. It’s something I’ve been doing my entire life. I can now do it on a bigger scale.”
His philosophy: “Over the years, I’ve been more than just a trainer. I’ve been a friend. I’ve been a life coach. You’ll see it on the show as well where I’m able to connect with the contestants that way.”
What he’s learned so far: “When I hear their stories, some of them are similar to mine. I definitely learned a lot about facing my demons and dealing with issues. I can’t be too specific yet because there are episodes coming up that will disclose that.”

I continue to be amazed by this show, and Dolvett was a great addition to it.
I don’t know how someone can lose 37 pounds in ONE week. Then again, this person weighs two hundred pounds more than I do, and it’s a sign that their previous life was SO unhealthy that even switching to a healthy diet without the rigorous exercise would have had amazing results.

What an addition to the show. Unfortunately I had no idea who he was. He seems great and has a great chemistry with his team. My TV screen almost overheated…..that man is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
