Forbes: Tyler Perry top-paid man in entertainment; Elton John fourth

Atlanta media mogul Tyler Perry is wealthy and successful. We all know that.
Forbes just quantified it, estimating his income from May 2010 to May 2011 as $130 million, more than any other man in entertainment.
That’s more than Simon Cowell (ranked No. 5), more than Brad Pitt, more than Leonardo DiCaprio, the only other actor in the top 10 Forbes compiled.
Forbes credited Perry’s five films he has made the past two years and two TV series. He is also starring in author James Patterson’s “I, Alex Cross” as detective Alex Cross.
Part-time Atlantan Elton John also made the list, generating $100 million in that time period and ranking No. 4, thanks to a worldwide tour.
In between are producers Jerry Bruckheimer at No. 2 and Steven Spielberg at No. 3. Dr. Phil is at No. 7.

While we are at it, let’s penalize the hardworking people by making them pay for health insurance because as we all know, it’s not fair for only some people to have things. Everyone should get a trophy, everyone should be the same no matter how hard you work (or lack thereof). Why wouldn’t an illegal hispanic family have 8 kids in this country. Look Mr. Champagne drinker. Here’s what I think. I have a big problem with the black community’s obsession with all things material and thinking that material posessions somehow buy you class. Precisely the way you behave. If you really had the money to nonchalantly drink Champagne in France and Monaco, you certainly wouldn’t have to blurt that out on a blog so that you would be perceived as someone who has class. You have none, it’s clear. Unless you believe there are not social problems within the black community, you might think that financial resources could be better allocated to address some of those issues, instead of perpetuating the “bling” lifestyle that so many foolishly desire.
