It’s a world where someone is nicknamed Turtle, “AquaMan” was a huge hit and a biopic of Pablo Escobar wasn’t. HBO’s “Entourage” starts its eighth and final season Sunday. Vince, fresh out of rehab, is back with his buddies and seeking a comeback while Ari struggles with his personal life. Welcome back, guys, even for just a little while longer.
And speaking of Escobar, the late Colombian drug lord actually kept wild hippos. Animal Planet checks up on them 18 years after his death. And you have to love the TV title: “Drug Kingpin Hippos.” It sounds like a childhood game gone amuck and it airs Tuesday .
Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” is back Monday for a ninth time and after previewing it, I have to say: it’s the same ol’ same ol’ if you’re into that sort of thing. History’s “Top Gear”? It’s back, too, trying to pick up after a disappointing first season, ratings wise.

“It’s Worth What?” is an amped-up version of “The Price Is Right”? How can you get more amped up than “Price” is now?

“Breaking Bad” let me down. Too much blood and guts, especially the box cutter murder scene. The story seemed to drift in an aimless manner to me.

@Mr Ed.
I loved that scene that you say was too violent. It was intended to send a strong message, and it definitely accomplished that. I don’t know why you think the story drifted in an aimless manner, it’s pretty clear to me.

Best 30Rock quote of last season: (on fans mailing items to execs to save shows) “They sent lightbulbs to save Friday Night Lights, hot sauce to save Roswell, and douchebags to save Entourage”
If you still think that show is cool….you suck.

Platinum Hit is an AWESOME & Much needed show- I just wish @Bravo would give it the advertising & repeat airings it gives those housewife or Top Chef shows ( love Top Chef too). The show needs a chance to find an audience so stop moving it around and give some help and you will see people want this as much or more than American Idol, The Voice and America’s Go Talent. It is different from all of those shows and in MY opinion BETTER!!
