All six ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ set to be back for season four
Not surprisingly, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will be back for a fourth season. And Bravo is keeping the same six women: NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield, Kim Zolciak, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey.
This is the first season where they have chosen to make no change.
And despite rumors of Kim or NeNe leaving for spinoffs, Andy Cohen is sticking with what’s worked already. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is the most popular “Housewives” franchise, averaging nearly 3 million viewers per episode last season, up from 2.7 million season two.
Loading ...(Word is that “Real Housewives of D.C.” is already gone after one season. It’s unclear if “Miami” will merit a second season.)
Production for Atlanta is supposed to begin this month. Given how cold the relationship has become between Kim and NeNe, will they have any desire to reconcile again.
Oh, and that $3.2 million house Kroy Biermann and Kim were looking at in Roswell to lease-purchase? The deal fell through, according to the real estate agent Rebecca Currie, who admitted Kim was a bit peeved that Currie spoke to me (although it was Kim’s daughter who Tweeted out the information a few weeks ago.)

Housewives from the various cities bring the culture of their respective areas to their shows. If Miami housewives acted like the OC or NY girls, it could not be “real.” I am addicted to all the shows (sad to say). We all live very different lives and a lot of that depends on where you are located.

None of these women are “rich”… and more than half of them aren’t “housewives”. You would think Bravo could get a better cast in Atlanta. Buckhead anyone??? Most of these women seriously suck. Nene is so damn annoying, Phaedra is a racist boring hypocrite, Kandi is OK, and Sheree and Cynthia are BORING but at least they both have class (unlike Nene). Kim is the only entertaining one.
At least the casts of the OC and Beverly Hills shows look good and are rich (and most also have husbands).

wow, @chris– you do know about population, race and percentages don’t you? oh wait, NO, you obviously havent a clue regarding the REAL world we all live in. @outspoken one—omgosh, too funny. @boo- true: the different shows are kinda different from each other due to geographic location. personally, i like the new york ladies and the hollywood? ones. at first i totally was mad at the “rhoa” because of how they portrayed my hometown. i am no longer mad at them–they are so unreal- no one takes them any deeper than face value other than chris.

I wasn’t worried about the RHOA MEMBERS coming back I’ve enjoyed the show and been a member of TEAM NE-NE since the 1st show…But all the complaints are hilarious…If you don’t like the show then don’t watch it..As far as Ne-Ne is concerned honey people can say what they want because she’s doing very well for herself and could really “give a rats a$$” about what other people think about her…GO NE-NE KEEP DOING YOU!!!

I say clear nene out.. The witch and that is being kind needs to go. She is trashy and disgusting and has no true valuable morals. A little success went to her fat head and stayed. What she doesn’t understand is success can come and go in an instant and she is definitely on the way out.. Bye nene, no one with any moral fiber will miss you at all! I think it is hilarious how you keep trying to hold onto your 15 minutes..LOL

I think the housewives are great entertainment. If you don’t like them, turn the channel. It’s pretty simple. They don’t “represent” anyone but, themselves. Actually, I think they do a fine job displaying reality. They face real problems and live what many of us in Atlanta consider normal. We all are human. The brandy bunch days are over.. It’s 2011.

I am glad that it is coming back with the same people. The show is hilarious to m, they speak all the time of having class and being socialites, but they fight and argue over the most smallest of subjects. Since the show begun one house wife was asked not to come back because she did not stir up enough drama. Another left because all her personal mishaps were being out out there: her husbands’ professional career was gone, they had a house that was in foreclosure even though she swears up and down it was not. She tried to phrase it in terms that did not sound as bad as “ya lost ya house”. NeNe has gotten into it with all the cast mated except for Cynthia & I would guess that would be because she was all up Nene’s behind last season, if she starts having a mind of her own Nene is going to attack like a beast. Kandi pretty much is the only one that has any sense, Phadrea is funny to me with her sayings and the fact that everyone was wanting to know about her personal life and Nene acting as though she had NEVER heard of her before the show that was good. I was glad Phadrea bust her ghetto butt up when she said you did call me when Bobby Brown was on court TV to be on the show, but you don’t know me DORK!!! Kim does some questionable things, but for the most part she got her mess together and she knows and has powerful friends. Nene’s marriage was falling apart her son was getting into trouble and being a thug, I think she was totally embarssed about both things and decided to take things out on everyone else. She is a very jealous person, when Kandi first started the show she claimed her singing was alright it was nothing special, but can you hold a note? She still mad Kim made that music track without her and that it was a big hit. She made the statement that “she will NEVER sell or it will NEVER be a hit without me”, well she proved you wrong. The funny thing is that everyone including Kim knows she cannot sing, but she cashed in on her dream. The show is funny since some cast members figure they are better then everyone else, that’s a joke. On the flip side Chris & Truth you guys crack me up!!!

Well, ya’ll can have “The United States Of America”. My suggestions is for the red necks to come out of their comfort zones and travel to educate themselves on various cultural experiences to learn tolerance, however, when you uneducated then you’re uneducated. The scary part is these red necks are producing off springs…yikes…….

yes, there was a dc housewives. one of the couples on it is the pair that likes to crash dc parties. and to the person who mentioned new jersey hw? omgosh! im just waiting to hear that they were gotten on r.i.c.o. cause they couldnt get them any other way. the trip to italy? hilariously in bad taste. and my bad: syfy, food network, and bravo.

I don’t normally watch this show…but I have seen it a couple of times. I HAVE been watching Celebrity Apprentice (Nene is handling herself very well on that show…more restained, actually). As for this show and similar ones…they are being paid to be outrageous. If they were not, they would be replaced. So all of the controversy, etc., is just for the cameras…I suspect none of these ladies are like their on-camera persona. Personally…I don’t resent anyone trying to survive and get paid. I wish them all well.

Alla, I am sixth generation native and the city has changed so much. There are amazing opportunities for anyone that wants to work hard, regardless of race. If you are AA you are actually part of the majority. I think Chris might be referring to the fact that most od the RHOAs have some questiionable ethics, not paying their bills, skipping out on rental property, not setting good examples for their children and even Phaedra’s husban was in jail for rackateering. That said the show is entertaining but definitely not an accurate repesentation of real Southern ladies, not a one is in the Jr. League.

I too am thrilled that all of the ladies are coming back. Could it be that the folks that have such negative things to say about NeNe…are actually undercover haters? Why? FOLKS GET SO TIRED OF NE NEE LEAKS AND HER GHETTO ATTITUDE. SHE IS SUCH TROUBLE MAKER. THERE CAN NEVER BE AN EVENT WHERE SHE CAN ENTER THE ROOM IN A PROFESSIONAL AND LADY LIKE MANNER. SHE ALWAYS HAS TO BE LOUD AND STUPID. IF SHE HAD USED ALL THAT ENERGY IN HER MARRIAGE, SHE MAY STILL HAVE THE MAN OF SOMEONE’S DREAM. Phaedra and Kandi are the most sofisticated ladies on this show. They actually have an intelligent attitude and provide information that is crucial to the business community. They speak so intelligently. They show love for their children and their families and show respect for their cast mates. Neither one of them are boring to listen to. They speak with excitement and something worthwhile is coming out of their mouths when they open them up. I also love the advice Kandi and Phaedra gives for ladies on different ways to please men and ourselves. Please don’t change either of you. It not worth being like one of the other characters in this show.

Nene needs to find A Daddy_Any Daddy that will claim her & she’ll calm the F#@$ down..She’s all over in the Trumps Apprentice show with same attitude “Loud mouth Bully is what LaToya calls her All mouth.
Fact on that LaToya_She’s(nene) what So many want to see out of Black Women..as much as i don’t care for Nene..the show wouldn’t be the same W/O her..it’s a need “No Juice W/O Positive+ & Negative-/ think about it.
Blacks Rule when all is Said and done, when allowed to Be themselves_True not all understand Blacks_as well as it’s True Not All Other mostly aired races appeal to the masses as entertaining.
Nevertheless “AMERICANS” are the Worlds Multi-Humanity location and to say it as best said but won’t ever be Connected as it should”Can’t we all just ust get along.
