MTV has released an extended trailer for its remake of the 1985 Michael J. Fox horror comedy “Teen Wolf,” shot the past few months here in metro Atlanta. It’s set to debut after the MTV Movie Awards June 5.
Fox’s film was done for laughs. This MTV version starring Tyler Posey (”Lincoln Heights”) is clearly darker and more mysterious, with echoes of “Twilight” and fellow Atlanta-based show “Vampire Diaries” in its execution.
Rodney Ho covers TV and radio, from Atlanta’s stations to the hottest “American Idol\" news.

Really? A remake of Teen Wolf? For the love of god, just admit you’re out of good ideas Hollywood. Quit trying to shove this utter crap down our throats.

Why even call it a remake. The only thing they have in common is the title.

The music is horrible. This doesn’t have too bad of a feel, maybe worth a rental or netflix drop. Getting kinda tired of the teenage angst junk though
