‘24′ star Annie Werschling on ABC pilot ‘Partners’ taping in Atlanta

annie-wersching-2010-1-12-0-11-50ABC is shooting a pilot in Atlanta for a new crime drama “Partners’” starring Annie Wersching (right), who played Renee Walker on “24″ its final two seasons.

The concept, according to, is two female detectives who are secretly half sisters. Wersching plays one sister. Scottie Thompson, last seen on NBC’s short-run medical drama “Trauma,” is the other.

“Partners” shot Grant Park last week, then Druid Hills. On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the show shot in the Old Fourth Ward.  It’s set to wrap production April 1. Keep up with the show’s progress here at

There is about a one in three shot of a pilot turning into a series on a major network like ABC. We’ll know in May whether it makes the schedule.

The other pilot shooting in town right now is CBS’s “Hail Mary” starring Minnie  Driver.

A Criminal Justice Degree from “United Forensic College” led me to a point in life I thought I would never reach.

Annie is smoking hot so I’d watch just about anything she’s on. I mean, you always have the mute button at your disposal.

Two half sisters? Does that make one whole sister?

The show is building an entire police station over here at the King Plow Arts Center–it’s amazing how much detail goes in to the sets! Very cool to watch them build it and transform the Event Gallery into something completely different.

This is why I stopped watching broadcast TV a LONG time ago! Its the same ole same ole, nothing but Cop/Government/CIA type shows or medical shows.

Please hire some new writers with some fresh new ideas! This is why cable networks like HBO succeed with shows like The Sopranos and True Blood because these are new ideas that no one ever seen before, while broadcast networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) fail with shows like Southland and Undercovers because its the same thing over and over, COP or MEDICAL!!!

Hey TS, your opinion is justified but there are waves of fans out there who actually enjoy the shows like Southland (which, by the way is a more realistic COP show than some that are on the major networks) and Undercovers. I would say, maybe, that’s why some of these shows are picked up by other networks.

Being from Atlanta but living clear across the country now, I look forward to seeing Partners succeed, just to be able to see scenes from home. Good luck Partners! ….oh yeah, they might have a shot if they bring Jack Bauer in for a few cameos!

Try Justified on FX. A fun take on Elmore Leonard.

Dont lump SouthLAnd in with all of the other “cop dramas”. It’s the best show on t.v. right now and one of the best “cop dramas” ever.

Is this the same as the pilot that was filming last week in Kirkwood starring Minnie Driver?

T.S., you left off the lawyer shows. It is sad that they are all the same. Every season, a new show similar to Friends appears. Nothing new.

USA Network has a lineup of fresh, new shows. Burn Notice, White Collar, Royal Pains, Psych, etc. are all great shows.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green with Jennifer Garner has been shooting in Northlake/Tucker. They are using Dharma Jewel Monastery, St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, Northlake Mall and Henderson Park Community Garden. Principal photography is at the soccer fields on Henderson Road. I think they are about to wrap up over there though.

[...] Mary,” a crime drama pilot starring Minnie Driver, is being shot now in metro Atlanta. ABC’s “Partners,” another crime dramas featuring two detectives who are secretly half sisters, is set to wrap on April [...]
