Lisa Wu Hartwell leaving ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’
Lisa Wu Hartwell’s third season with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will be her last, her publicist Carlos Scott confirmed.
“She doesn’t want to just be a reality star,” Scott told me today. In fact, she’s gotten some acting gigs lately. A few months back, she was on a “Meet the Browns” episode. She just did a fitness DVD. And she’s working on a film with Robert Downey Jr., Scott said.
He said the decision was mutual though Bravo is keeping mum on any production details about season three.
The Black Voices Web site, which broke the news, speculates that she won’t even be on the opening credits and may only pop up in a handful of episodes as the show introduces the two new cast mates Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey.
Loading ...Wu Hartwell didn’t cause much drama overall though she did get angry at Kim Zolciak during the season one reunion show and threatened to flip her over a couch for talking smack about her and her kids. Last season, her most memorable moment was probably trying to make babies with her husband Ed, hardly the stuff of wig-pulling and smack talking and bad dance song recording.
She ultimately came across as an attractive, hard-working, likable person.

I love watching the show, (simply because it IS entertaining…which is due to the trashiness of the women on the show), however, they in NO way represent the true style and class that Atlanta needs to exude to the rest of the country. Sorry girls, but the real style Atlanta was built upon was class acts…not “ghetto fab.”

No hate from me for Lisa & Ed. And who cares if she spends Ed’s money; she’s supposed to spend his money, she’s his WIFE. As long as they’re “getting it in ” every day (as she stated they do!) with each other, I’m sure Mr. Hartwell doesn’t mind keeping his wife happy as long as she keeps HIM HAPPY…single people out there who can’t seem to get a decent man or woman, TAKE NOTES (lol). Lisa will NEVER BE HUSBAND-LESS….

Why is it so hard to believe that Lisa is quitting? She’s not the first one to quit the Housewives franchise. Lori & Jenna, Joe and another one quit Orange County and Dina quit New Jersey. Lisa just decided to jumpoff the trainwreck before it collides and it will eventually come off the tracks. Bravo is just pimping the girls while they make all the money. Lisa was smart to leave now. Lisa will always be remembered as the prettiest and sexiest one of them with a fine husband.

I love and enjoy Hosusewives of Atlanta. Remember, people it is a Hollywood production. It is not REAL. It is make believe with some real things going on in their lives. Why, do we over kill and over examine these young ladies. Have you watched the phoniess of the other Housewives shows. Give Atlanta a break. This group is much more entertaining. If you watch the other shows you see very similar things going on but with a different beat. I love all the “PLAYERS” on Housewives of Atlanta, even Dwight and I cannot wait until the new shows begin. Bring it on NeNe, Kandy, Kim, Lisa and the new Georgia “peaches”. By the way, let us get more views of HOTATLANTA rich and famous African American and how we look FABULOUS IN ATLANTA. Don’t hate the player(s), hate the GAME and we got it going on in A-TOWN.
