Metro Atlantan Bryan Gaynor returns to ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

BrianGaynor

I’m not sure why “So You Think You Can Dance” brought metro Atlantan Bryan Gaynor back again, but he was so amazing in 2007, I guess the producers couldn’t resist. He does a robot dance that’s impressive for a man with a painful condition of scoliosis. Sure, he has no chance to compete on the show given his limitation with partners, but he does bring one of the judges to tears this time around. I saw him at MJQ Concourse, the dance club, a couple of years ago. UPDATE: Two days after I wrote this, I saw him AGAIN at MJQ, doing his thing with a couple of lady dancers. As I was walking out of the club at 2 a.m., he was texting madly but I didn’t approach him. I’ll have to talk to him later.

“You are such an inspiration,” said one of the judges Adam Shankman.

He is part of a dance crew called Remote Control that Nigel Lythgoe said will show up again on a future episode.

Here’s a clip from last night during the Nashville auditions. The entire clip was taken off YouTube (copyright violation.)

This was his original audition in 2007:

I remember seeing this guy at different band shows in Warner Robins and Macon. He used to blow all our minds. Then one day i turn on the TV and see him there. This guy is great

This was the first time for me to see him perform. I got tears in my eyes! It was great! I am glad that they will bring him back! I would watch the show just to see what he and his group will do. What was the name of the song he performed to?
