VH1 renews Atlanta’s ‘What Chilli Wants’ for a second season
VH1’s reality show “What Chilli Wants,” which features TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas seeking a man, has gotten a second season nod.
The show averaged 1.3 million viewers in its freshman year on Sunday nights, a good figure for VH1. It was a consistent performer the past few weeks, though it drooped a bit versus the “Lost” finale for its first-season finale this past Sunday.
Two other new reality shows “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business” and “Basketball Wives” both get renewals as well.

Isn’t she supposed to pretend for at least a few months that she was indeed successful in finding someone before the ‘announcement’ comes that it wasn’t a good fit and she’s back on the search?
At least that’s how Flavor Flav (3x), Ray J (2x), Bret Michael’s (3x) and Miss New York (2x) did it.

Damn seems like some of yall are mad that she is probably getting $10,000 an episode for cameras to follow her around and go on dates and she probably gets around $20,000 a month from Dallas Austin in child support. Meanwhile you guys are on here talking about her while hoping you dont get laid off from your miserable jobs. Good for her!

Are you serious???? VH-1 can I get a show???? She doesn’t have any money and nothing to offer like everyone says, so why are you all focusing on her. I have a story for you, I am educated, MBA, MPA, and pursuing a doctorate, make 6 figures per year, no kids, and can’t find a decent BLACK man in ATL. Most of the men here play games, are leeches, or are married/ Gay.. Then they want to say that women in Atlanta have high standards. You know what, I have dropped my standards to the basics of a car, house (apt. will do), job, all teeth, can read and write, etc.. (lol).. Seriously,. let’s focus on real issues and real women, not washed up has beens!!!

I came across her show while flipping through the channels…i think her show sucks. Its OK to dictate what “she wants” in a man if she’s really deserving of those traits that she’s looking for. There would be a much better balance in her show if she ever stated what it was that she has to offer…i watched if for 15 mins and saw no hint of anything. This from a “has been”.

I like Chilli, she is nice looking for ANY age, but she does not come across well on this show at all! What man, with ANYTHING going for himself and with any pride would want to be with her. She shows ZERO redeeming qualities on this show that would make you want to be in her life. Same with the Basketball wives. These women are NOT impressive at all and it’s really sad!!!

I agree with those who say Chilli seems to be asking a lot without having a lot to offer.
For someone so demanding, what is she bringing to the table — a pretty face and a fit body?? In this city, that’s a dime a dozen. A quality, educated, paid black man in Atlanta has access to finer, fitter, sexier, better educated women with… less baggage.

The show is a little boring! It’s not that I’m looking for drama, but it’s just not catching my attention.. and I’m a fan! I really do not care for the match maker, she’s the reason I change the channel…too, too much or something. Plus, writing a relationship book or two, does not make you an expert…glad she has a job, but it’s just not a good fit from a fellow TLC and reality show fan.
