Who is gone next on ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

Kate Gosselin going home

It’s about time.

Kate “Catatonic” Gosselin is finally taking her two left feet home to the kids. She does tear up and can’t say anything. Tony defends her. “I had the opportunity. I’m very honored to have been here,” she finally sputtered.

The “Dancing With the Stars” producers couldn’t have been happy about the bottom two: Pam Anderson and Gosselin, the two most divisive characters on the show.

Anderson is clearly a tough sell for the older, mostly female voters despite great dance performances and praise from the judges.

Gosselin almost looked like a dancer last week but regressed Monday night with a slow-motion fox trot that garnered just 15 points, by far the worst of the night. She has been easily the worst dancer this season but somehow beat three others. Where her fan base came from is a mystery to me. Perhaps it’s single moms out there who felt for her.

I think her partner Tony was the happiest guy in that room tonight!

Watching her was like watching someone dance with a piece of lumber.

I noticed the producers gave her more time than they do anyone else at the end when the hosts interview her, I think they know they were losing their big draw, even though she’s a train wreck, I’m just glad I don’t have to watch her on tv complaining about how she hates being in the spotlight. Now I just have to avoid TLC, ET, The Today Show or People magazine, which she seems to be in or on every week. Her and Jon were made for each other, I have no respect for both.

I’m not a fan of Kate’s and have never seen this show, but I don’t like the hypocrites that say she should be home with the kids. Many stars are on the road filming movies (Angelina Jolie comes to mind) and leave the child rearing to nannies, yet she and others get praised.

Rodney, your comments about female audience members is quite sexist. I’m a mid-50s woman and I don’t vote, but if I did, I wouldn’t be adverse to voting for Pamela Anderson. I can evaluate her dancing skills w/o being envious or resentful of her sex appeal. She shouldn’t be in the bottom two. And, I assure you, not many single mothers in the audience have much in common with Kate Gosselin’s lifestyle. Your writing is showing your narrow mindedness, not women’s.

Molly – no, YOU’RE the one showing your narrow mindedness, not Rodney. Seriously, do you have a clue? He’s right – most of the voters on the show are women and they don’t want to vote for a “sex kitten.”

He wasn’t talking about old lesbians like yourself, just the majority of female voters. Heck, you don’t even vote so you have nothing to disagree with him about!

Prof: Your comment is tacky. There is no need to call people names. Showing common courtesy is the only way reasonable people can exchange ideas.

Come on Prof – is name calling really necessary? People disagree all the time but it should be done with respect for the opinion of others without name calling. As a senior citizen, in my opinion, both Kate and Pam should have been gone long ago but the majority of people didn’t agree. That is their right. I personally see nothing sexist in Rodney’s comments either.

She got her 15-minutes. Send her back to the trailer park.

Prof & Rodney, you are 100% right, and clearly all guys will support you. Do not worry about Molly, and her dilusions. She is just menopausal.

I think that Cheryl is rooting for her partner Chad Ochocinco to be voted off next week. Does anyone else find his stalking of her a bit creepy? I think she’s over him – big time – right now.

I’m not in the least bit jealous of Pam. I think she’s delightful and a very good dancer to boot. She definitely did not deserve to be in the bottom two with Kate.

Thank goodness Kate is gone. I was tired of her wanting people to feel sorry for her. I didn’t like her on her show, and definitely didn’t like her on DWS. Who cares who voted for her because the most important thing is, SHE’S GONE. YEAH

I feel sorry for you people. Glued to the idiot box night after night. I’m proud to say that I have never, ever watched Kate on any TV show.

Ok, Prof. was right up until he or she started “name calling.” Apparently, they forgot we’re living in a overly sensitive, shoot first, ask question later society. I don’t even watch this mess of a show, sorry I’m just not into reality shows, but my girlfriend watches it and she said the same most people have been saying, Kate was still on this show because she has a “strange”following. Rodney was not being sexist, he was just stating the facts, they’re probably men that watch this show, but I’m sure the few men that do watch it, aren’t calling as much as most of the women that do watch it. I’m still wondering how many of yall truthfully believe Donny Osmond was the true winner of the show last season.

Thank goodness. Now the viewers can watch “REAL” dancers.

Why do people hate Kate so much? People must just like to be a part of a hating group. Personally, I think that Nicey person should have been voted off. She thinks she is so special and cute, She definitely is not in my opinion She needs to lose about 50 – 100 pounds. Most all of us can shimmy and shake, there is nothing special about that.

@Faye – Learn how to spell someone’s name before you attempt to talk badly about them. By the way, how much weight do YOU need to lose??

She did the Monster Mash and it held for several weeks. But goodbye and good riddance. Yes Brett this publicity hound wannabe will opt for Playboy next or American Idol where she can take her eight little friends and not be soo exhausted.

According to CNN
she was already rejected by Playboy but maybe she will try to replace Simon on American Idol, :-(

I have been waiting since week 1 for them to send Kate home. She can’t dance, she disrespected Tony every week. All of these friends she said she had made while there wouldn’t even talk to her. Tony has to be ecstatic today. He doesn’t have to put up with her whining. As for Pam, at least she can dance. She’s a beautiful lady. My pick this season is Evan (since I can’t have Derek).

Wow, I can’t imagine Kate getting a Playboy spread. It’d be sponsored by Amtrak – with a tunnel so wide a train could go through it!
