UPDATE: TMZ reports NeNe Leakes’ son turns himself in for outstanding warrant
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member NeNe Leakes in a statement last month said she’d deal some “tough love” on her son Bryson Bryant (left, with last month’s mug shot) for getting caught and arrested for a minor pot possession.
TMZ initially reported today that Bryant was arrested a second time in a month, this time for an illegal weapons possession. But at about 1 p.m., they corrected the item, saying he actually had just turned himself in based on an outstanding warrant related to an additional charge related to an initial March 7 pot possession charge. Gwinnett County fed TMZ the wrong information at first. The actual news wasn’t all that newsy in the end.
TMZ does not state what the additional charge is. I’ve left a message with the PIOs at Gwinnett County police to see if they can clarify the situation.
According to the docket, he entered Tuesday afternoon at 1:58 p.m. and left at 3:35 a.m. this morning. He is out on a $5,700 bond.

The third season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has just started taping, with an expected return on air in the fall. He has shown up a couple of times on the show, first going to college, then dropping out and aspiring to be a party promoter. Mediatakeout says model Cynthia Bailey may be joining attorney Phaedra Parks as a new housewife and that this certainly means a couple of the other housewives will be “written off” the show.

Love that fecal stain comment, but not sure how you contradict my point of NeNe calling herself a socialite when you can’t pay for you house, don’t have a job and your kid carries a gun. I smoke pot so i can’t knock on the guy for getting caught since it should legal but money don’t buy you class and if she had it she would prove that but the can’t take the ghetto out of someone rains true.

Ha Ha, The gals of Gwinett and their families are people to look up to. You got bad kids, former strippers, and proud adulters. You have a woman named Sheree that has a criminal record as long as her arm mostly for theft. I don’t know how people sit up and judge other people and how they raise their kids. You can give a child every thing they NEED on some still make mistake. Come on people, it is not like he is going to prison or that he is a hardcore thug or something. He has spent the few booking hours in jail and that is all he is going to do, besides the 1yrs probation and $500 buck fine.
