What makes you think blacks know how to save lives? I think you’ve got that backwards. As for sports, blacks are good entertainment, just don’t invite them over for dinner or let them hang around with your daughter or you’ll be in big trouble, you know what I mean?

Seriously, its 2009 almost 10 and there are still closed minded indiviuals who base everything on race? WarEagle, do you feel the same way about race when you are watching your sports and a black man is the reason your team is winning?? Would you feel the same way about race if you were rushed to the emergency room, saved and awaken to discover that someone of a different race just assisted in saving your miserable life?

In fact, the above sentiments are extended to most of the rest of you. You simply hate that you don’t have the power (or money) of Oprah or Obama and most of you deep down are scared of all that chocolate success. I love it. Hope your hooded grandpas aren’t rolling over too much in their graves.

It’s a dinky station in a dinky market. The reason they refer to it as networks here is because Atlanta thinks it’s so important and so well known across the country that they become delusional. Meanwhile, nobody outside of Atlanta knows hardly anything about Atlanta, nor cares.

I have one question that has less to do with what you’ve written and more to do with how you’ve written it: Why do you keep calling local stations “networks”?

ABC is a network. CBS is a network. Fox is a network. WSB-TV is a station, as is WXIA-TV.

Why that use of wording? I worked in broadcasting for a number of years, and the difference is quite easy for me to see.
