Who made the final three on ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

Who do you think will win next week?

Voters opted for personality over grace and skill by eliminating model Joanne Krupa.

Krupa couldn’t have been more boring as a person but she really did evoke impressive elegance on the dance floor, especially on the slower dances such as the waltz.

She had the second highest judges’ scores, garnering 81 out of 90, getting 9s from all three judges Monday night on all three dances. So she missed the finals next week.

But both singer/entertainer Kelly Osbourne (78 out of 90) and singer/entertainer Donny Osmond (just 74 out of 90) overcame the judges’ scores to overtake her in the voting.

R&B singer Mya (with a near perfect 87 out of 90) had by far the best judges’ scores, proving her superior dancing skills over everybody else. She is averaging 26.9 per three judges over 13 dances.

But realistically, this is also a popularity contest and she simply lacks the exuberance and fun Donny brings to the dance floor. He is, in my mind, the favorite to win next week.

Kelly, for all her admirable efforts improving her dancing over the past seven weeks, is more interesting off the dance floor than on.

yea, good assessment rodney – kelly’s got by far the best story, and who knew she could move like a graceful swan?

How can anybody say that Donny Osmond is rating higher than Mya in this competition. She clearly has a fan base cause she’s still there. Donny has the older crowd vote but he is corny and talks to much. How is he fun. He’s more irritating than anything. The best dancer is Mya. Hopefully the people will vote for talent.

Sorry for you Kelly fans. She is not a good dancer. How is she graceful. Her sixties routine was horrible. Are you people blind. I’ve been watching it since day one. Sorry she’s not good. I would have gotten rid of her a long time ago.

Honestly, I’ve had enough of the Osmonds. They are good entertainers but dancing skill belongs to Mya. If Donny wins, I may have to really give up on this show, its a dancing competition, not the “Worlds Best Entertainer Award” Enough with Donny and Marie PLEASE!

Not impressed

Your comment regarding Mya as being the superior dancer is correct in the fact that she has been a dancer since a very young age. She is a beautiful dancer, but unfortunately, in fairness to most of the other contestants, she has performed tap, ballet and jazz and who knows what else according to her website. She is also a choreographer and made dance appearances in theater and movies, as well as the Kennedy Center, plus other venues. You would think these judges and voters would give the extra credit to the contestants who do not possess any dance experience at all. I also think that their professional partners have a much less difficult job as opposed to the professionals who must teach a novice dancer. That to me is what defines a professional and a contestant who learns from scratch and develops into “a” dancer.

Apparently Mya met the rules of the show and should be judged on her skills as a dancer. If she should be penalized because of her prior knowledge of dance, then why in the world would she be allowed to participate? She is not a professional dancer period, and should win this competition based on her ability to dance.

I second that Sue.. The Osmonds have been in entertainment news for a year for nothing!! I’m sick of them too. It’s like they paid the media outlets for promos. Maybe the Nielson people have found more seniors watching these shows. They were even on the new Johnny Carson last night!

Donny is by the best dancer/entertainer. The judges are harder on him then anyone. Kelly is terrible. She is totally lacking in dance skills. How can you think of her a graceful lady with her trashy mouth and all those tatoos? I don’t get it, but the judges love her. Go figure.

Keeping Kelly over Joanna is like selecting a can of spam over cavier. Come on people! Both Aaron and Joanna were excellent dancers, and they have both been beat out by Kelly Osbourne? Are you kidding me? This show has some serious flaws, as evidenced by what we just witnessed tonight.

Don’t you think Joanne’s appearance in this month’s Playboy offended some of regular, family-friendly viewing audience of DWTS?

We are yet again reminded that this isn’t just about dance, but about popularity. I’m so disappointed as I thought Joanne and Derrick brought so much more to the floor than either Donnie or Kelly. Mya is clearly the more technical dancer but for me Joanne was the more entertaining to watch. At this point I’ve lost all interest for this season, as either Kelly or Donnie is fine but both are absurd! Let’s see what next year brings.

No matter how you slice it …..Mya is HOT. I would do her in a New York minute!! She is the only reason I watch the show!!

I’m with you Hawskter! I’m through with this year’s show. It has obviously been a show based more on personality than ability and talent. Last night’s elimination showcased that perfectly. I won’t be watching next week.

I dont watch the show, but i think that Donny Osmond will win just because…..MYA is a DANCER and you would think that the show is based on talent

But it’s not…It’s a popularity contest….Mya should win, but these fools will vote for Donny

Americans are so controlled…..You all are controlled by TV….Whatever is popular, Americans will go with it….

You all have no mind of your owm

Clearly it is the voting process that is flawed. Told my wife last night that once it gets to the semis, the judges should rule on who is the best dancer – not the most popular. I agree that Kelly is a great story, but Aaron Carter should have been in the final four with Joanna, Mya and Donny. Mya first, Joanna 2nd and Donny/Aaron tied for 3rd. Think the judges would’ve seen it that way.

Very disappointed with the so called finalists…….they are both well known through television but never did enjoy watching them on the floor….they were terrible. Come on Dancing with the Stars
select the “real” dancers. Is this a popularity contest or what. We will NOT be watching the finals next week!!!

Let me clarify…..the finalists truly should have been Derek & Joanna along with Mya & Dmitri. They both showed true elegance to what we thought “Dancing with the Stars” was all about. The final decision choosing Donny Osmand & Kelly are very poor choices.

The name of the show is Dancing with the STARS and they cut the one who isn’t really a star. Makes sense to me. This is the first time we’ve had a finals with stars you’ve actually heard of before the show.

to vote out Joanne and leave in Kelly and Dony is ridicoulous. This is no lomger a dance show it is a popularity show and I for one will not watch it anymore.

i think that kelly has become a good dancer and you know people she is the story and people do like her (she still there) oh and for those that dont know and popularity kelly got the most botes from the people then was mya and then donny so i do think that kelly wont win but i do give her a second place, i love i think is a good message for young people that if you try even if is hard (whatever that is) you can do it.

I agree with Sue, I am so over the Osmonds I wish they would go away
Marie & Donny try to milk every moment.

Donny is much more fun to watch than the other dancers. They have all had a bad dance here or there Donny’s just happened to be this week because of a costume malfuntion. He has my vote as well as all his fans!!!

Donny Osmond is doing a superb job! Since he is the only man left, it is harder for him to compete against the women who are scantily dressed but he is dancing fantastic and I think he will win. He has the grace and lightness on his feet and he really tries so hard. I was really impressed with the dance routines he has done! I also saw his Vegas act and this is fantastic too.

Donny Osmond is a self promoting jerk!

Derek lost it for Joanna. He hogs all the attention and that is what turns me off about him. Joanna should be in the finals and Donny should’ve gone home.

DWTS and AI are the same…when do the hosts say vote for the best…they say if you want your favorite to be here next week, you have to vote. They don’t say vote for the best. Besides, best is a matter of opinion…beauty lies in the eye of the beholder! The judges don’t score fairly either so give it a rest. To have the winner determined solely by the judges, is a mistake…as I said, they have not scored fairly every season. Besides, if this were truly a dance competition, only pros would be dancing!
