After all those White Republiucan Senators held up Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination it should be no surprise to the party of “no”. I guess they can’t stand anybody of color in a position of influence in this country. It is sad what they are doing to America!

Somebody asked if George Lopez is the face of Latinos. I can say without hesitation that I would rather have him than Sara Palin. That lady is an absolute joke. It is scary to think that she could have been the Vice-President of the United States.

Not all Hispanics are liberal demos! I always thought his stand up was funny, but since he has gone all politico and bashed Bush and now Sarah…..no way will I watch him.

I just tuned in to a re-run of the George Lopez show and am shocked at a few things … I’m not terribly shocked at how offensive he is, or how disrespectful he is. I think I’m mostly shocked at how unfunny he is. How does someone like this get their own show … twice. I think that TV execs must want to capitalize on a growing latino market and they think George Lopez will draw them in. I was offended by the Sarah Palin “piece of s***” comment and even more offended by the Bristol “pass the white meat” comment, but would have understood the appeal if it was actually funny. You know when you laugh at an offensive joke and then catch yourself and think,”Oh, I shouldn’t be laughing at that.” Chelsea Handler has that effect on me … with George Lopez it is the opposite thought,”Huh? Is this supposed to be funny? Do other people actually find this funny?” Waste of time.

George, keep doing what you do best and that is keep us laughing. My wife and I really enjoy your show. I also know of many Mexican Americans that are being “turned on” by your show. Your guest are also the best in their respected discipline. We will be watching.

I think George’s humor is great!. His show is awesome. Both his previous TV show and now his late night show. He’s right on with his humor on Sara P. I have no respect for her.

Alfredoe, maybe you can tell me how a Latino like yourself becomes anti-liberal. Or you just that desensitized? ? Come on vato, with a name like Alfredo ya gotta be Latino. By choice or is it by environment that you are on the opposite side of the fence? Don’t be alarmed, but have you noticed your side is almost at sea level? Sinking comes to mind.

Love the show…love the way in whcih Mr. Jorge Lopez does not shy away from telling it how it is. All of you who in an attempt to seem “respectful” and represent your socially defined ethnic/cultural group, laugh a little, stop being stiff in the rear! Always critiquing others to boost your own ego, thats the first thing you should check and eliminate from your habits. Now, if your an Americanized “white is right” kind of robot, stay away from the show; your respectful ways are clogging my arteries with BOOORING!
