“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, part two, proved that Bravo did not need a part two.

The fundamental problem is last year’s reunion was such a blockbuster, there was virtually no chance they’d be able to match or exceed it. And they didn’t. The women were downright staid, attempting to be dignified. If we wanted dignified, we’d watch “Masterpiece Theatre.”

The first hour last week did have a few revelations. The second? Not much. One: Kim Zolciak stayed in tune during the chorus of “Tardy for the Party” but struggled with the verses when she attempted the song live. And she had no particular rhythm on stage. She also denied being a stripper. Rather, she said she was a waitress at the Cheetah and got good tips. (True? Not true? Who knows?)

I did enjoy the pursed lips and sour looks on the faces of NeNe Leakes and Lisa Wu Hartwell while Kim sang. Then they proceeded through gritted teeth to say it was fun and had a good beat. That’s like Paula Abdul saying the lousy singer looked pretty.

And Dwight Eubanks showed up and Kim slipped out that he had a penile implant. Dwight was not ashamed. ‘Nuf said there.

Lisa did get into a testy exchange with Dwight, believing he was not classy critiquing her fashion show right after the show (which she believed wasn’t exactly a fashion show because it included music and other elements. Semantics!). He was not apologetic. She compared it to her going to his salon and insulting his work there. Then she compared him answering NeNe’s question about Lisa’s show as if he were asked to jump off a cliff, would he do it? Not exactly a fair comparison.

And will Kim ever take off that wig and show us her real hair?

Oh, Sheree Whitfield was there, too, but was a virtual nonpresence this hour. I emailed her earlier today asking what she thought of Bob’s comments about her on that Internet radio show (that he had created a Frankenstein.) She has not responded.

This episode was the lamest I have ever seen. I think either those women were on Prozac or there were Orders of Protection. Dwight needs to go and the producers need to STOP stereotyping gays in Atlanta. We are not all flamboyant, wear high heels, huge handbags, etc. Dwight is letting his big head make him annoying!

I enjoyed season 1…season 2 was a wash. It seems that all of the housewives were acting for the camera. I felt that there was very little integrity about the way the show was produced this season. I didn’t really get a feel for the “housewives” lifestyles (raising children, married life)…most of what I saw centered around artificially created drama. At the reunion show, it was completely boring. I understood that it would be a somber occasion due to Kandi’s ordeal, however, when questions are asked and the ladies answered, it is clear that there are omissions and half-truths and true phoniness in the responses. If another show is in works for season 3, I would really like to see an ENTIRE new cast of women who really represent the elite Atlanta (whether that be wealth, class, status)…no more wannabees and those trying to come-uppance.

This had to have been the best episode I have seen. There was no drama, and I know these girls like to go at with eachother at every chance they may get as its part of the rating but I have to say that they all kept the peace with eachother out of respect to AJ, as his death was caused by drama that was not neccessary. I believe that Ladies were representing that tonight without saying it.

All I can say as I did ealier this year, NeNe’s 15 minutes were up and she knows it.

I waited all week to see 2 reunion shows that were like “sour grapes”. Lisa looked like she was hiding her face and was made up way over the top, I always liked Kandi, and her song is nice. Kim with the performance of tardy for the party was….you know OMG!!!! Sheree, please get rid of the bangs. Ne-Ne was clearly acting for the camera. I wish she would just be the “tell it like it is” person we came to know and love.
If this is how they are going to perform on Season 3….Kandi has a song about what the producers sxhould do…”trade em in”.

Unfortunately this will be the last time I will watch the Atlanta housewives. Kim you were just annoying and bitchy, I used to be a fan but now I am not.
People watch the show because you are real, “REAL HOUSEWIVES!!!!” it is a shame that Season 2 reunion was all fake, you are not actors in a movie but reality stars. And once the “REAL” in reality is gone then you are boring.
Hopefully Orange County will not make the same mistake, I have no hatred but wanted to express my opinion that I loved the show and now I am very disappointed.

This was the lamest and uninspired reunion show I’ve ever seen. I not only blame the obvious tight-lipped made-up “real” woman, but the host. He got in a few jabs but an interviewer he isn’t. You can’t just ask a hard question and gloss over the non-answer, sheesh. And why wasn’t there a real audience? And what no TMZ to see “Big Poppa”?
And please on all the “book releases”, reading of scripts and “planned” clothing line hitting the stores.
This whole reunion show didn’t need a part two. So very wack. Watching it worked better than Ambien.

I really think that NENE was in big trouble with the choking and all. Sounds like they made a pack. I wouldn’t talk about you if you don’t talk about me. Kim is so stupid that she agreed. I have a feeling that the truth would have really hurt NeNe. I mean she met married Greg while stripping at a club. She was dating Greg while he was married!! My biggest problem is how Nene talks about Kim’s wig when she wears one too. Hers is glued on!!! I’m not watching anymore if Nene is still there!!!!

In my opinion Kandi is not being truthful to Kim and she is not a friend. Kim cannot SING she is a hot mess and she looks like a total ass. The only thing good about the song is the beat. Simon from American Idols would have sent Kim home the first day. And I’m not being a hater just telling the truth. Lisa and Nene love you guys and Sheree you too. I wish you guys much success. I thought Kandi was the most real and loved her song. Lisa is a bit full of herself, I did think Dwight was classy and his comments about Lisa hiding behind her hair were true. Did anyone notice that Nene never said “BAM” once this season. I had to mute my sound when Kim did her song.

The RH Reunion this year was a snooze fest compared to last year’s reunion. I was waiting to see Kim and NeNe get into it and also waiting for Lisa to flip Kim over the couch like she threatened last year! This time around it seemed as though Bravo had something to do with this mellowed down version of the housewives. I really believe that; there was “supposed” to be a lawsuit between Kim and NeNe due to NeNe allegedly choking Kim a few months back. Bravo may have told them to cool it, which could be why everyone was acting very peculiar for the reunion this year. I also felt that Lisa was holding back a lot and it seemed as though she wanted to slap the s*** out of Kim! I wish she had! Kim cannot sing, that much is apparent, and while Kandi is very likeable and successful, I prefer her as a songwriter, but to each his own. I don’t believe for one seocnd that Kim and NeNe are done with the fights and arguments. They will get into it again, but whether or not the public will know about it is unbeknownst to any of us. The good thing is that for once, the ladies seemed to act classy, but why be fake? I know that there is discord among them, but whether we will see it again, who knows?

The important thing is that you had fun. But you seriously need to let Kandi be the singer of the bunch! Not your calling!!

I’ll say it again. All you people want to do is bitch and moan! First they are ghetto and a horrible example for Atlanta. But, when they tone it done and behave like respectable ladies, they are boring and not being REAL! Make up you minds. You want drama which equals GHETTO or you want ladies which equals SUBDUED and yes, BORING!!
For me personally, I like the drama. It makes for great tv. I don’t watch the show then take to post complaining about it!
However, my take on the show last night. I was very disappointed, because I felt they were acting for the cameras. I think the comments about them being too ghetto and a bad look for Atlanta has affected them. (As it would any person.) So, there was a lot of acting and evading the questions that would create drama. The tension was there, but they were holding back. Would love to see them all next season as themselves and not in these new boring acting roles!

Love, love Dwight he always keeps it real. And yes, he has admitted to having his penis enlarged, his cheek bones done, and re-doing his nose!
@mike r. As for the comment about the Orange County housewives and Nene. I watched them for the first time last night. Nene would rip every one of them a New A**hole! They have real money not tough skin! They are way too dainty for Nene style drama! :)

I guess I am naive, but I agree with others who have posted about Bravo having something to do with the snoozefest. Of course these women probably don’t hang out in real life. But the change in Nene since last season and Lisa’s comment “I’m gonna flip you over the couch”. So to me something is fishy here. While Dwight is a bit feminine, I still think he’s a good addition to the show. Good have done without seeing him in that getup he wore to run down the street in heels.

In regards to Kim’s comments about being a waitress at the Cheetah, as a former assist.manager for ten years at the Cheetah, I do not remember Ms. Zolciak as an employee dancer or waitress, yet I was only there for ten years, and she may have come after my tenure, and if she did, she would definitely have to have been a waitress for she would have definitely been “Too Old” looking to be a stripper, and yes, even strip clubs have “standards” by which all dancers are measured. She looks more like a “Gold Club” stripper reject to someone actually familiar with the industry.

Not to sound as if I’m disappointed not, I think this is a regroup damage control, these ladies have checked themselves and realize it’s not working. So how do you get right you become humble go behind the doors and come out fighting. I think season 3 will have a lot to offer us if we give it a chance, but it will be up to the ladies and maketing. We must all remember this is entertainment. I think NeNe needs to be true to herself she just ol country girl from Athens,GA. don’t be shame claim it. Lisa you could be a force to reckon with but because you try and be the one always politicaly correct it’s not working. Honestly I think Sheree could be replaced she is hood/ghetto but maybe that is what keeps the show interesting. Kim is Kim I must say she probably is more closer to being realy than any of them with the exception of Khandi. But next season surely we will get a chance to see Lisa new home that she down sized to I know it’s beautiful all of that land( Lisa you should have horses). Where Kim and Big Poppa stand and how her wig business is going, if Sheree is still around her fashions, exercise video by the time season 3 comes around she might be “the incredible hulk Sheree”. Khandi to find out about her music how she is doing with Capitol Records, and her new clothing store. NeNe also mentioned she would like to get into acting I don’t think so boo you too Old bam! But you can definitely do extra and from my understanding it pays well or you may actually luck up I do wish you well. I will miss my Thursday night with you ladies it’s been a real ride so now I will have to go back watching whatever but I will tell you this RHOOC I can’t get into them now them ladies or some cut throats, in the words of NeNe them some low down dirty Monkeys. “Smooches”

What you heard is probably correct. Kandi said in an AJC interview while showing pics of her home that the other ladies were upset about the way that Bravo portrayed them so they were making it a point to “be Mother Theresas”. To me it does seem like all of them minus Kandi (who has behaved just fine all season) had made some sort of pact to not take any of Andy Cohen’s bait on the reunion show. I personally hope there is a whole new cast for Season 3 with only Kandi and maybe Lisa staying on.

I will never watch another episode of this show again!!!! First season was great but this season OMG!!! Nene is as fake as it get TV have went to her head.!!! Lisa has no fashion sense what so ever and Sheree need to be thanking Dwight for helping her with the show. Kim dumb as they get…that wig is hurting her brain!!! How are you going to say that you weren’t making out with the guy and they have it on TAPE!!!! Dumb Axx. Kandi was the only one that have class!!! First of all, they had on extremly too much make-up and they all looked a hot mess because of it. Dwight’s make-up looked better than the others and that’s bad because he’s a man. Kim has had some work done to her face and it is very noticeable because it wasn’t done very well. She needs to find another surgeon and fast! These ladies are really fake, so much so until I thought that I would just puke on the floor. Kandi, please run for dear life because you really don’t want to be associated with this trainwreck of a show.

I agree with Not so Shocked, Kim has had face work done that made her look like she gained two pounds. The reunion was HORRIBLE, NeNe wants an acting job somewhere so she was trying to be good instead of her usual trash mouth self. Kandi is about the only real person on the show and that’s because she has a talent. We should get Shree a job rolling her eyes that’s all she did. GET RID OF THE SHOW.

For everyone that watched the show, let me ask…what did you expect to get out of the show? If you expected to be educated or uplifted, go to the library or go to church. This show was designed to drive ratings whether the women were portrayed accurately or not.

Kandi is awesome. She is the epitome of an authentic, strong Black woman. She doesnt try to hide her flaws or uphold a pretentious image.

The more you try to hide it, the more it shows, NeNe.
