Which ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ should stay or go?

Who would you most like to see leave "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for season three?

This Thursday and next Thursday, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will rehash the hair pulling, petty arguments and misunderstandings over two hours of reunion shows. Last year’s was quite a blockbuster when Lisa Wu Hartwell threatened physical violence on Kim Zolciak and Kim and NeNe Leakes exchanged nasty comments about their sexual predilections. We’re expecting more shenanigans this time around. Heck, we’ll be disappointed if there wasn’t a fair share of insults and name hurling.

Now the big question. Who should stay and who should go for season three? I expect the producers will want to sub out at least one lady just to change the dynamics again. I mean, there are only so many ways Kim and NeNe can go at it, eh?

Here are my odds on who will stay and who won’t:

NeNe Leakes: she is the Queen Bee of this group, the one who has best taken advantage of her fame so far from the show. She was probably the most popular housewife last season but her likability has taken a hit this season thanks to her pointless arguments with Kandi Burruss and that choking incident with Kim. There has been rumors of her doing a spinoff but I expect she will stay, though she may demand so much more money, Bravo might turn red. Odds of her leaving: 8-1

Kim Zolciak: She remains a quixotic figure, the only one who spends with abandon and has a strange on-and-off-again relationship with Big Poppa. She is suitably outrageous and while not likable, certainly fascinating to watch along the lines of a seven-car pileup on I-75. Her options, given how people perceive her, are not as broad or deep as NeNe’s. I expect she’ll re-sign though given how broken her relationship with NeNe is, this could cause complications. Then again, as long as the two are willing to converse, Bravo is gambling on MORE drama. Odds of her leaving: 7-1

Kandi Burruss: As the newest member of the crew, she’s a vast improvement over DeShawn Snow in terms of entertainment. She is a successful artist/songwriter and has built a healthy fan base with her level-headedness and smarts. Her bugaboo was dealing with A.J. and her mom, which was a great storyline that is unfortunately over. She is someone I’m sure Bravo would like back given her credibility and the sympathy factor. It’s ultimately up to Kandi if she thinks the spotlight is worth it and will continue to help her jumpstart her singing career. Odds of her leaving: 5-1

Lisa Wu Hartwell. She showed a bit more moxie this season, throwing in several funny bon mots, even though she was seldom in the middle of any of the key drama. Her snarky notes about Sheree were especially amusing. Though she has plenty of side businesses, she seems happily ensconced in RHOA land as long as Bravo wants her. Odds of her leaving: 3-1.

Sheree Whitfield. She came across a bit more relatable this time around vs. season one but as Lisa said, she can be a bit cold and calculating. She was the center of some of the major drama and she needs the show to help generate income and publicity for her She By Sheree line, income she needs post divorce. But I’m sure she’d be happy to hit the exits if she could find the right opportunity – or if Bravo finds fresh blood. Odds of her leaving: 2-1

Ratings for the final episode last Thursday, by the way, were about 3 million viewers. That’s only slightly above the average but solid nontheless.

In other RHOA news, the attorney repping the man accused of killing Ashley “A.J.” Jewell said he may have the charges dropped after news that Jewell may have suffered from sickle cell anemia.

And check out Kandi’s new boutique here.

The final episode was a hot HILARIOUS mess! While Sheree’s clothing line was classic it also was revamped 1980s styles…nothing NEW or unique. I DO believe her fashion show and clothing line was overall BETTER than Kim’s. SHE should be cast off the show next season, she’s played OUT. NeNe definitely is the ring leader. That woman is FULL of hatred and has such a BIG MOUTH. I don’t know HOW her husband puts up with her or her ways. Lisa plays a mean game of dodge ball. If Kandi would stop twisting and contorting her face she definitely would become a show favorite. Kim is the gold digger! She even has HER CHILDREN hyped about what BP can do for all of them.
I think every one of them are Grade A DRAMA Queens. They all talk about each other BEHIND the others back and if THAT is what being friends is like in Atlanta…I will happily remain in Maryland.

What a bunch of trash “Housewives” is. You people are pathetic. I’d love to meet your kids. A whole bunch of Einsteins, I’m sure.

AJC sends me surveys about how they can make their on-line paper better. I keep telling them to take any reference to the “Housewives of Atlanta” show off of their home page. I guess they just can’t keep from pandering to the lowest common denominator. Looks like it’s back to the LAT, WP, and NYT for me.

Personally, they can all go…except for maybe Kandi. Oh and Dwight. Actually, just have a spin-off featuring Dwight and Kandi’s mom. That I’ll watch. :)

Each week the comments re the RHOA amaze me. For those of you who say RHOA is an embarrassment to Atlanta, do you watch the news? The crime rate in Atlanta is the embarrassment! Crime is real! This show, a fabrication! Nene is the entertainment factor on RHOA, without her this show would be canceled! I would say Nene is the smartest housewife on this show, she has taken a small role and turned herself into a national name. Although notoriously so, she is the most widely recognized of all the housewife franchise so give her credit for giving the public what they secretly want, “drama”! Bring it on Nene Leakes, do you!

I would like for Kandi to not return next season. I like Kandi, and as some of you said, this show is not for her. Move on Ms. Burris, take your career to the next level! Don’t let Bravo capitalize on your behalf and turn you into something you are not.

As far as Kim, Sheree and Lisa, they are the remaining formula that makes RHOA the success that it is, they are all necessary. I agree with someone earlier who said Tameka Raymond would be great. I agree, after hearing her interview on V-103, fabrication probably comes easy to her. Just my two cents!

NeNe is too LOUD AND HOODIFIED. She uses too much profanity for a lady. This woman is trying to be high classed but has no clue because she is low lifed. She is an insult to Atlanta and to the culture of most women here. Why not feature the educated housewives of the city, not the “few dollars more for a minute” crew?

I hope Ms. Norwood wins the Atlanta mayor race, then we women can request a reverse of the show’s theme and air it with more respectful women of Atlanta!!! We need a positive show not a negative one!!!! Bravo, please go away!!!!

First of all, this is just a show. The problem is that the show is called “Housewives” in which all of them are not. Bravo has made more money from the Atlanta series than any other…and so there’s the hate. Obviously, the concept was all wrong when single women were put into the pot (okay, maybe engaged @ the time). Why do we dislike these women from Atlanta so much, when there is just as much drama, jealousy, envy, and not the least, intrigue as the other “Housewives’” series. I like NeNe. She is a housewife and trying to do something positive for someone other than herself. I like Lisa. There is a storyline with her and Ed. Again, a housewife. Kandi, I believe was a great move by Bravo. She was a potential (engaged) housewife, plus another great storyline with revamping her career. My prayers to Kandi & AJ’s family. Ex-Housewives should have their own show and should emphasize on rebuilding, perhaps, growing from the past, and maybe being a “Housewife” again. Sorry Sheree, hooray for fashion, but your time is up…GOODBYE! I believe that having Kim on the show was cool, but she needs to go before the endangerment of lives play out on the show. We all know what happens when real wives go mad. AGAIN, WHY AREN’T YOU ALL COMMENTING ON THE HOUSEWIVES OF “OC”, “NY”, OR “NJ”…JUST AS BAD!!!

Kim should go, they don’t have a black housewife on the other housewife shows; why have a white one on this. We need all black housewives from the ATL…there’s your drama! NeNe is the only reason everyone tunes in, Bravo would make a terrible mistake by replacing NeNe unless they gave her a show of her own…and I would be tuning in! Love you NeNe!!!

SheMan should go and take her lesbian lover Tania with her. I can’t stand to watch those two pretend to be just friends. On the other hand, Dwight, Tracy, Derek J and Michael should have their own show. It’s time for Bravo to capitalize on the obvious ratings winner.

looks to me that there is alot of hating going on. half you all are probably low budget living people who don’t have a life. i love the show it’s just like the rest of the housewives shows. only a hand full of them or married. funny maybe you all need to find a job or meet somebody who doesn’t care about spending money. p.s. from a hard working married women. smoochies.

Atlanta Metro Women – Whenever you see Sheree anywhere near you or even in the same place as you be sure to hold your purse with two hands and never put it on the back of your chair! Let them all go, who needs this drama! Kandi is the only sensible one on the show. And what housewifes? They are not the normal housewife of Atlanta, and making Atlanta look so rich…BS. None of them are rich! They have all lost houses or husbands. Show some drama at the soccer field, not the BS on this show. And Nene -shut up for once!

I think they should all go. They are a disgrace to all intelligent, hardworking, responsible, upstanding, non-gold digging women of Atlanta. And no I do not watch the show because I do not agree with the way these women conduct themselves. I read the article to see if there were replacements that would show women of Atlanta in a better light.

This show and others like it, are probably an embarrassment to anyone with any intelligence. It is an embarrassment to this city and these women are classless or they would not be doing the show, regardless of how much money they may be making from it. They throw money around but anyone with real money and class, would never put it out into the public eye as a badge of status.

Kim needs to go, quickly, and tarred and feathered. Ok she doesn’t deserve the time to tar and feather but get rid of her. She is not a wife, does not pay her mortgage, car payments, clothes, nada it seems. Oh sure maybe she might start soon with her wig????? Except if I am getting a wig ….well come on, I would not look at her line since what she wears is ugly, and for a day only. However I smell another personal employee for her house coming up. I mean if you need a personal assistant, nanny, and a guy who sews her micro clothes to go on her macro body well. Maybe a driver, or one for each car. When she was “engaged” to a married man, I read that she got a personal chef. Nothing about her is real, housewife, seems the only part applied to her in this show is the fact she is in Atlanta. A recent interview she said she wanted to find someone who shares her same morals, how about a true blue bonafide pimp. Or a bulldozer since they can both destroy homes. Drop her like a hot potato. If she stays I will only watch with fast forward only to stop and watch Dwight. Love Dwight. Maybe he needs the spin off. The rest I actually like. But get rid of Kim sleeziack. More Dwight!

It’s amazing that there’s only one of them that has earned any money on her own. Kandi is by far and away the class of the show. She made money at a young age, spent it wisely, and works hard to make herself a better woman. None of the rest of them would be anywhere if they hadn’t married into money, and that includes Lisa. But, the show is great, I love watching this trainwreck on a weekly basis.

I lived in Atlanta for ten years before gladly leaving. I can attest that the women on this show are a excellent representation of Atlanta women. Not all, but most!

Kim: Desperate for a man and will do anything to say she has one. (Half the women in Atlanta are sharing their man and know it! At least Kim’s man has money and takes care of her! Unlike most in Atlanta!)

Nene: Ghetto ex-stripper! Walk down any street of Atlanta and find one woman who hasn’t been on a pole for money! Good luck, you will have a long day trying to find her!

Sheree: Thinks she is cuter and classier than she really is and thinks her life can’t function without a man! Most Atlanta women are walking around with bad weaves and too much make-up trying to find a MAN!

Lisa: She represents 1% of the Atlanta population that is happily married and trying to keep it that way.

Kandi: A single Mom making it big on her own. But, has real bad taste in men. Typical Atlanta woman. Allowing the thought of being alone skew their taste in men. They will settle for any man just for the sake of saying they have a man! Good, bad, or ugly! And they don’t have to have a job. She will happily support him, all his kids, and the baby momma’S too!

I went to high school with NeNe in Athens – we graduated in 1985. I have to say she hasn’t changed one bit in the past 25 years. She was always fighting, loud, and getting into trouble. I distictly remember one fight where she pulled the girl’s hair out. Then during another fight she had her weave yanked out and we all laughed. She had no hair then.
