I WORKED WITH MR TOWNSEND ON THE PILOT THUG ANGLES FOR THE BLACK FAMILY CHANNEL AND I WAS CRUSHED TO KNOW THAT IT WOULD’NT MANIFEST. HE IS BRILLIANT AND I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH HIM SOONER THAN LATER. HOORAY MR. TOWNSEND.

I loved the show I cried like a baby. Keep up the work Mr. Townsend this is the kind of TV show we need. Is this one time only or will it be on a regular basis?

I must say this is the best theatrical productions I have seem in my life. Mr. Robert Townsend, your work is what the world needs to see more of.It was such a postive,spiritual,and message of hope for me.I pray that God will continue to bless your work as you share it with others.

I’ve watched the Musical Theater of Hope twice back-to-back and I think it is one of the best theatrical productions to come along in a long time. I agree with Regina above, Robert Townsend is an unappreciated talent who is far, far ahead of his time. I consider The Five Heartbeats one of the best movies ever made. A message to Robert Townsend…you keep the faith brother. Don’t be a sell out. God will continue to bless you with talent and an audience like me that appreciates your talent. I work with the Newark Public Schools in NJ and I’m sorry I missed you when you came to Barringer High School.

An outstanding program that really grabbed me. The irony of “David’s News” was particularly touching. I sat there with tears rolling down my cheeks, going through my life’s memories and praying that I would also look at life and death with the spirit exhibited by David. Although I don’t watch much TV, It is too bad that this type of programming isn’t on TV more instead of what is – a must see for our politicians in Washington!!! Keep it up, Robert!!!!!
