Three notable shows are back this week.

ABC’s “Ugly Betty” gets bumped to Fridays after losing significant steam last season.

NBC’s “30 Rock,” another Emmy in tow, returns Thursday for its fourth season with the recession forcing Jack to make tough decisions.

And FX’s once buzz-worthy “Nip/Tuck” gets its final cut Wednesday night with Sean suffering from insomnia and Christian psyched to just be alive. Rose McGowan guests as Sean’s girlfriend.

i’m pulling for kevin and his messed up wrist. he ’single handedly’ (haha) pulled that crew through many services. far as ’survivor’ goes, i’m kinda liking russell and his evil self. j’son has nothing more to give since playing the race card a couple weeks back, sad to say. i think ‘ugly betty’ has run its course, but an aged show that’s getting better and better is ‘house.’ and what gives, rodney – no mention of ‘fringe’? that’s another show that’s getting better every week!
