The broadcast networks have almost finished debuting all their new shows and we’re already seeing winners (”NCIS: Los Angeles,” “The Good Wife,” “Modern Family”) and losers (”Brothers,” “Mercy”).
For many shows which have only aired one or two episodes, networks will see if folks sampling their wares will stick around.
For existing shows, there are a few cool guest stars such as James Earl Jones on “House” Monday and UGA grad Wayne Knight of “Seinfeld” fame on “CSI” Thursday. Plus, Jim and a pregnant Pam tie the knot on an hour-long “Office” Thursday.
And Sherri Shepherd of “The View” plays a sitcom version of herself all week long on Lifetime, which is inexplicably airing the show at 7 p.m. while Mo’Nique takes BET by storm with a new nightly talk show starting at 11 p.m., shot right here in Atlanta.
MONDAY
“Imus in the Morning” 6 a.m. Fox Business Network (new show) – Don Imus is now being simulcast on the network and he’ll add more business news to his show.
“Sherri” 7 p.m. Lifetime (new series) — Sherri Shepherd plays a sitcom version of herself, and sadly, it’s very been there, done that.
“Dancing With the Stars” 8 p.m. ABC — No loss with Kathy Ireland gone last week. And Kelly Osbourne may need counseling as well as dancing lessons.
“House” 8 p.m. Fox — James Earl Jones plays a merciless dictator with a disease.
“How I Met Your Mother” 8 p.m. CBS — Barney is actually dating Robin and it’s… strange.
“Outrage” 9 p.m. HBO — A look at gay politicians who vote against gay marriage and AIDS research.
“Big Bang Theory” 9:30 p.m. CBS — This show has become a huge hit, drawing 13 million last week. Sheldon tries to change Penny’s behavior via chocolate.
TUESDAY
“30 For 30” 8 p.m. ESPN (new series) — Documentaries based on moments in sports to celebrate ESPN’s 30 years on the air. Tonight, it’s about the Gretzky trade to Los Angeles.
“NCIS” 8 p.m. CBS— A blogger who accuses the team of a cover up is found dead.
“Dirty Jobs” 9p.m. Discovery (sixth season debut) — Mike Rowe becomes a mattress recycler.
“Scare Tactics” 9 p.m. SyFy (third season debut) — A formerly conjoined twin demands reattachment. Tracy Morgan again hosts.
“Dancing With the Stars” 9 p.m. ABC — With 13 couples becoming 12, can Tom DeLay delay his inevitable departure?
“Sons of Anarchy” 10 p.m. FX — The League finds new ways to upset Charming in a show that has become a big hit for FX.
WEDNESDAY
“So You Think You Can Dance” 8 p.m. Fox — Auditions (including one in Atlanta) are over. On to Vegas, baby!
“The Middle” 8:30 p.m. ABC — Selling cars isn’t so easy so Frankie organizes a stunt involving a vehicle packed with jelly beans.
“Glee” 9 p.m. Fox — Will challenges the club to a boys/girls competition while his wife becomes the school nurse to keep an eye on him.
“Criminal Minds” 9 p.m. CBS — The team investigates a murder in Rossi’s hometown.
“Law & Order: SVU” 9 p.m. NBC — Guest star Stephen Rea plays a suspect in a mssing woman’s case.
“South Park” 10 p.m. Comedy (13th season debut) — Believe it or not, this is episode 189.
“Secret Girlfriend” 11 p.m. Comedy (new series) —A single guy parties hard with his buds.
THURSDAY
“Bones,” 8 p.m. Fox – There goes the neighborhood indeed. Remains are found at a neighborbhood block party.
“Community,” 8 p.m. NBC (new time slot) – Jeff and Shirley bond over gossip.
“Survivor: Samoa,” 8 p.m. CBS – So far, Russell’s devious manipulations are working to a tee while his team gets decimated.
“Flash Forward,” 8 p.m. ABC – Mark and Janis meet with an imprisoned Nazi who claims to know about the blackouts.
“CSI,” 9 p.m. CBS – Wayne Knight (Newman from “Seinfeld”) guests.
“The Office,” 9 p.m. NBC (back-to-back new episodes) – Jim and Pam finally get hitched in Niagara Falls.
FRIDAY
“Brothers,” 8 p.m. Fox – Mike and Chill hire cousin Kenny (played by Snoop Dogg) to help Mike recover his laundered assets.
“Ghost Whisperer,” 8 p.m. CBS – Eli’s father suffers a heart attack, triggering a reunion with his dead wife.
“Law & Order,” 8 p.m. NBC – A kidnapping turns into a broader terrorist investigation.
“Til Death,” 8:30 FOX – Sick of each other’s sleep habits, Joy and Eddie opt for separate beds.
“Monk,” 9 p.m. USA – Natalie tries to hold a surprise birthday party for Monk. Good luck!
“Stargate Universe,” 9 p.m. SyFy – With the air supply failing on the Destiny, a team seeks a mineral that scrubs the ship’s air of carbon dioxide.
WEEKEND
“Megafault,” 9 p.m. Saturday SyFy – A huge earthquake threatens the entire United States. Brittany Murphy and Eriq LaSalle star.
“Wanda Sykes: I’ma Be Me,” 10 p.m. Saturday HBO – If you haven’t seen her in concert, she’s worth laughing with here.
“Saturday Night Live,” 11:29 p.m. Saturday NBC – Drew Barrymore is back to promote “Whip It.”
“Drop Dead Diva,” 9 p.m. Sunday Lifetime (first season finale) – Paula Abdul comes back as a guest.
“Army Wives,” 10 p.m. Sunday Lifetime (third season finale) – Pamela reaches a breaking point in her marriage.
“The Girls Next Door,” 10:30 p.m. Sunday E! (sixth season debut) – Meet the new Hef girls Kristina and Karissa. And no, it’s not creepy. Okay, just a little creepy.

Hey Rodney, any repectiable stats back on Trauma or is it pretty much going to flatline after 1 season. I noticed that the pilot was being aired on Oxygen and USA this week. I’m guessing those are NBC owned they were shopping the show around just in case. Anyway, love the articles and have a good week.
