Mediatakeout.com, which is very aggressive on anything RHOA related, talked to witnesses about the fight between Ashley “A.J.” Jewell and Fredrick Richardson Friday night. The Web site says the argument was over a stripper both were possibly dating. True or not, Jewell is dead and Richardson is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
(UPDATE: Later on Monday, the cops said the fight may have been over business, not a woman. MTO as of Tuesday morning has yet to update its item.)
And Kandi Burruss, A.J.’s former fiance featured on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” wrote a note to www.hellobeautiful.com noting how much she cared for A.J. and how uncomfortable he was about doing the TV show (which was clearly in evidence the few times he was seen.)
In the meantime, Monday morning, Rachelle Savoia, the Bravo spokeswoman who handles “Real Housewives of Atlanta” could provide me no new information regarding what impact this death may have on the final three episodes of the show or the reunion taping, which is set for Wednesday. Presumably, the producers are still making decisions and have yet to disseminate anything of substance to the publicist. Promos and trailers on Bravo have not been changed or curtailed.
The network could try to tape the reunion without Kandi on Wednesday but would A.J.’s death put a damper on the silly arguments the other four are likely to engender?
And I’ve stopped commenting on this entry. It’s generating too much junk.
