I loved how Kim was shown walking around the pool area at the start of the episode with no limp to be seen, yet she has to come hobbling in to Sheree’s party on crutches. Anything to garner sympathy or be the center of attention!

I am not a sociologist.However, the antics of these women captivates me. It’s not the animated behavior,nor the potty mouth interaction. What holds my attention is the inflated esteem these women hold for themselves. It transcends across the airwaves. All of them believe themselves to be educated elite aristocrats while simultaneously holding breath taking careers. A self appointed caste system of middle class African American women along with the long suffering Zolciak. Bravo has outdone themselves assembling this cast of delusional misfits.

What has happened to these women, especially NeNe, “the socialite.” In my opinion, Kandi should have left as soon as she saw that stupid look on NeNe’s face. There is no way I would be caught dead anywhere around NeNe-Zilla. Sheray, finally has a monument to her self to worship. What really would be nice would be for NeNe and Sheray’s girlfriend Tania to wrestle for charity, Tania acts like she wants a piece of NeNe. I believe Bravo is irresponsible for casting ‘Kim the adulter’ especially since minor children are involved. I don’t know why Kim thinks that woman’s husband is going to leave home for her when he is using his marriage as an excuse to avoid making a commitment to anyone other than those he is already committed to like his wife and children. Lisa tires me out one upping the competition or justifying why and what she is doing, just do your ‘individual’ thing and keep moving. Well until next week’s episode of the ego show!!

I would like to say that the Housewives of Atlanta represent themselves not Atlanta!!!! Out of the 5 how many are really from Atlanta or Georgia at all with the exception of Kandi. Last nights episode was the worst by far . I felt so bad watching this show and seeing how NeNe a grown woman seem to instigate an argument at two women at someone elses party .
If they needed to discuss that it was not the time nor the place they could have gone to the parking lot to talk argue pull wigs whatever they wanted to do . But i do appreciate how Sheree so self absorbed was loving the attention se got she did not know .

Did you all see her kids they looked neglected the little girl looks sad she did not even look @sheree when she left and the little girls hair a hot mess kids pick on other kids about their hair , she spent X amount of dollars and hours making sure her hair is perfect why cant she do that for your Daughter ? This woman does not get it she keeps this up she is going to grow even older with no one but that big ass picture of herself to hug and kiss.

Tyson was right She needs to invest some money she is spending on a education a a Fashion design school because she has nothing as far as training in this industry, she’s not a puffy , Kimora, or beyonce after acertain amount of dollars education don’t cone into play as much .

That is what is going to happen to you as well even if your book does well it may have done better because i know a lot of people lost love for you last night .

I can’t believe that last night’s episode played out the way that it did? Could someone please tell me who told NeNe that she was the alpha dog of the bunch? She plays a major role in the show but not a positive one. She has shown herself to be very controlling, jealous, arrogant, vindicitve and not to mention a bully. Sheree could have saved that money that she paid for the picture and for the pointless party celebrating her independance. Kim might have her issues but I think that they are far less complicated than some of the others on the show. Lisa, is really not worth mentioning because she feels slighted if she is not recognized or the center of attention as well. Kandi, please run and run like heck!

Unfortunately, this is probably not the last season for this show but hopefully the entire cast, excluding Kandi is replaced.

Live in ATL, have never seen the show but family up North loves it. They think Atlanta must be full of this trash and that these people represent my wonderful neighbors. Got on here to see what the hype was all about. Just to throw it out there for anyone not from Atlanta reading this blog, where are these people? Certainly not associated with any of the schools, communities, volunteer efforts we’re associated with all over Atlanta. They’re a disgrace in every way, shape & form and an embarrassment to our city. Bravo should have the “housewives” spend an episode working with the truly classy Atlanta ladies volunteering many hours to feed the homeless, take care of kids in shelters so their mom’s can look for work, etc. These woman should be ashamed at the example they are setting for their children.

NeNe…come on I had the pleasure of meeting you about a year ago @ Sak and I thought that you were great…..a keep it real type of woman, but last night I was so disappointed in how you acted like Tardy for the Party would not make it without you! Everyone knows how Kim is you should just let her hang herself cause she will TRUST!!!!! Bravo has done a terrific job of scripting this show and setting up conflicts. In NeNe they have created the leading narcissist (although all the women are – except perhaps Kandi). And they have allowed her to be the aggressor in the series. It is clear these women were not friends before the show and probably aren’t now. There are lots of stupid get-togethers that are supposed to imply that they are friends, like Lisa talking with Kandi at Kandi’s house, and they could just have easily have had a phone call (that doesn’t make for good television, though).

As for Sheree’s portrait, what’s the big deal? Doesn’t everyone have a monster size portrait of themselves? Her ego is staggering – and where she is getting the money for her escapades is a puzzle in itself. According to Rossin’s web site, he paints “Contemporary portraits starting at $25,000 for a 30″ x 30″ painting.” So imagine how much that monster cost! She has people like Rossin stroking her ego with “princess” comments. Again – most likely a Bravo set-up. Oh, I forgot, though, that people are jealous of her success. So far she is very successful at spending money and acting like she has it. So I guess I’m jealous.

Kim is absolutely amazing. She dresses like a hooker and acts the same. Her daughters are indulged beyond belief (unless it is for the camera) – letting them stay up late and eating food that will allow them to get even fatter than they are. She has driven a Bentley convertible in past shows, and I wonder how she got it and where it was last night when they had the shot of her townhouse (not a big deal place) with the SUV in front. She either has a lot of money (family, etc.) or is getting money from men (although Bravo is probably paying at least $10k a show). Let’s see – if she gets money from men – Big Pappa or other – what does that make her?

Kandi is the star – and rightly so. Her performance in the monologue was amazing. She seems cool and generally unflappable, even in the face of NeNe’s aggressive attack. I just wish she would learn grammar (forgive an old white guy for preferring somewhat proper grammar). This show could actually help her career – and she deserves good things to happen. Her choice in men is questionable, but that’s another topic.

NeNe – she is out of control. A book!?! Give me a break. I saw it in Costco and was stunned. Again, a Bravo thing to pump the show. Her house is empty. All the camera angles are set so you can’t see the barren walls and empty rooms. Her “co-author” is just now (in show-time) learning what will be in the book. I just can’t wait to spend my money to learn about her youth in Athens, GA. Should be exciting. Perhaps the book is a “tell all”. I’ll wait for the Cliff’s notes on it. So clearly she is being propped up by Bravo. And that has gone straight to her ego. I used to think she was really “real” – but now I don’t. I feel sorry for her and her husband. They obviously don’t have money (there’s no crime in that) and they are living a fake life. I would take any bet that her ring is a Cubic Zerconia (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Not having money is more the norm now-a-days, but acting like you do is another story.

OK – now I look forward to comments. I hope people will keep race out of it. This show is about five (or more) people and is as scripted and any sitcom. It is no more reality than Seinfeld.

I was a huge fan of NeNe’s but not anymore she want’s to be the center of attention and she is doing it the wrong way. NeNe you already tall and big and loud spoken you don’t have to bring attention to yourself you are the first seen when you are with the other ladies you stand over them like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You should be more lady like, I truly hope you try and find some etiquette some where cause honey you need it. As far as Lisa she’s still an ok and gorgeous looking woman, just stay away from that messy stuff dealing with Kim, NeNe, and Sheree sometimes. Lisa you’re almost just like Kandi down to earth person, but don’t push my buttons cuz you can get on that other level. I love the show, not because it is real, but it is entertaining. After the floods in Atlanta, loss of life, loss of homes, war in Afghanistan, loss of jobs, need I go on? I just want to get out of the real world for an hour and watch this crazy, ghetto, self-obsorbed, jealous, envious catshow with RHOA. It’s just entertainment people, I just like to see where they film in Atlanta & if I have ever visited these spots that they are putting on the map. People liken up, it makes you live longer & just have some fun sometimes. If I think about all the bad, sad & evil in the world I would be on meds for depression. Live & let live. I think she looks drag queenish at times-pershaps the over use of steroids?? And there was something odd about the portrait, especially around the eyes.

NeNe was soo wrong on last night’s episode; she has truly become full of herself; she was my fav last season; the little taste of fame has gone to her head. And why is she soo jealous of everyone!!, she talks badly about all the casts members; if she feels someone else is in the limelight she starts throwing “shade”(to use her word) all over them. You were always ghetto, but now you have graduated to a “HOT Ghetto MESS”. Greg I think you are cool though, I love your persona.

I think Dwight talked about Lisa’s fashion show only because she did not ask him to be involved in it. He and Sheree could be twins with their over-inflated sense of worth.

I thought Lisa’s show was nice and apparently so did Dwight; the only thing he could find fault with was the hem lines-who could possible see the hem lines in muted lighting, and most importantly, who cares?? It was not the finished product anyway, just a peek at what’s to come. I especially loved the purple jumpsuit Lisa wore; Sheree was just green with envy because she has never been able to pull a show off. It cracked me up when her manager/agent-whateva said Mercedes thought her event was getting too ‘big’; they tried to spin it to make viewers think her vision was even more grand than what Mercedes could deliver/can you say “delusional”, lol.

Kim, I listened to the song “Tardy for the Party” on Bravo.com; it’s really catchy; I’ll buy it!

Khandi, keep on being you-girl, you have more class than all of them put together, and you are multi-talented; I have a new-found appreciation for you as a producer after seeing what you were able to do with Kim’s song; that was nothing short of a miracle:)

I watched the show last night was very tired so if Kandi had some mishpas with her english I missed. Kandi has a very monitone voice so when she speaks it’s like she is talking into her chest and it sometimes makes it hard to understand her but didn’t get the english thing as why she needs to learn it. I think very few people use english correctly word for word. Love watching RHOA I couldn
‘t even watch the 2nd half of Grey’s Anatomy. I do realize this is entertainment but what gets me is how low will you go for money right not it’s not that bad and hope it want get any worse for my favorites as I stated started out a NeNe fan but in the last episodes have been really disappointed in her, I think she thinks it should be called the NeNe show featuring her sidekicks. “Smooches”

Just a few notes here. At the unveiling after Kim fell and complained that she couldn’t walk, we see her walking to her car without a limp or anything. Then moaning and groaning about how she couldn’t walk. DRAMA!!
Kim mentioned that she was a nurse when she hooked up with Papa. In early shows she stated that they had been together for seven months. Kim’s nursing license hasn’t been renewed since 1993. Timelines don’t add up Kim!
Sheree stated that her “Independence Party” was women only, yet they showed several men(?) or should I say males at her party. And Lawrence’s gift to Sheree was a stripper? Totally inappropriate!

I have to keep reminding myself that this is just tv. But how much of it is acting??? As most of you agree, Kandi is the realest and most drama free. She seems to be a genuine friend and I like that she has taken Kim under her wing. Kim would really be a good friend but NeNe was never a TRUE friend so that’s when the drama came in between them. I used to love Nene but she is such a jealous hearted woman. And the audacity of her to call Kandi ghetto. They both have that southern twang but Kandi is far from ghetto. Nene is the one that acts like she is straight from the projects and lucked up on Greg. Poor Greg cuz he seems so sweet. Although I don’t condone it, why does everyone act like Kim is the only mistress on Earth??? And the ones I have seen are not rolling Bentley Coupes or buying $10K rings at just an urge. Typical Sheree for you. I really used to like Lisa but I have a question mark on her now. She seems to feed into the mess more and more. She is a beautiful woman and has a good business mind though. I am still claiming that I don’t watch the show… But I do… Hence my online name. However, I did see last nights’ segment. I think the real reason Kim doesn’t want Ne Ne on the song dates back to the episode when she had her “wig” party and Ne Ne put on the wig and overdid her impersonation of Kim. In fact, the more she did it, the more you knew Ne Ne was mocking her. I’m sure the editing played a lot in the viewers’ minds. But whether or not Kim wanted Ne Ne on the song because of that incident or if she never really wanted her on the song at all, Ne Ne is the one that appears the more evil of the two and that wig party action solidified Kims’ position.

That’s right, Jazz, Rock, Gospel, whatever. Get a clue! White rock bands often remake songs created by blacks. Get over yourself!

Dina, you are obviously not a R&B fan. Xscape was a very well known girl group. In addition, Kandi is a writer. She made more with one song than you’ll see in a lifetime. Again, get your facts straight.

I habe been reading this all day. With that said, I don’t know which is more entertaining the blogs or the actual show. Note, I said entertaining because that is what the show is suppose to be entertainment…Not Real Life! I for one cannot wait until Thursday nigth to get my laugh or my OMG no she didn’t on. We all know that real people/women don’t act like this. Scripted or real who in their right minds would allow themselves to be portrayed as these women without getting a paycheck? That’s what entertainers do. Some (entertainers) can be a little bit pickier than other in what roles they choose to play. But if you are a nobody who was chosen to be on a reality show your choices are limited, if at all. I applaud the person at Bravo who cast these women. I’m sure their job is secure for a while. Who could have picked a better cast? Nene: The big mouth “country bumpkin.” Sheree: The I married an athlete but I am not educated enough to make it on my own so I ask for seven figures in my divorce (her words not mine). Kim: I lucked up and found a sugar daddy… but don’t have enough sense to realize he will never divorce and marry me so I better save some of those bucks he dishing out for my daughter’s future. Lisa: I need to focus on my children that I lost custody of and stop pretending that I have so much going on in the business world. Kandi: Continue to keep it real. A brush and some pink lotion can work miracles in just 5 or 10 minutes, since its obvious she wont be receiving the same type of pampering you lavish on yourself

Couple things– to the guy who said black people need to stop ripping off creative works of whites– all I will say is, historically, it’s pretty much consistently been the other way around– like the way Chuck Berry successfully sued the Beach Boys for stealing his music for “surfing USA.” Second, Nene’s ghost writer, Denene Miller is actually a fabulously talented writer. I also recently saw her in my friend’s documentary about successful black marriages. I am disapointed that she has hooked up with Nene for this book. She is better than that. Third, I think Kandi does threaten the others. She has her own career that preceded the housewives franchise. She bought her house when she was 19, she said, and apparently has managed her money well. I heard that Kandi was being considered to replace Paula on American Idol. It’s a real shame that they picked Ellen Degeneres over her because she has undeniable talent and has proven she knows what it takes to create a hit with a pop pretender. I hope and trust that her agent is looking for her to get to a better place right now. Lastly, Nene, dial it back. For real, I hope you watch that episode and see what the rest of the world sees. It’s not about the ratings, it’s about what kind of human being you want to be.

I just want to know if anyone has noticed how scaled down Sheree’s “independence party” became once she had to pay for it herself? I”m just saying…It went from helicopters and poetry to her and her girls at a club….with a freakishly large portrait of herself. Nene is so obviously jealous of Kandi, it’s unreal. She doesn’t like Kim ,but can’t stand the fact that she has another friend and doesn’t need her. Is she still in high school? One last question: What qualifies a person as “elite” or a “socialite”? 5:16pm on 9/25 @Smitty where have you been? Kandi may not have been singing but girl friend has been writing and producing. She has even recevied awards for writing on several artist albums. The show is a disgrace to ALL women, especially African American women. Kim needs to get a job. Sheree needs to get over herself. Lisa can be sneaky at times. Ne Ne is alley, ghetto, and loud. Greg, Ne Ne’s husband seems like a good conservative guy. He should have chosen a woman with class to fit his personality. You can tell that he is embarrased by Ne Ne’s behavior at times. Khandi is a classy, talented, beautiful woman. How did she ever get mixed up in this mess? It is evident that Ne Ne is jealous of not only Khandi, but she has made jealous comments about all of the women at one time or the other on camera. She is also jealous that Dwight, her gay friend, approves of Khandi.

I don’t blame Kim I wouldn’t want No No (Ne Ne) on my record either!! Ne Ne is jealous of Kandi and feels threatened because she’s got her own, and didn’t have to swing from a pole and nag a sugardaddy to support her. Ne Ne’s older than Kandi and should display more maturity, but don’t she’s a loudmouth bigfoot bully, and Kandi’s not afraid of her and the other girls are, but I think Tania Sheree’s friend is a bit sick/tire of Ne Ne too.

I think Nene is a sad hateful person. If she was offended that Kim didn’t ask her to be on the song thats fine but she had no right to insult her and then attack Khandi. It’s sad because all the other women have so much going for them yet, she the loudest one doing the least for herself. She made herself look like a fool the way she behaved at Sheree’s party, but at everyone got to see the type of person she really is!
