I did not watch last year I wanted to give them a chance to see if they would portray a positive image for mothers. I was wrong. I will not watch anymore.

-Sheree is stupid. If she doesn’t work then her job is to protect her children. She needs to call her lawyer or the court when Bob “missed” his first payment. Liar go to school and get a career to help contribute to your children’s upbringing. She acts like a real lady cursing and threatening people. Trash.

-Greg and Nene are fake they were renting last year

-Does Kim have to resort to hooking to make money. What is she teaching her two daughters.

-Lisa is so fake. “If it doesn’t make money, I don’t do it” Ed, you are on the clock buddy.

-You know a dude with 6 kids didn’t buy Kandi’s ring. If so his babies mamma’s should be asking about how their kids are taken care of. He must make babies for a living!

Between this and the BET awards, I am ashamed of how black people are portrayed on TV. No wonder there are no black tv shows on a major network, BET, Flavor of Love and the House tramps are buffoonish enough for executives to keep laughing at us.

We are so much better than this as a people, I just wish we had more positive images on TV.

Anthony treated her poorly, but at the same time, I can’t believe she was acting like she was paying for her lame party and demanding a helicopter! He was doing it for free in return for some publicity, which ultimately backfired, but she had some nerve!
On the aftershow with Andy Cohen, her clothes (from her horrible clothing line) looked awful, and she has absolutely no personality. And I don’t believe for one second that she did not know her mortgage wasn’t being paid. Admit it, you’re completely broke.

I have been anxiously awaiting the first episode of season 2. I also live in the metro atlanta area. I love NeNe because “what you see is what you get”! Dwight should have his own show, I must say he is extremely entertaining and ,oh my, I did love that lap dance he gave NeNe!!! I hope he remains a large part of the show. I most identify with Sheree. She is a beautiful black woman, well spoken, educated, and carries herself with such CLASS and dignity. Although she was a bit annoyed with Anthony!!! What a classless loser!! I had a feeling in their first meeting that he didn’t really know what he was doing. I can assure you his business (if it is legit) will suffer greatly, as it should. I was talking to the tv, “you go girl don’t let that idiot speak to you that way”. I really wanted to see her whip his a__ or at the very least, call 911. I’m not sure about Kim. I think she tries too hard to be black! I hope we will find out who big papa is, I’ve heard it’s Quincy Jones. Can’t wait to see the next episode.

Greg owns rental property he’s not a real-estate developer. He’s being sued by several of his tenants. I feel that Khandi is the only one who is financially stable and secure along with Lisa. The show is horrible. Nene is tripping. For some reason she believes that she is an A-list celebrity. Everything she has is rented, house, car. Sheree is living in a dream world. As bad as the economy is, men are not dishing out money like they used to. You need to bring something to the table. She would be a project for a man. I heard Anthony, the event planner, on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show (based in the ATL) this morning defending himself. You know these producers never show everything…and they love ratings! Apparently, Sheree didn’t pay for anything. Anthony’s company had an arrangement with Bravo, the network, to throw the party…which went on without Sheree’s input. Heard it was a wonderful affair. Sheree supposedly came in making demands on the staff over the course of a weeks time (that they didn’t show) and had the whole staff fed up. He said he just spoke for the whole staff when he went off on her. How can you make demands on people and talk down to them when you didn’t hire them and you’re not paying for anything?!!!

PEOPLE, as a Black community, if y’all would quit watching this dribble shown as entertainment, then it would go off the air. If the ratings are good, the show will be CANCELLED which is exactly what needs to happen.

Meh, I only watched because my girlfriends were on Twitter chatting about the show. Watched for 15 minutes before I got irritated and bored with it. The ending of Gone With the Wind was much better.

And FYI: Real housewives don’t act like that; they are too busy taking care of their families to worry about the childish nature of the “women” in this show . And please don’t stereotype; most Black women don’t act like that either. And the term “housewife” refers to women who actually stay at home to take care of the house, the children, etc. Most REAL housewives are cleaning their own homes, not hiring someone to do that for them. Most of them don’t live in luxurious, high-end homes or party with celebrities. Most of them also don’t have the means to wear designer clothing, or have the option of having a professional party planner plan their “independence party” after their divorce.

But the REAL housewives of Atlanta (or Orange County, or wherever else these shows take place) will never be seen on-screen, because viewers would rather see the drama and bulls**t that these drama queens can dish out rather than the reality of what a real housewife has to deal with.

I thought last night’s show was VERY entertaining. I am a huge NeNe fan, although I’m sorry to hear that she’s not such a nice person in real life – that’s disappointing.

Anywhoo, I was surprised to find myself almost liking Sheree last night. She seems to have picked up a little humility during her time off (let’s see how long that lasts). Lisa and her family are as cute as ever and Kim’s wig is still a mess. Not too sure about the addition of Kandi. She’s definitely the most talented and successful, but the whole fiance thing is really crazy. SIX kids!! And who knows by how many women – not that it should matter, but that’s a WHOLE lot of potential drama and a WHOLE lot of child support that she is going to have to help pay (what does he do, anyway??) And Kandi, I beg of you, please dress your daughter in age-appropriate clothing. I can’t think of much I hate more than little girls looking like grown women. And get that hair braided, or at least put in ponytails. She is obviously a smart, very pretty little girl, so let her enjoy her childhood and don’t let her grow up too fast.

I love the show and I am s glad it is back. Ne Ne keeps it real as usual and I love the fact that Ne Ne and Sheree had the heart to heart talk and made up. Those two seem to have a friendship that is real and honest but the he say she say stuff got in the way.
I’m glad Sheree and her kids have a new home and I love Ne Ne’s new home. Her hubby Greg is so nice and I just love those two. Lisa, girl, go ahead and give Ed that little one and I hope you get your other two boys, they deserve to be with you and Ed and not Keith’s non singing ………

First time watching Housewives. This is a trainwreck! The party planner might as well close his doors. He won’t get a lot of customers going forward. To act like that on national television to a client is “hood” (unprofessional) at best.

Seriously, what am I missing. Sheree is not all that. Someone filled her cheerio bowl full of compliments while she was growing up. Not that that is a bad thing, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen someone that conceited AND NOT ATTRACTIVE!!

I agree with a lot of what people are saying and I also disagree with a lot of what is being said.

First of all, it seems that Kandi is the only one that is financially stable and can support her own self. She seems to be providing a stable home and setting a good example for her child. Outside of what may appear to be a bad choice in fiance, I don’t see how she shouldn’t be the “favorite” housewife. We’re prematurely judging her fiance because he has 6 kids, but we don’t know the details. Or these kids he’s had over the duration of his adult life with multiple women that he doesn’t support or 6 kids that he financially supports that he had earlier in life from 1, maybe 2 relationships. But then again, we love the DRAMA QUEENS…I guess that’s why Deshawn Snow isn’t on the show this season.

NeNe seems to have the most fans, but she should actually be the least favorite. She flunts wealth that she obviously doesn’t have, she acts the most “ghetto-ish” of them all and she doesn’t possess a SINGLE quality that I would like in a female.

Sheree is a bonifide gold digger, but outside of that…I LIKE HER! I think she actually possesses class, she’s put together nicely, and though she can be catty like the rest of the women, she can do it in a way that doesn’t come off as obnoxious.

Lisa is cool, but in the back of my mind…I can’t help but think she found her a younger fool (Ed) to bankroll her “business endeavors”. But since Ed’s days in the NFL seem behind him, let’s see how long this “romance” actually lasts.

And Kim…..two words….TRAILER TRASH! Enough said.

But I will add that people ought to realize that how these women APPEAR on television may not be the most accurate depiction of how they are in real life. We know they’re being following 24/7 during shooting and the producers chose the most dramatic and entertaining moments to put on television and as much flack as these women are getting, they’re smarter enough to realize that drama sells and what gets them on television and renewals and a pretty good paycheck from Bravo. So ha ha….last laugh is on most you because they’re getting paid for their antics and you get nothing for your criticism of them.

Ms. Ice I was wondering the same thing. They never said what he does for a living. Some girls just don’t want the mild mannered professional type. They’re only into the thugged out guy on the streets. So maybe it works for her. Although she should think more about what is best for her child than what turns her on.

Little Riley is cute as button but as someone mentioned maybe a little too grown looking I would never have guessed she was just 6 years old. She talked kinda like a 6 year old. I thought it was cute how she said that she would be getting 6 new friends versus 6 new brothers and sisters. I like how kids are think so differently and simply. If we just carry over the good simple stuff of childhood into adulthood but only the immature bickering and petty stuff seems to carry over. Then again this show would not be even a quarter as fun. Love this show!

I agree that sounds fishy. However there are articles in the paper all the time about people who rent a house and don’t know it’s in foreclosure until they are kicked out. So it’s possible but at the same time considering she wasn’t a tenant but technically as his wife still an owner I don’t see it.

Disgusting portrayal of Black women in Atlanta! There are tons of classy Black women in Atlanta. I understand this is television but there are few images of Blacks on T.V. We are often judged by what we portray in media, film, music etc. The B***h word was thrown around too loosely and kids are watching this. It’s a shame that they always show these women going to parties and never cultural events (theater, plays, dance,music etc.) Enough of these glammed up handkerchief head, modern day minstrel shows already!

I actually enjoyed the show last night. I think Season 2 opened with a BIG BANG! I watched the entire Season 1 and must admit that I was not impressed at all. I wasn’t looking forward to Season 2. But last night I was convinced that I must watch this show and I think Season 2 is going to offer more. This is pure ENTERTAINMENT!!!

The party planner said and it was stated SHEREE DID NOT pay for this party, it was done for FREE. So I guess he got irritated with her ass thinking she can run things without anyone even getting compensated!!!

Also all these so called “housewives are frauds”. You don’t know when your house is in foreclosure????? The notices are being sent to your house (certified) and regular! then a court order is being placed on your door by the marshalls. I don’t know any bank or mortage company that will NOT try and attempt to reach out to the debtors to pay their mortage. If they were married most likely they would know that Sheree is his wife and watching this show they know how to reach her. She is full of B.S. and broke.

All these chicks are broke down, hood rats, then managed to trap a ball player and get in their pockets. What has Lisa really done, can somebody please list a resume of major accomplishements that allow her to provide for a lifestyle DO NOT include alimony and child support payments from Keith Sweat.

Kim you already know she just leeched of Big Poppa. So she has no talent or contribution but being a bank account leak.

NeNe what is she doing? All these chicks don’t have anything to contribute to anybodies relationship.

I watched the show late last night and it was a mess. These bickering, angry, unhappy women with attitudes are reinforcing the negative stereotypes of Black women…and men too. We’ve seen the feminine men (Dwight and Sheree’s hairstylist). Then, they showed us the angry, belligerent Black man last night(the party planner). I won’t be watching it anymore. There are some sisters in Atlanta that know how to handle their business and can still treat themselves with some sense of decorum and respect. The show last night was a mere two steps away from being a minstrel show.

i watched last night and was totally drawn in by that seen with anthony and sheree. i was laughing so hard i had to wake up my wife who was on the couch and rewind the tivo to show it to her. i dont know why i have fixated on this anthony zero. maybe i was drawn in when he uttered “i am a high level executive” and 2 minutes later said “your mama is a bitch”. classic.

i saw on an earlier post that he works for “eventologie”. is that true. whats his last name. i need to hit this guy up on facebook and see what he is all about. anyone..?

I tried to watch the show last year & I have to tell you it made us Atlanta women look BAD! The show was saying to all the viewers that Atlanta has nothing but trashy women. Lisa & her husband are the real deal, but the others are nothing but gold digging trash! Nene, Kim (especially!) & Sheree are nothing but trash women who want to be with rich, rich men & then throw them out when they get their $$! I watched the new show last night & it just proved my point even more…these women are just gold diggers & they need a reality check & it made the women of Atlanta look like just plain old trash! Atlanta women are better than the women that are on this show! I do love the housewives of NY, & especially Jersey….God, those women were ruthless!! I would bet they are mafia tied too!

I enjoyed the show. It’s reality television ENTERTAINMENT! Yes, you would expect that they would have a little money now, especially with the success of last season. Also, YES, the party planner is still getting paid in publicity. Good or bad, he agreed to take her (the show) on as a client and if there were questions that she wasnt clear on, he should make sure his client had a good understanding. He didnt HAVE to take this on. He obviously saw a benefit in doing so.

Stop picking and the name calling and just enjoy it.

The Real Desperate Housewives of Atlanta Season 2 is not a great representation of women in Atlanta. The only one with class is Lisa- Both Lisa and Nene live in St. Marlo which is not even in Atlanta- they are the token black families of the neighborhood- that area is like 95 percent white. The rest of the girls live outside of Atlanta as well. Most people that actually live in Atlanta with money would never be on this show- they have too much of it already. Most affluent blacks live in the south dekalb area. Atlanta is a huge, diverse area (white,black, latino, people from all over and all different backgrounds)- I just wish the show would have done a better job of representing Atlanta with a more diverse cast. Although I will say the show is hilarious and packs more drama than any show out there.

Lighten up people…I’m a woman who’s been a debutante, member of Jack & Jill, my parents are lawyers and I’m married to one…AND I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! My point is no matter if you have uppercrust “pedigree” (or not) there’s something about every woman on this show that we can relate to whether you’re from Beverly Hills or the Appalachian Hills (lol!)….so to my girls on the show, keep living life and feeling every moment of it!

I have been an event planner for over 15 years. Never in my professional career or my lifetime have I ever seen such a display of bad judgement on Anthony’s part. As a seasoned professional the client should be a part of and have the final say – The difficult the better – listen, this was any event planners opportunity to shine. Sheree is a business woman, a line coming out, lavish birthday parties at her home all filmed on TV – Are you CRAZY!!! You would have impressed her and her guests with future and repeat clients left and right. He was more concerned with power. I own my company and my moto is truly customer service first – its the only way to make money is to please the customer above and beyond expectations. Of course it was free…the exposure alone was priceless to say the least. I would not hire Anthony to scrape the cake off a brides shoe at an event that I put my name on. He had no respect for her because he has no respect for women – for him to make such a horrible comment to defend his sexuality says he does not respect his wife! Who cares if he’s gay or straight, married or not – He is blacklisted. I am based in Pembroke Pines Florida serving Miami, Palm Beaches as well as travel to California, New York and Atlanta – wherever business takes me. I work closely with my preferred vendors in each state – just on word of mouth I have built a successful business – none of the vendors that I do business with would ever be associated with someone like that. Who addresses themselves as a “TOP LEVEL EXECUTIVE”. You wouldn’t even put that on a resume. “How Dreadful”. Not to forget – “Respect my Top”!! Never in Corporate America – He has done several interviews after the show aired but has failed to say if he is still working for the company – I only wish he would find his way down to Florida job hunting – He actually greated a client wearing a baseball cap…As Sheree said…”who does that”??? I was not a fan of Sheree’s last season and may not be this season – that is the entertainment aspect of it – would we be friends – proberbly not – but this has to do with business, customer service, supply and demand and the bottom line bringing revenue to the company – ANTHONY DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME…

I agree that, with the exception of Kandi, these women are a poor reflection on black women in general.
Kandi is definitely my favorite, by a long shot!! The song she sang in episode 1 (?) about why she wants her man lit a fire in me I have not felt in quite some time.
