I knew John at Tech and had classes with him. He was always nice to everyone. He never came across as being arrogant. He was fun, He came to class and apparently made the grades. While he did have talent, he was good not great on the court. He has definitely made the most of his personality and may actually prove to be a better business man than basketball player. Wish I had watched the show now.

John Salley is one of the biggest jerks in sports. I sat two row behing him at the NCAA Championship game in 04. As a Tech alum, I was embarrassed at his behavior. F-bombs dropped in every other sentence in addition to his other antics.
