We’ve already reported the huge ratings for “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ and the BET Awards. Locally and nationally, “America’s Got Talent” had a decent start last week, too, though numbers were down from a year ago. Plus, baseball fans who didn’t make it to Turner Field caught the Braves-Yankees games in droves.

And “Hawthorne,” the new TNT show, lost only 15% of its audience week over week in Atlanta, from 174,000 to 154,000.
