6/4: TNT’s “Raising the Bar” paying for Ga. 400 tolls Monday, 7-9 a.m.

McDonald’s just paid the Ga. 400 tolls earlier this week for two hours to promote its new coffee line.

Now it’s Atlanta-based TNT’s turn to give commuters a smile. If you commute from 7 to 9 a.m. on Monday, June 8, the network will foot the bill to promote the second season of its law drama “Raising the Bar” starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gloria Reuben and Jane Kaczmarek.

The network did the same thing last year, when the show premiered during Labor Day with a huge 8.6 million viewers. Though ratings plunged afterwards, TNT felt the show improved throughout the year and deserved a second year.

On TV
“Raising the Bar,” TNT, 10 p.m. Monday

How will this help put more blacks in prison where they belong?

You people are suckers! This toll road was supposed to be paid off and the toll would end but government designed it to last forever, even “excess” tolls cannot go towards paying down the balance due. Enjoy your ignorance Atlanta LOL

Hey corporate marketing gurus: here’s a better idea. Pay the transit fare at Xpress lots and end-of-the-line MARTA stations for people willing to give it a try for one day. The last thing we need is to provide yet another incentive for people to continue to drive (and give them the incorrect impression that they pay for themselves and should be free).
