5/14: Anna Kournikova promotes kid fitness for Cartoon Network

Former tennis star Anna Kournikova, now more famous for being famous, came to Hyatt Regency in Atlanta for the Boys & Girls Club’s national conference. The 27-year-old beauty, who lives in Miami, was in town as a Boys & Girls Club spokeswoman and also to promote Cartoon Network’s “Get Animated” campaign, which encourages kids to (ironically) get off from the couch and go exercise.
Yes, that Cartoon Network tie in is the only reason it’s on this blog. Oh, and it’s Anna Kournikova. Did I say that already?
I spoke with her for three minutes Wednesday and here’s the video I shot:
She played Four Square, a playground game, with some kids from a local Boys & Girls club.

FRANKLY, LOOKING AT THIS PHOTOS ANNA IS NO “BEAUTY” AS YOU DESCRIBED HER. ALL I SEE IS AN FAKE BLONDE WEARING HEAVING MAKE UP. AND SHE HAS NEVER BEEN NATURALLY THIN, NOW SHIN IS ALMOST ANOREXIC. NOT A GOOD IMAGE FOR YOUNG GIRLS.

I think she is incredibly beautiful. Talentless? She was once a ranked tennis player on the pro tour. She was no Steffi Graff or Williams sister, but to be ranked at all shows incredible talent. In fact, how could anyone who plays professional sports on any level be considered talentless? I think those that make that claim need a little perspective.

Anna was “pretty”, nevr “beautiful”. There is a big difference. Anna is one of these women taht use heavy make up and skimpy clothes to get attention. Te comments by women on this post are not out of jealousy. They are the reality. Anna is nothing special now. She has a very aged face for a 27 year old and she is wearing too much make. She is unaturally thin. Look at Anna when she first entered the spotlight. She was a chubby teen, no stick. A “beautiful” woman does not need a tonne of make up to look good. In Russia any is not seen as very pretty, just average. She is just doing this charity TO GET HER NAME IN THE PAPERS. SHE LIVES FOR THE ATTENTION.

ANNA IS JUST ‘AVERAGE’ IN RUSSIA. THAT’S RIGHT. LOOK AT THE YOUNG GIRLS IN THE WTA. THEY ARE BETTER THAN HER IN LOOKS AND SKILLS. ANNA MADE TENNIS POPULAR IN RUSSIA AND NOW RUSSIA DOMINATE TENNIS.
