Presidential candidates reduce a 4-year-old to tears
Here’s the background on the tears from 9News in Colorado:
A 4-year-old Fort Collins girl expressed her frustration over the seemingly never-ending presidential campaign.
9NEWS viewer Elizabeth Evans said she and her daughter, Abigael, were listening to NPR on a trip to the grocery store Tuesday when she started tearing up.
The mother asked Abigael why she was crying and she responded, “I’m tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney.”
NPR has apologized.

Truth O Meter? OBama can’t run on his record because he doesn’t have one. The man spent the first 2 years in office with control of both houses of congress and accomplished nothing…….not the mark of a skilled politian…….but he has the backing of “glitzy” Hollywood stars and “idiot” types like Michael Moore and a trashy “white girl” comedian who likens voting for OBama to losing her virginity. Been gone for hours? Maybe because I have a life outside of AJC blogs???? Sorry to dissapoint. Truth is I am not hearing any solid facts on why Romney is SO BAD….more fear tactics and demagoguery from the left about Obama. I think it’s supremely funny how everyone talks about the economy getting better. I hate to tell you this, but the economy was in the toilet….only place it could go was to get better. Too bad it took a whole 4 years to slightly move in a better direction. The promises Obama made have not come to fruition that he said would in his FIRST term. I hold a man to his word and he has not lived up to them. MASTERS degree is obviously overcompensating for something lol…..You can parade around all you want about Obama and his so called “great turnarounds”, but the truth is as an INDEPENDENT voter I am not impressed at all. You can blame or call repubs names on here or tout DEMS on here….bottom line is Obama needs to convince people such as myself and I’m not happy with what has occurred in the past 4 years. It’s people like me that will decide the election. I know I know that scares the hell out of you and I’m a racist….truth is I’ve taken off the idealogue glasses and am willing to give another MAN a chance regardless of party affiliation. Party doesn’t matter to me. Fixing the country does. Obama is offering promises he clearly CAN’T keep….I know that based on the failed promises of the 1st term. You want to say Romney will do this and that….He hasn’t even had the chance of governing the country yet so how do you even know? I know what Obama has done. I think we all have got to take a look at what motivates us to go against one candidate or the other. I have really made an honest effort to search my soul and make sure I’m voting for the right reasons. I did not vote for Mr. Obama in 2008, but when he was elected he became my president too and I gave him my respect. As I learned more, and saw things that scared me about his administration, I began to worry about my children and grand children’s future. I don’t know whether Mr. Romney will do a better job or not, but he’s all I have left to vote for now, since I was a Herman Cain supporter before he dropped out…..If voting against someone because I’m tire of lies and too many secret deals with other countries “wait until after the election Mr. Puten and I’ll be able to do more ” then I guess I am by your standards, but my real friends, who know my heart and my record don’t feel that I am ! God bless America and the true Americans who want freedom for all, and a renewed loyalty to the United States of America and its great people.

But seriously. Parents need to be aware than the constant influx of alarmist news is stressful to children and limit their exposure. Young children aren’t able to discern when the news is overstating the danger- which it almost always is now- and being in a constant state of alarm is bad for their development.
