Martha Zoller takes a temp job with Nathan Deal

My colleague James Salzer has gotten word that Gainesville conservative talk radio queen and failed Republican congressional candidate Martha Zoller is now on Gov. Nathan Deal’s political team. At least temporarily.

Zoller has gotten a contract from Gov. Nathan Deal’s political action committee to do “outreach” with tea party activists and county GOP organizations for the governor.

“I’m helping him with grassroots,” Zoller confirmed.

Zoller lost the Republican primary runoff in the 9th District congressional contest to Rep. Doug Collins, who served as Deal’s House floor leader and was the governor’s candidate in the race – although one of the governor’s daughters backed Zoller.

Zoller said she may return to the airwaves early next year. She’s not yet ready to say where.

Georgia’s next gubernatorial election is 25 months away. I’d like to know for what purpose our governor’s PAC has hired this women to reach out to “tea party activists” at this time. The Republicans already control every major office in this state, and both houses of our General Assembly.

(Yet, oddly enough, they still cannot do their jobs via the passage of effective legislation, and are constantly trying to amend our Constitution to cover for their failings. Hmm…)

That Gov. Shady’s support network has hired more activists is not especially newsworthy. What dirty little deals they’re paying them do DO — now that’s what I want to know. Thanks!

More than likely she will have little more than nominal, trifling duties for now. The position will be nothing more than a sinecure to provide her with a means of support until she finds employment with a radio station, where the quid pro quo will then be in effect. In return for providing her with a livelihood during her job search, deal will have a radio spokesperson in his pocket to advocate for his policies and the reelection of him and his cronies.

Bless her heart.

Maybe someday she will ‘grow into’ whatever the heck it is she is good at.

Until then, she seems to be another miscreant in the OnePartyState.

Investigate Deal/what he is spending tax $ on/ for who. Try to get Republlican voter rolls audited for phony/dead republicans. Have diebold voting machines been checked? A lot of vote stealing with that machine.

Something in the milk doesn’t smell clean as the old folks used to say. I had a little respect for Martha, but now I’m definitely questioning that.
