You can file Herman Cain’s appearance at the University of Florida on Thursday under “With Friends Like These.” From the Gainesville Sun:
Cain told members of the media after the speech that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s recent “47 percent” comment was a “non-story” being blown out of proportion by the media. But Cain said he would have been doing better if he was the nominee, saying that he’d probably have a “substantial lead” on President Barack Obama at this point.
“The reason is quite simple: I have some depth to my ideas,” he said.

Funny stuff! That 9-9-9 plan was about as deep as an empty bath tub. Cain’s foreign policy depth was proven when he talked about the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan.

Herman Cain spend a lot of time (and a lot of money) crafting an image of being a funny person, someone who could easily make people laugh. And clearly the man hasn’t lost it. He remains as funny and as goofy as ever.

Herman, you are the BUFFOONISH clown of the Republican Party, No one of great importance in the party or the NATION, would seriously consider backing your candidacy, even if you were running against yourself.
You are seen as nothing more than a TOOL to be used when needed. Right now, All

Actually he is correct. Herman Cain was the only Republican with a legitimate shot at beating Obama this year and by exposing (pun intended) his apparent fixation with caucasians. The GOP flushed any chance they had of winning down the toilet. If I was him, I would have quit. They would have said “do you like white women” and I would have said hell no I LOVE WHITE WOMEN. In fact the cure for cancer is Godfather’s Pizza and White Women. But alas he couldn’t turn the ship into the storm so we will have to wait for someone else to get rid of the IRS and bring some fresh ideas DC. Herman (or Uncle Ruckus as I like to call him) had his shot, and white women blew it for him.

First Cain gets out of the race because the big bad liberal media backed by Democrats told on him giving money to a woman who was not his wife, and his wife was not aware at the time (nevermind that it was probably Romney behind the mud to get Cain out of the race).
Then, Mitt’s wife tells Republicans who don’t like her husband that “this is hard” and they should compromise to make this election easier.
Now Cain say he’d be winning (reminds me of a child watching a sporting event claiming he/she can do better than the contestants on the field/court).
I thought the GOP was the party of hard work, dignity, resolve, and sacrifice for the greater good. When will someone lead by example?

Why are many of you so cynical? As a voting democrat, I certainly believe Herman Cain would have been a better candidate than Mitt Romney. Do I think he would have nad a lead over President Obama? I am not so sure but would not rule it out. Would I have supported Cain over President Obama? Absolutely not but I feel he would have served the republican ticket much better than Mitt Romney and my reason being is that you just cannot trust Romney.

And the rats begin leaving the sinking ship. Pundits like Noonan, Kristol, Brooks, etc. as well as Senate candidates are coming out with harsh criticisms of Romney. I told people during the primary you’re backing a loser – a man who already ran a failing Senate and Presidential campaign. Thank you for handing victory right over to Obama. Your vote for Romney ensured 4 more years for Barack.

Gallop??? Never heard of it.
The national polls mean nothing right now. This close to the election the swing state polls are where the action is at. The current electoral projections along with the current swing state polls paint a very bleak picture for Romney.
Its time for Republicans to start fantasizing about 2016, maybe Rasmussen can put together a poll for you losers, something to keep your spirits up. I might look something like this…
Rasmussen 2016- President
Clinton 59%
Cain 41%

But instead of him touting himself I could do this or that what we need is for people like Herman Cain to get behind Mitt Romney and energize the base. You guys are all funny. Like our vote matters and whoever wins matters? Not! Both sides are influenced by money. I am not saying that because I am a wealth hater, I control my own life by providing for myself very nicely. Just take a look at the wallets of the people running. They have more money than god and are not spending their own money to fund the campaigns. They will spend a billion dollars just to try and get your vote. That only points to one thing and that is their own personal gain is at stake, as well the people funding them. Too much money and power influencing them plain and simple. They will say I love America, I will make your life better, yadda yadda yadda… I love this country and it is a shame that our supposed leaders have made it a shambles.

Ok all. If I was running for president I would be leading in the polls. Here are my ideas and they have depth.
First we would make the US number 1 priority not other countries. My opponents claim they are helping America but all I see is people suffering, education sucks, and a government that couldnt run a household budget if they tried. Cut 3/4 of the foreign aid and reinvest in America. I believe in helping others, but when your people are having a hard time you dont turn your back. Take the billions we are giving to our enemies and fund a lottery. Hold a lottery each year giving 2 million to multiple people until the 3/4 cut of foreign aid is dried up. Those people are required to give 1/2 away to another person in need. Also with part of it they are required to use 1/2 on spending. House, car? If house they need to keep a portion for maintaining the house and taxes. If you dont like that give it back in a check to every tax paying american at the end of the year. America first! This will stimulate the economy.
Second. Tell these back stabing countries that claim to be our friend to go to h… Pakistan comes to mind. They are backing the terrorists. Dont be fooled by the media. They give us nugets to make it think we are friends and they are helping but they are secretly funding terrorism.
Medical. Make medical care like any other service. Insurance shouldnt have to cost you a mint. Health care prices and quality should be driven by competition. Dr. I admire but the cost of service is way to high.
Here is an idea. maybe we should actually spend what we take in, no more. Has anyone ever heard of a budget? I swear no one in DC has.
Vote for me!

Let’s see if I understand this correctly. Cain never won a primary, never has won any type of election and was one of the first to drop out of the presidential race. Now we are to believe he would have a sizeable lead over Obama?
That comment is exactly why he wouldn’t have a sizeable lead. We absolutely need to replace Obama, but it was not going to be with Cain.

Herman Cain is not just a failed flash-in-the-pan candidate who was unembarrassed by his pathetic ignorance of basic world history, current affairs and even grade-school geography, but he’s now all of the above as well as an aggravation that just won’t go away. Please, Herman, shut up and go away.

Mr Cain, I should be on your side but when you said Nein Nein Nein….It means No No No in German! Ask Gary Hart what sexual charges will do to a campaign. So stop thinking you would have had a sizable lead on Mr Obama. If you would have had a lead on him, Karl Rove would have had something to do with your disappearance as he has jokingly said about Mr Akin, the Senate candidate from Missouri.

The 2000 version of McCain, of course and by a wide margin.
The 2008 version of McCain with what’s her name on the ticket, yeah… no.

Mitt Romney will have a substantial lead on election night………..I hope a majority of the voters in America realize voting for Obama would have devastating long term consequences!
He probably has a substantial lead right now; however, the polls are “skewed” by including 7%-9% more democrats than Republicans. Sad but true…….do a little research and try to prove me wrong with actual facts (you very well might be surprised with what you uncover…….the media is LYING to us all……..no surprise to me).
It is all part of the Democratic voter fraud plan…….if the polls say he is 8% higher than he really is then they can push through 8% fraudulent ballots and everything looks just peachy on election night. Democrats have convinced the media that they should “skew” the poll results to make the ignorant masses think Obama is leading in states where he is actually tied or trailing (I do not think the media outlets realize the extent of the voter fraud……..the are probably just uninformed pawns being used). The problem is that it is dishonest and wrong (ACORN is VERY skilled with this approach & Obama worked for ACORN as a “Community Organizer” and provided legal advice to employees about how to legally picket/pressure companies & banks…….Oh you do not believe me; again do some research and prove me wrong).

Obama is dishonest @ 5:54 pm – the only thing dishonest about President Obama is his dealings with DISHONEST REPUBLICANS and SUPPORTERS like you who consistently create and make up Complete DISHONEST Fabrications and LIES.
Pretty much like your comments ABOVE to support your very DISHONEST BEHAVIOR and FALSE CLAIMS.

@Obama is dishonest…..Your assertion of some conspiracy by the media to Mr Romney behind in the polls is akin to the birther controversy. PPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE say something of substance worth looking at than your conspiracy voter fraud soliloquy. Fox News even has Mr Obama in the lead. Heck, Mr Romney himself knows that he is behind the Prez.
The Repubs need a serious candidate to beat Mr Obama. John Huntsman had a good chance but he ran out of money. Mr Romney should have given him a loan. Whoever wins in November, they are going to have to govern towards the center. If Romneys does win and the Dems hold on to the Senate and they gain House seats, romney will have to deal with the Democrats. The same with Mr Obama if he wins a second term. He is going to have to deal wiht Mr Ryan back in the House.

Mr Cain, the other part of your comment was……my ideas have some depth, was prolly correct. That’s the funny thing!
Mr Romney’s campaign theme was “I Want To Beat Barack Obama”! Come on Mr Romney, you’ve got to have some thoughts or specifics of how you will lead the country. Beating BObama only works after you announce you wanted to run for the Presidency. Now….the specifics PLEASE!

Obama is a known evil who will only have 4 years left. Romney is a known evil that, thanks to his shenanigans at the GOP convention will not have to face any serious rival from inside the GOP in 4 years so may have 8 years to further destroy this country. Given that both candidates are horrible, and practically the same on every major issue, Obama with only 4 possible years to destroy america further comes out as the lesser of the two evils.
Wow America is in a very horrible place. Why have we let Goldman Sachs, the banking cartel, the big-business cartels, and the global elites foist such horrible candidates on us???

We would make sure Her-man Cain, was distracted from campaigning. Ginger Bread White would slip a room key to Her-man Cain at every site on the campaign trial. Remember he could not get pass his republican opponents who are lightweights compared to Obama. A true family man who has remained faithful to his wife.

Yea @Bitter
I wonder myself why folks in the REPUBLICAN party derailed Hummun’s campaign the way it did?! He was clearly the best candidate of the GOP field this year based on some of the testimony here. Guess they couldn’t stomach the idea of a “Black on Black” contest, because as we all know there is only one word that should follow that expression.

Herman–about the only lead you’d have over Obama would be the lead you’d make running to the men’s room to relieve your bladder. Go home and shut up. You’re about as relevant to the GOP as that idiot Todd Akin, the Republican Congressman from Missouri who recently proved he knew nothing about rape or the female reproductive system.
