In Tampa, Sam Olens will be half of a duet for attorneys general

The Republican National Committee today released next week’s Wednesday schedule for Tampa – a day primarily devoted to a display of GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.

But also on the RNC agenda will be a prime-time appearance by Attorney General Sam Olens of Georgia.

He’ll follow U.S. Sens. Mitch McConnell and John McCain on the evening schedule in a kind of duet for attorneys general. Olens will share the podium with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Both attorneys general were strong supporters of Mitt Romney during the primary. Both participated in the 27-state lawsuit challenging President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul – a likely topic for their address.

Olens and Bondi also represent a pair of GOP firsts. Bondi is Florida’s first female attorney general. Olens is the first Jewish candidate to be elected to a statewide, partisan office.

Filling out the night will be former U.S. secretary of state Condoleezza Rice — another nod to diversity — followed by Ryan.

Still wondering which Sam Olens will show up in Tampa. The thoughtful, consensus building county commission chairman, or the guy who parrots whatever talking point of the day has been handed out by the RNC.

This will all be on faux so that it doesn’t interfere with the TV schedule, right?

A Jew, a black woman, and a white woman speaking at the Republican Convention????

My guess is Tampa will get struck by a hurricane.

A very definite plus for Georgia to have the Attorney General and next Govrnor in a major role at the Republican National Convention.

Face it, libs/commies, the dim-witted dimocratic party is finished in Georgia. If you wish to be a part of the majority again, you must move to another state.

Adios!

Larry craig will also be there as a bathroom attendant (watch out for his wide stance). mark foley will be there to baby sit your teenage sons. john ensign will be there in case your wife is looking for a job. mark sanford will be there selling excursions to the Appalachian trail. ted haggard will be there to get down on his knees with you (and pray?)

Sounds like a fun time for all, but WHERE’S GEORGE? WHERE’S DICK? WHERE’S RUMMY? Couldn’t these stars of yesterday fit this convention into their busy schedules? Surely the repubs are clamoring to hear them talk about the good times.

Please do, I regard democrats as just another species of rodent, however more like weasels to the republican slimy sleazy wharf rats. However If I have to put up with vermin, weasels don’ t revolt me the way rats do, Weasels will raid a hen house, but rats breed like…, well rats, and come into your home, spread disease, get into your food supply and are an all around hazard and nuisance. A good watch dog will keep weasels at bay, nothing can stop a pack of rats once they are established, you never eradicate them.

You want to have a go at the democrats, have at it, I’ll probably second most of what you say, especially if it is directed at reid, pelosi, hoyer, and the rest of the spineless worms that have been selling liberals out for decades. Hope that clears things up for you.

I will add tho that the dems are not a party led by serial adulterers who gleefully attacked clinton’s adulteries while holding up their own supposed piety, simultaneously being led by a group of serial adulterers, gingrich, the guy who resigned the speakership immediately after gingrich because he fathered a child by a mistress, and the creep from IN sitting on the impeachment panel who also fathered a child out of wedlock. These are the hypocrites who rant endlessly against homosexuals, with the homosexuals in their party ranting the loudest, craig, foley et al. Their hypocrisy would fill a convention hall. That’s why my little jab was directed at republican peccadillos.

I used to like Sam Olens but he stuck his nose in the Henry County BOC Chairman race, and on the wrong side. Same for Cagle, Westmoreland and Deal.
