The musical portfolio of U.S. Rep. Tom Price, R-Roswell, keeps growing and growing.
Earlier this month, we found out that Price had been to a Jimi Hendrix concert in ’69, and still has the ticket.
But the man gets ever wilder. Tonight, it’s Neil Diamond. Politico reports that Price has built a fund-raising operation for his political action committee, Voice for Freedom, around a series of concerts at Washington’s Verizon Center.
After this evening’s Diamond concert comes Coldplay, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks and Madonna. The per-ticket cost is $1,500, with a pair for $2,500. For $5,000, Price will let you wave his encore lighter. For $6,000, he promises not stand on his seat and to shout “Freebird!”
Politico offers more details here.

Oh, there are a lot of interesting things about Dr. Price that are not general knowledge.

Madonna is still hot, and proves it by showing off some normally concealed body parts. Being a sexist centrist, I personally don’t have a problem with it – especially if I could get front row seats.

I liked Neil Diamond but if we going to 1969 memories the price should reflect the price at the time….If he should fall out the chair shouting freebird then good riddance to him.

Why would a self serving Dixiecrat want to pay to see an actist hasve an intentional costume malfunction?

Price would have been 15 yrs old in 1969, and was living in Lansing, MI. Hendrix performed that spring in Toronto, about 6 hours away. I wonder who drove him there?

Price is no Dixiecrat. He’s the worst kind of carpetbagger. The knowledge that we share a love for Jimi is not easy for me to take. Understandable of course, but difficult nonetheless.

Note to those tagging along with Price at those concerts…
Please don’t get all bent out of shape and complain on Twitter (founded by liberals) through your Apple computers (founded by liberals) about how all the liberal performers, Neil Diamond, Stevie Nicks, Chris Martin, and uber liberal Madonna dissed Republicans at the concert.
Its okay that you act cool at the concerts but just remember, you’re not. The modern music you enjoy, the computers and software you use, movies, tv, the phones and gadgets you use, Twitter and Facebook are cool, and they are dominated by liberals.
Popular culture has a liberal bias.

When I think of TOM Price, I think of old expired BUTTER MILK, months past its expiration date and still in the rear of the fridge, hidden away behind other beverages awaiting my discovery, to discard. YUK!

From the song Sign (The Five Man Electrical Band)
And the sign says “Everybody welcome, come in, kneel down and pray”
But then they passed around a plate at the end of it all
And I didn’t have a penny to pay
So I got me a pen and a paper and I made up my own &^&^&^& sign
I said, “Thank you Lord for thinking ’bout me, I’m alive and doing fine

You may not like Tom Price, but you have the right in our republic to express that sentiment. Most constituents in his district will gladly vote for him. He’ll continue to support your right to whine (another “right” liberals embrace).

“For $6,000, he promises not stand on his seat and to shout “Freebird!”
But, he doesn’t promise not to shout “I object. I object. I object” as he does when Congresswomen try to speak on health care.

So it’s DC where price gets his funding.
I knew he could probably only wring a couple of hundred dollars out of his entire district here.
It’s sad I got drawn into his district this time, but I get to vote against him and max out funding his opponent!

Loran,
Liberals may whine but they don’t carve letters in their forehead and claim they were robbed at ATM machines by supporters of their political opponents.
