Last week SNL killed a sketch on Obama killing bin Laden, then predictably skewered FOX News instead.
In the censored skit, President Obama addresses Americans soon after the first anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden — and he makes sure to remind viewers that all credit for the raid on the terrorist leader’s compound belongs to him.
“I hope you had a safe and joyous first anniversary of his killing,” the president, portrayed by Fred Armisen, begins.
“Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be at home this year, as I had to fly to Afghanistan, to remind President Karzai that, exactly one year ago, we killed Osama bin Laden, and that the decision to do so was a gutsy one,” the president continues. “And was mine.”

Seeing this “skit” makes me glad I still pray for bin Obama. Allah save our great nation if anything happens to him and Joe Biden is elevated to the office of the Presidency. I shudder to think of the outcome. However, to the socialist lefties, that would amount to a smooth transition. Going back to when the Dimocrats controlled the House, an even WORSE scenario would have been Joe Biden having a heart attack on becoming President and, and, and, Geez, I can’t even type her name… I get the jitters so bad. Big deal. Nothing is stopping the right from starting their own papers, news magazines, making their own movies, or starting their own tv networks. Free market. You sure have an entitlement mentality.
The right has plenty of opportunity. Murdoch could have added a nightly newscast to his Fox tv network. People are more than free to watch the 50 religious broadcast tv stations, but don’t. The Koch boys could easily produce conservative movies. Why isn’t Murdoch producing conservative programs on the Fox network instead of programs like The Family Guy? How about “The Family Values Guy?”
This is just another thing that Republicans like Victimist love to whine about.

I like how when a liberal attacks Fox News, they name call. Liberal’s don’t attack credibility based on news reports. They get upset because Fox doesn’t play by the MSNBC rules. Those rules are simple. Anything that smells like Conservatism, Capitalism, or Constitutionalism. Liberals prey on the weak minded. They convince you that without them, you cannot survive. Liberals cry for more regulations, more social programs, more rules. When I debate with a liberal, it never fails that they resort to name calling. I have never understood it. I have a question, we have liberals like Will Smith saying they don’t pay enough in taxes, do you think he does a simple tax return or do you think he takes advantage of every tax break and loophole he can? If he does a simple return, I say he’s practicing what he’s preaching. If he’s using tax breaks, I say shame on him. He should live by what he says. Same with Warren Buffet. Berkshire Hathaway “owes” billions in back taxes. He is quoted as saying he believes he doesn’t’ pay enough in taxes. I have a question… Those of you liberals that believe every millionaire should pay more in taxes, what amount should they be left with to live on? Is that amount close to the level you live on? Funny how that works out. The amount you have is the perfect amount for everybody else to live on. You show me a Liberal that wants a smaller government, more personal privacy, fewer regulations on personal life, and a balanced tax system and I’ll show you a unicorn that poops diamonds and rainbows.

Obama has yet to finish his term. But since you asked the number has not changed from 2009 to 2010 (the latest year for which I have a number). By the way, this period has Dem control of both houses of congress and the White House. OOOPS!
Regarding civil liberties violations, my comment was not intended to say that that the Dems (aka liberals) have a better record, it was simply to show the fallacy of the belief that the conservatives do.
One of these days, the so-called conservatives here are gonna wake up and realize that when it comes to big government and spending, there is no difference between the GOP and the Democrats.
The only difference between the GOP and Democrats is that the GOP are anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-union and pro-gun (and the pro-gun thing is iffy as I know quite a few liberals who own guns).

I am anti-union. America produces union automobiles. Those automobiles are considered the worst made in the world. As far as gay marriage, it’s not anti gay. Marriage is an institution between us and God. Unfortunately, the government thinks that’s an opportunity to generate more revenue. Once you open the doors to gay marriage, you open the doors to polygamy and other forms of marriage that are currently illegal.

Most of the skits were nonsensical, with no laughs even from the studio audience. Even the always reliable “Get in the Cage” failed with the humorless Liam Neeson. Marriage is a social contract in the Bible that predates America by thousands of years.

Since you seem to be someone who has a comprehension problem, employee headcount in 2009 would be a reflection of administration policies for the person who held office in CY 2008 (Bush). Since Obama assumed office in Jan 2009, there was little he could do to affect the headcount as of CY Sep 2009.

Marriage is only recognized between a man and a woman in 31 U.S. States.
The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) is a United States FEDERAL law that defines marriage as the legal union of one man and one woman. The law passed both houses of Congress by large majorities and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on September 21, 1996. Under the law, no state or other political subdivision of the U.S. may be required to recognize as a marriage a same-sex relationship considered a marriage in another state. Section 3 of DOMA codifies the non-recognition of same-sex marriage for all federal purposes, including insurance benefits for government employees, Social Security survivors’ benefits, and the filing of joint tax returns. DOMA is being challenged and may one day reach the SCOTUS, but is in force in the meantime. There is no reference to religion – signed state governed marriage certificates by those authorized civil and religious officials is what makes it legal.
