Club for Growth sends a warning to Mac Collins

Just in case former Georgia congressman Mac Collins in fact decides to mount a primary campaign against U.S. Rep. Paul Broun, R-Athens, Club for Growth, one of the most effective money trees in Washington, wants Collins to know what he’ll be up against. From the press release:

“Paul Broun is a defender of economic freedom and the Club’s PAC strongly supports his campaign,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “Paul Broun has fought the Obama agenda and liberals in both parties at every turn. If Mac Collins runs against Paul Broun, the Club for Growth PAC will work hard for his reelection and we are confident Club members will enthusiastically support his campaign.”

Club for Growth is Hair Club for Men’s biggest rival.

Paul Broun is one of the biggest fools/tools in Congress. Hope Collins runs. Club for Growth needs to mind their own business. Just goes to show the influence of money in politics, if not our government, when lobbying groups threaten candidates.

Who is Chris Chocola to decide the candidates who will face Georgia voters?

He was tossed out of Congress by his Indiana district and now feels entitled to decide for whom others should vote?

He and others like him are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

While I’ve never been a collins fan (his glass case of religious awards in his old Congressional office was enough to be quite off-putting), he towers over the ‘Dimmest Bulb In Congress’, paul broun.

How such a nitwit can be elected and re-elected in the 21st Century reflects directly on parts of our backward little state.

What about our state is “little?”

What about our state is “little?” Small, narrow minds for one thing, else how could paul broun be elected to congress.

Get used to this, people. The koch brothers and others in the 1% are now in charge of elections, from dog-catcher to the US Senate to the Presidency. Thank you Citizens United and the Roberts Court, for giving us a banana republic.

Anyone but Broun. Five marriages and a loop around Athens named after the fool.

How could we let Count Chocula control politics in GA?

Michael:

The loop is named after his father. We wouldn’t name the pound after Jr.

“Paul Broun, Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Democratic Georgia state senator Paul Broun, Sr. (1916–2005), who represented Athens and the surrounding area from 1963 to 2001. The younger Broun is a graduate of the University of Georgia at Athens and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is known for maintaining a medical practice based solely on house calls.”

“Club for Growth” is getting all of the credit for running gun-grabber, pro-illegal alien RINO Lugar to ground in Indiana…real credit needs to go to NRA and GOA whose members across the country are contributing to Mourdock.

I understand that the “Club” is strongly pro-immigration. That’s not the kind of “growth” America needs.

Real conservatives must read “Suicide of a Superpower” by Patrick J. Buchanan. This is the no holds barred bestseller which brought about Pat’s removal from MSNBC after screams from the ADL and “Color of Change” mobspitters. America’s future is pretty grim, according to Pat…he names the conspirators, quotes their admissions.

Paul Broun, the real Conservative, is going to win this seat.

Defender of economic freedom?!

What a laugh.

Notice the line about how Broun has fought the Obama administration at every turn.

So, what the Club for Growth (by which they mean growth at the top at the expense of the well-being of the middle and bottom) is really saying is that Broun has been working to cripple the economic recovery. There is no other way to slice that. Broun, the Tea Party, and the rest of the GOP have wanted nothing more than a complete failure on the part of President Obama’s successful economic policies.

Remember that going into the voting booth in November: The GOP, and Paul Broun especially, has been rooting for high-unemployment and a stagnate economy.
