Secret Service intends to ‘follow up’ on Ted Nugent’s comments about Obama
We told you this morning about the curious comment that rocker Ted Nugent, a Mitt Romney fan, made at an NRA convention in St. Louis:
”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
Here’s the context of Nugent’s remark, made in the midst of a tirade against the Obama administration and the U.S. Supreme Court:
The U.S. Secret Service, which is having problems of its own, pronounced itself curious by what exactly Nugent meant. From USA Today:
“We are aware of the situation and we’re conducting an appropriate follow up,” said Brian Leary, a Secret Service spokesman.

Funny, the Secret Service didn’t investigate the black panthers for the bounty they put on Zimmerman and that was a direct threat TO and AGAINST him. Yet, one person says something irrelevant in passing and boom, he’s a terrorist who has threatened the Messiah. Oh dear, let’s arrest him and put him in jail. What a crock.

He really said, “Dead or in Jail” and “Chop their heads off”. But the real problem is that so many people there were nodding in agreement during his rant and then clapping at the end.
That’s messed-up.
The NRA has a very powerful lobby, here in Georgia (guns in churches) and nationally. Is there any doubt that some nut will hear Nugent’s call-to-arms and take action?

I completely agree with Ted on the 4 supreme court justices. They are there for one reason to UPHOLD the constitution of the United States; how 4 of them could disagree with the second..the SECOND… amendment is unreal. The founding fathers knew this was the corner stone for a free democratic society hence the reason it is number two on the list. You look at the crowd that Ted was talking to and you see a lot of folks nodding their heads in agreement. They are dead serious about the gun issue and are armed to the teeth.
The key to this election is who Romney taps as VP. While he has constantly denied being interested, Marco Rubio will bring the Hispanic and more women voters in all areas of the country, especially Florida. Still, that may not be enough for the GOP to win. The only way for the Dems to have a slam dunk win on this election was to bump Joe Biden and make (retiring) Hillary the #2 on the ticket.
Oh, for the record, I don’t like any of the candidates that will be in the general election.
