Secret Service intends to ‘follow up’ on Ted Nugent’s comments about Obama
We told you this morning about the curious comment that rocker Ted Nugent, a Mitt Romney fan, made at an NRA convention in St. Louis:
”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
Here’s the context of Nugent’s remark, made in the midst of a tirade against the Obama administration and the U.S. Supreme Court:
The U.S. Secret Service, which is having problems of its own, pronounced itself curious by what exactly Nugent meant. From USA Today:
“We are aware of the situation and we’re conducting an appropriate follow up,” said Brian Leary, a Secret Service spokesman.

If a white face is President and America invades foreign countries, imperialism will be the familiar charge. But if a black face, mongrel face, is President, he will be viewed by the gullible masses as bringing the freedom that he never enjoyed to people everywhere.
They are so sadly mistaken. Those countries and black Americans would be better served if a white face is President. They can always make a white face pump the brakes by charging him with racism. That does not hold true for Obama.

The truth is Obama will get reelected. The best we can do is to make sure our state government is one that practices human compassion and decency. Georgia will always be a conservative state(At least in our lifetime)! Conservatism does not mean starting illegal wars in third world countries. Conservatism does not condone violent and low-class behavior. What does conservatism stand for? Conservatism stands for fiscal responsibility! Many of you want to continue to stand by Bush era republicanism! Obama is a saint compared to W. If one truly cares about this country, then they will begin to actively condemn the two terms that W served. What does one have to fear? I do not think the FBI will come after you if you flush out your racist mindset that Bush only further imprinted on your consciousness! It is extremely hard given the fact that every soul in America has been beat up badly! Remember this, however, and society will begin to work towards achieving its goals…This is the land of the free. It is supposed to be as free as a soaring eagle flying through the daylight breeze! Look beyond political parties. Republican ideologues are intoxicating society at all levels of government. The best solution is to restore the local conservative democratic party. By doing this, we can begin to fix one local community at a time and never look back at the skunk years left to us by W!!!

I doubt that there is any fear of those who hide behind firearms developing the courage to charge across a battlefield with only an edged weapon. From the news reports, it seems that they are only a threat when it comes to using a firearm without warning on the unarmed — a spouse or child in their household, people eating breakfast at a Waffle House, students at a high school or college, co-workers at the work place, etc. — or in accidentally shooting themselves or others.
