Breaking presidential news, oddly enough, from the Jewish Journal. Billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, the chief underwriter for the super PAC that has kept Newt Gingrich’s campaign alive, says time’s about up for his candidate:
Said Adelson:
“It appears as though he’s at the end of his line. Because mathematically, he can’t get anywhere near the numbers, and there’s unlikely to be a brokered convention.”

I can’t wait until this time in two years…
When the shrub tax cuts are history, unemployment is back down to Clinton Era levels, the offshore military adventurism is over and the production of pointless weapons systems can be substantially reduced…
Of course GA will still be attempting to legislate religion, restrict access to medical procedures, invent new ways for brother-in-law-companies to scam vital education funds, etc.

Good one JB, but that joke should alarm you if think of the outcome. You’d better hope Rubio is a solid as the rhetoric. We can’t handle more rhetoric, with no action.

What else are they gonna say. It’s all about votes. The Christians in this country, who vote, who have a voice, are a very large block of voters…..who just happen to be standing in the way of the progressive movement in this country. The plan is simple. Take the younger generation and make Christianity out to not be true or important, then that group becomes liberal voters in the future. It’s a strong tide that may not can be stopped.

honested…Really!?!?! Obama kept the Bush tax cuts with a Democratic House and Senate. He has nearly doubled the unemployments levels. If you think America will sit back and watch as Syria and Iran continue to spiral out of control, you are dellusional.
The left are the ones that are attempting to legislate religion out of America. You are hilarious!

UGA,
Quick, what was the unemployment rate when President Obama took office and the bush depression was in full swing? (Hint, it was more than halfway between Clinton levels and the peak).
Syria and Iran should be handled ‘locally’ as it is no concern whatsoever of the United States.
Americans are free to practice whatever superstition they wish to, or to be left alone and unencumbered by ANY superstition if WE wish.

See Greece for when the money runs out. Cut off the half of this country who do not contribute to the tax base, but depend on it, and God help you, don’t get caught in a big city. There was a guy who wrote a book about 20 years ago predicting this. He advised getting out of urban areas and into rural areas……….armed.

The public ain’t buying your math UGA 1999, anyone with a bit of analytical skill would realize Obama had nothing to do with the unemployment rate the first 6 months of his presidency which is where all the damage was done.
In fact according to the CNN poll released yesterday a total of 56% said our economic problems were primarily Bush’s fault, only 26% blame at Obama.

+5 Wisconsin
+3 Florida

Why doesn’t Obama ever run ad’s ( campaign) for what he really wants and believes in. You know, Ad’s, like on CBS. Let me give you a few ad subjects.
I’m President Obama, And I want for you the American people:
1. Abortion on demand, at any stage
2. Bigger taxes
3. $ 8 gas, as his energy director said, as to force us to energy sources WE DON”T HAVE YET.
4. Bigger and better entitlements, from the evil rich ( this one I think he runs)
5. One payer health system, ( he won’t say it, but wants it
6. Budgets are over rated, we really don’t need one
7. I have czars to take of those decisions. Congress is slow and out of step with modern America
8. The military is a big drain on resources for my agenda.
9. feel free to add your own.

@ UGA you love to just make up poll facts. to most recent polls from Florida
Quinnipiac 3/20-3/26 Obama 49 Romney 42
Rasmussen 3/13 Obama 46 Romney 43
There hasn’t been a poll from Florida with Romney up since January.
Danny I believe was referring to the additional polls released this morning from Penn and Ohio released today which show larger leads than the one in Florida.

NEWT surpasses the other 3 candidates. Newt is not another politician. You would have picked up on this fact if you listened to him speak for more than 5 minutes..so BRILLIANT..Normal politicians drop out of races when they run out of money. Not Newt. Money doesn’t buy love, however, money does buy elections!! He cares for this country and he is fighting for us. Newt has been leading the charge against Obama’s extreme agendas and then the other 3 candidates and the media follow. REMEMBER: the elite establishment picked our candidate..rammed him down our throat just like Obama did with the Obama Health Care..it will be a miracle if Romney beats Obama..NEWT was the one we wanted as our next President of the United States..

Fact. The Main stream press had Carter beating Reagan by 8 points 6 weeks out, Regan won by 6 points or so. about a 14 point swing. Nuff said. Wait till Romney spends 400 to 500 million showing this guy for what he is. He’s accomplished nothing.

Probably becasue what you put down is not what the President stands for. Everything he has passed he ran on.
1. He has never supported aborition on demand. He is pro-choice and has never hidden that fact
2. He has not hidden the fact that he wants to roll back the Bush tax cuts for those that make over $200, 000 per year. Check the campaign website its there
3.$8 gas, find me the quote. Dr. Chu wants to reduce our dependence on oil and so does the President. In fact we are using less oil.
4. Bigger Entitlements: Not sure what you mean Save medicare and SS yes. Obamacare is designed to put people in Exchanges (private insurance) the only ones covered by medicaid and medicare are the poor who currently are already there.
5.Single payer, find me one quote of the President supporting this one???
6. Budget: Simpson/Bowles; and a long term plan to balance which he and the Speaker where trying to work on until Cantor blew i t up.
7. Czars: Every president has sought to expand executive power. I can say that I am not a fan of this, but Dick Cheney sure was. Check some of his writings on the subject.
8.Polls suggest that the military is very supportive of the President and his responsible withdrawing of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. A Recent poll in fact stated that over 60% of Republicans wanted us out of Afghanistan. Pulling out of two wars certainly will allow you to reduce defense spending at a responsible level which is what the President has proposed.

While I don’t agree with every detail of either piece of legislation, they passed and are positives. Now people with pre-existing conditions have access to healthcare and young people (the largest gap of uninsured) can be covered on their parents insurance until they are 26. He repealed Don’t ask don’t tell, we are out of Iraq, Bin Laden is dead.
