Scrutinizing Mitt Romney’s biggest fan

Last night, the unstoppable Joe McCutchen of Ellijay attempted to explain his unmatched passion for Mitt Romney on Comedy Central.

Oscar Poole, famous for the bright yellow suit he wears to GOP conventions, unfortunately was campaigning for Romney in Florida and doesn’t make an appearance. But you still have to watch it:

I don’t know anything about Joe, but I sure would like to have a couple of gallons of whatever he is drinking.

What a remarkable man Joe McCutchen is, seriously, anyone his age that can think of Mitt Romney 8 times a day is doing pretty good.

Romney’s America: His income is in the millions ours is in the thousands. Romney’s effective tax rate is 13-15%.Our effective tax rate is 20-to 35%. We invest our money in banks in America. Romney invests his money in Swiss banks and the Cayman Islands. Romney has five sons; he nor any of his sons have any military service. Romney wants to send our sons to fight in Iran and other places to preserve his America… Romney does not want to pay $120,000.00 more in taxes. A majority of Americans thinks he should.
Romney says he believes in America. Question: Do you believe him???
Uuestion: Which America do you want???

Funny! I wonder what was Mr. McCutchen’s reaction to the interview once he caught onto what the comedian was doing w/ his hands…

vietnamvet, his tax rate is not that low. This is why nobody can have an intelligent tax debate…….nobody knows the facts. 1) He made over $7mm in charitable gifts which are tax deductible, thus lowering his rate, 2) The income from the businesses that he owns is taxed at 35%, and then taxed again at 15% when it gets paid to romney…….that’s a 45% tax rate, which is more than you “average” american pay.

So, yes, I’ll take Romney over Obama who criticizes Romney’s taxes because he either doesn’t know that much about tax law (which is scary because he is supposed to know as president), or he does know, but is trying to muddy the waters for political gain. Either way, Obama is not a man I can trust on this issue.
