Sarah Palin: ‘If I were in South Carolina, I’d vote for Newt’

Her husband already said he’d vote for Newt Gingrich. Last night, in a conversation with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin didn’t make a formal endorsement, but recommended that – in order to keep the Republican primary contest going – South Carolina voters pick Gingrich on Saturday:

Said Palin:

“I can tell you what I would do if I were a South Carolinian…If I were a South Carolinian though, and each one of these primaries and caucuses are different, Sean, I want to see this thing continue because iron sharpens iron. Steel sharpens steel. These guys are getting better in their debates. They are getting more concise.

“They are getting more grounded in what their beliefs are and articulating what their ideas are to get America back on the right track and getting Americans working again. If I had to vote in South Carolina order to keep this thing going, I’d vote for Newt and I would want this to continue. More debates, more vetting of candidates. Because we know the mistake made in this country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted to the degree he should have been.”

Most Republicans are tired and weary of Sarah Palin and couldn’t give a hoot in hell about her endorsement of Newt. In fact, HER endorsement is liable to cost Newt some votes, while Romney,
decent man that he is,has another decent man, McCain, endorsing him. Grow up, Newt, and
quit making the nomination process look like an elementary school playground fight.

Gm I heard that SC might come out strong for Obama in November election because of these non qualify republican candidates. The republican want Jeb Bush to jump in the race because they fear that Obama going to win another 4 years in office..

Danny, you’re correct: “If I were Sarah Palin, I would not make comments about a lack of vetting in the 2008 campaign.” McCain was a poor choice by the GOP in 2008, Sarah Palin? was just an attachment to a lost cause. They never had a chance at winning. Who give a flip about anyone’s endorsement. A political endorsement is only useful for people that are too stupid to think for themselves.

And you call conservatives haters. I have seen 10 times more personal hate of Palin and Newt on these blogs the conservative personal hate of Obama.

As far a intelligent level. I can see why people voted for Obama 3 years ago (Hope and Change, new way of running government, first black President). No person with any type of intelligence can justify why Obama deserves a second term. His first term is a total failure and anyone that would vote for him next year is nothing more then a cultist follower then an informed voter.

Obama is the least vetted President that we have had maybe ever. The only looking at his past and philosophy done by the press was in press releases from his own campaign. Hillary brought this up several times and everyone just ignored her.

However, since my campaign is on life-support, your endorsement might likely pull the plug on it.
Therefore, I am returning your endorsement. Please find it enclosed.

I’m voting for Newt. I just wish that Zell Miller would come out of retirement and be his running mate. Together they would make the difficult decisions that must be made so unfortunately they would only be one termers. THEY ARE ALSO THE ONLY REPUBLICANS THAT CAN WIN A DEBATE AGAINST OBAMA AND THE ASSOCIATED PRESS (you’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise). But I’m afraid it won’t happen. I think Romey takes the lead and at the last second gets skeletons in the closet reveled, weakening him allowing OBAMA-the wosrt president in the history of our great nation, the chance to get another term and take America all the way to Hell-hope I’m wrong).

You Obama fans are so far off I can’t even understand you any more. I SUPPORT HIM BECAUSE HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA but that’s where it stops. In my opin ion, he has done a worse job than any president in the history of the US. Granted he inherited some difficult issuses but after 3 years, any replubican would have fixed last year. Just be thankful the country voted in all the Repubs in the House 2 years ago. Otherwsie we would likely all be speaking Chinese and Russian which is exactly what’s going to happen 5 years from now if president Obama gets re-elected.

You are right that Reagan and even Bush will go down in history as much, much better President’s then Obama.

You libs can call what Obama did as stabilizing but the informed people knows all he has really done is drag out the effects of the recession. Nice try to spin but not many are buying the spin when you look at policy approval ratings. The only thing that is even keeping Obama in any type of contention is his personal likability numbers. His socialist policy moves are despised by the vast majority of the public.
