Eric Holder targets new voting laws in MLK speech

Republicans aren’t the only ones making news in South Carolina. From Politico.com:

Attorney General Eric Holder used Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy on the anniversary of the civil rights leader’s birthday Monday to emphasize the Obama administration’s dedication to protecting the American people from discriminatory voting practices.

“Despite our nation’s record of progress, and long tradition of extending voting rights – today, a growing number of citizens are worried about the same disparities, divisions, and problems that Dr. King fought throughout his life to address and overcome,” Holder said at an MLK Day event in Columbia, S.C.

Holder’s remarks in the Palmetto State come just weeks after the Justice Department blocked the state’s new voter ID law from taking effect, citing an unfair burden on minority voters.

Eric Holder AG is a racist liar and a criminal. Proper ID like a driver’s license is needed to cast a vote but the racist democrats are against it. Because it would hurt Obama’s chances of a re-election. Acorn would be out of business. That’s why this murderer Holder want’s to ban ID’s from being used in voting. Black folks you show a ID at the store and when you drive. Is that racist or Jim Crowe? NO. Why don’t you ask Holder if he’s going to allow the Black Panthers to bully are intimidate White Voters at the booths. I bet MLK wouldn’t let Holder act this way.The chicken$hit liberal media won’t do it’s job.

What problem is Holder trying to solve? Oh yeah, getting his boss reelected. If he were doing his job he would take a look at the political rally at Ebeneezer Baptist this week. Not a chance of that!

I’m surprised that it took Holder this long to go after Voting Rights legislation. However, I was hoping that he’d wait until AFTER the elections, (by then we’d have a great right wave flowing into all public offices and orifices — like the flu).

Actually, there are a number of problems for senior citizens, especially the transplants who came here in their later years to be near their grandkids. I watched a registered, 90+ year old veteran get turned away in 2010 because he had a wallet full of old papers proving who he was, but no current photo ID. Why not just GET one from the State? Sure! Just show ‘em enough valid, current paperwork and a photo ID. What? Born in 1915 at home in a small town up North and don’t have a birth certificate? What? Your house burn down in 1985 with your papers in it? Sorry. No vote for you, Grandpa!

Democrats and Republicans are interchangeable – there’s no difference. They are both totally dependent on corporate funding, and will kowtow to the corporations’ every need in return. Our immigration laws are not enforced because of the contributions made to corrupt politicians(pardon the redundancy) by those who benefit financially from cheap, government subsidized, labor. Both parties are complicit. And, those of you who think that Obama is going to come down hard on Wall Street, apparently aren’t aware that the White House is overflowing with Wall Street insiders. It is all a ruse to pacify the gullible and ignorant, and based on the passionate exchanges here, it seems to be working as planned.

January 16th, 2012
3:46 pm

Breitbart (biggovernment.com) people went to NH on primary day and tried to vote using names of registered voters who had obits published in the previous couple of months. They were allowed to vote every time, no ID needed. They stopped just before voting saying they felt better themselves having an ID, and walked out (thus, avoiding any actual crime, but making the point over and over again at various voting precincts). How many people use that method in states that don’t require IDs? I bet quite a few, and no one is the wiser. Just because you haven’t seen voter ID prosecuted doesn’t mean it’s not happening all around you.

Only up to a point. The Democratic Party and MANY of their followers including posters here have “The ends justify the means” mentality, and THAT is why they ignore voter fraud and ILLEGAL immigration. They even downplay the huge amount of fraud by pretending it is only “a couple dozen voter fraud instances in the last decade” and equivalent to senile voters who are brought to polls without proper ID.

It is the Catholic Church that wants the borders opened because they have a problem filling pews; and last I checked Catholic Bishops have gone so far as to deny communion to democrat politicians.

Why is Holder correct? Glad someone asked. The voter ID law says that you don’t have to have a photo ID to get a voter ID. Some think that is rather dumb, while Holder is focusing on voter suppression and voter fraud that are the mainstays of Dixiecrats. ACORN was guilty of voter registration fraud, not voter ID fraud. Can any Dixiecrat show where even one person voted using an ID that what improperly signed up through ACORN? Can a Dixiecrat show that it is worth the cost or could even come close to swaying an election in anyway? Yep, I feel even more better now.

Now if an official government agency will do this you can not tell me a campaign will not go out and teach people how to vote illegally.

Actually amusing that liberal posters claim the few folks with more than one house are a problem as they vote from each domicile risking charges. There is a long history of Democrat voters in blue states voting, but a rude leftist poster ignores that with his slander referring to Tea Party members. Then there are the ones that say “prove it” when it is obvious from the blocking minimum standards of ID and legal residents.

An example of how out of touch with reality or just plain disingenuous integrationist African American leaders are with the masses of African Americans is demonstrated when Reverend Frederick Haynes III spoke at the 44th Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. He claims to be a representative of God Almighty. He said during his speech that he gave his first class seat to an elderly woman… and after the airline heard of his act of kindness and generosity, they awarded him with 5 free flights…

Here is the deal. If you are a genuine servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you can rest assured that no one in a position of authority is going to recognize your good deeds. But if by chance it happens, a genuine servant of God Almighty would have given the 5 free flight tickets to the elderly lady too. The only gifts that an authentic, genuine servant of God Almighty will accept in this sin sick world are rejection, pain, punishment, mistreatment, imprisonment, and the grave. That is indispensible to genuinely serving God Almighty in a perverted Godless world.

Even though I wholeheartedly disagree with Martin Luther King’s integrationist ideology, he has to be respected for first and foremost trusting in God Almighty unto death as a Christian ought.

Amen?

Another soul that’s out of touch with reality is Reverend Raphael Warnock. He needs to get a job in the real world before commenting. Warnock had the audacity to be critical of Newt Gingrich because he lectured African Americans about their work ethic.

The excellent work ethic that Reverend Raphael Warnock attributed to African Americans has died or was forced out of the system along with the people who were reared by African Americans… I wouldn’t attempt to tell employers which African Americans are worthy of employment. It’s their prerogative.

The horrible work ethic that Newt Gingrich attributed to African Americans is alive with the people that were reared by the perverted New World Order integrationist crowd and their devilish black minions… When you are lazy and incompetent, the only thing you have to offer an employer is loyalty in the face of criminality.

Reverend Raphael Warnock does not appear to understand the transformation that has taken place over the past 25 years in the workplace, especially in regard to competent conservative white men.
