Herman Cain admits he should have told his wife about ‘friendship’

On Thursday, Herman Cain went visited the New Hampshire Union Leader, the newspaper he stiffed last month – and which subsequently endorsed former U.S. House speaker Newt Gingrich in the Republican presidential primary.

C-SPAN recorded the encounter and intends to broadcast it here at 6 p.m.

The topic of Ginger White was inevitable. A taste from the Union Leader:

He said he told his wife about White only after White went public.

Cain said that in retrospect he should have told his wife about his friendship with White, “but retrospect doesn’t necessarily change what’s going on now.”

It’s all over now for Mr. Cain. I never expected him to make it to the White House, but this is the last way I would have imagined his campaign ending.

@ Georgia Values posted “this is the last way I would have imagined his campaign ending.”

Why do you think that when Cain himself said he expected “a high tech lynching”?

Notice that Mr. Jim Galloway had to put quotes around “friendship” in his headline to indicate his presumption that it was more than that, and that Cain is automatically a liar.

Oh please. Why attack Mr. Galloway when you know Cain is lying. Any man giving money to a woman who is his “friend” but his wife doesn’t even know her is not doing it because he’s looking for a “personal charity” to donate to. Cain himself said if you don’t have money blame yourself. So, whey didn’t he tell her to “blame yourself”. Get your head out of the sand and realize that Herman Cain had a woman on the side for 13 years. He stated he is returning home Friday to speak with his wife face-to-face. He’ll be lucky to have a home to return to!

Big words from a short, fat, souless, little philandering punk. Gingrich has to get the GOP nod next summer. By no means an assured outcome.

But just for yucks, I’d be interested in what 40% of the government he intends to cut.

I will give Herman “Big Daddy Kane” the benefit of the doubt that he slept with any of these women. What’s wrong is that he knows, and has had some type of relationship whether personal or professional with them, each of these women. Most men wouldn’t have multiple friends accuse them of inappropriate behavior or an affair…. well unless you’re a perv.

Maybe Wood should ask for David Axelrod’ records too, to see if called Cain 10-days ago and remind the preacher that his 13-year “relationship” would come out and that he should inform his wife, tomorrow.

You don’t know what a czar is, Tom.

For the record, the first time I heard the word was when Reagan appointed a porn czar to write the Meese Commission report on adult movies. Ed Meese was worthless – like all Reagan henchmen.

Ollie North should be at GITMO.

As an FYI, it was Dubya who exploded the number of “czars” in an administration
He had 33, Clinton had 8 and Obama has 38. Given the rather large mess left behind by Dubya and his band of criminals, 5 additional “czars” does not seem excessive to me.

Well herman is headed home to face the music tomorrow with the missus.
I don’t know what kind of person she is, but were I her, I’d have the following questions lined up:

1. How long have you been giving money to this woman?
2. How much have you given her?
3. Why did you give this women any money?
4. Why was I not aware of it?
5. Are there any other women you have been helping out financially since we got married?
6. Who are they? When was the money given, how much and again why?

Herman should steal a page out of Kobe Bryant’s play book and show up with a 4 carat, Harry Winston sparkler and some roses.

I wonder if the secret service has to step in and wrestle Mrs Cain to the ground if she decides to hurl a soup tureen at Herman’s head?

Your continual rants and admonishments just make you look silly and even though you and I are on occasion, on the same side of the coin, you lack any credibility.

As for Herman… I had an uncle like Herman. Bluntly, he was an @$$h013! He was an extremely arrogant and “shrewd” self-made businessman. He exploited people (including family) to do legwork to advance HIS business, all while contemptuously and constatntly looking down his nose at them. He was LOUD and believed in shouting you down to put you on the spot and in your place (just like Herman). He placed himself on a pedestal and presented himself as having the highest moral character. YET, he was a notorious womanizer, but worked extremely hard to try to keep it under wraps. So really Herman’s character profile is blaring to me. It was apparent when I first started hearing him on the radio almost 10 years ago.

td..Newt, the Pillsbury Dough Boy has no chance of becoming the next president. His own selfish desires for women won’t let him. I can’t seem to figure out why people with the morals of an ally cat think it’s ok to cheat on their wives and be a public figure.

Before you start ranting about about Clinton, let me say, I DO think it was wrong for him to cheat on his wife. Hillary would have been within her right to divorce Clinton the cheater! I will not give Hermie a pass for doing the same ESPECIALLY, when he claims to be a man of God.

Mrs. Hermie should do like Jenny Sanford did. DIVORCE that lying, cheating husband and move on with her life. I’m sure she wont have any problem finding a younger, more attractive man than Hermie. By the way, Hermie is VERY unattractive. After all, Hermie’s preference for women is very light black women or WHITE WOMEN! So speaks HOT DOG!

The amusing side show of Cain’s alleged “problems with women” and his decline in the polls is that his former supporters are moving to Gingrich who has just as many “problems with women”.

What happened to the anti-Clinton “holier than thou” crowd? What happened to the lets impeach Clinton over Lewinsky crowd? What happened to values?

Answer: It was always a farce. There is no such thing as Republican values; there is only gutter politics.

Listen people my wife doesnt know all of my friends and sometimes when I help a friend out I dont neccesarily want to face her to explain that I just gave away a couple hundred bucks so my friend can pay his family’s rent or keep the heat on. Is it right of me not to tell her? no. Is it an affair? No. Its me helping a friend out. This story is complete crap just like the “so called” “not overtly sexually” harassed woman who got a “Settlement” (i.e severence pay that everyone is calling a settlement) But hey libs dont go letting facts get in the way!

The Newtster is starting to look like Lazarus. Given his ethical and moral issues, I would have never guessed he could resurrect a political career. Sadly, the fact the he is a legitimate contender for the GOP nomination tells you everything you need to know about GOP true believers. They will accept and overlook almost anything if it means a chance to regain the White House. Newt still has a chance to blow it—he’s not among the most self-disciplined candidates. Herman keeps denying everything, (his “Nein-Nein-Nein Plan”), but he’s such a narcissist he can’t see that he’s toast. And Romney keeps hoping he can make it through the primary season without being asked any questions, by anyone–even Fox. Apparently, he gets annoyed when someone tries to determine his position “du jour” on specific issues.

Oh, well. I’ve been largely disappointed in Obama, but given this group of hacks, he’s looking more like Abraham Lincoln everyday.
