Atlanta radio talk show host Neal Boortz said this morning that it may be time for Herman Cain to think about dropping out of the GOP race for president.
Why does this matter? Because the Cain campaign on Monday touted Boortz as one of several VIPs slated to attend the Saturday morning opening of a new Georgia headquarters in DeKalb County.
Like Boortz, Cain was a featured voice on AM750 and 95.5FM News/Talk WSB, until shortly before he began his run for president.
On Tuesday, a caller brought up the topic of Ginger White, the Dunwoody woman who says she had a 13-year consensual affair with Cain that ended earlier this year. Cain has forcefully denied anything improper – but said he was attempting to help the woman financially.
Said Boortz:
”I know Herman Cain. This does not sound like Herman Cain to me. It doesn’t sound like him…..Additionally, it is very curious to me that every allegation against Herman Cain has come from his three years at the national restaurant association….”
Boortz noted that White, like another Cain accuser, had lodged a sexual harassment complaint against an employer. But he added this:
”That being said, I can’t say whether or not the allegations are true. I can say that they are damaging. I can say, in my opinion – which is worth no more than yours – it probably pretty much puts a fork in Herman Cain’s chances of winning the GOP nomination. True or not, it does that.
“It may be rapidly approaching the time for Herman Cain to concentrate on his relationship with his family, and try to get through this thing.”
Update: NRO is reporting that Cain, in a conference call to supporters, says he is “reassessing” his candidacy.

It is a shame that we the American people allow this blatant character assassination happen in this country with no ramifications. Politics is a dirty business and Cain was the first one hit with unfounded allegations supported and assisted by the media.
This will be the dirtiest political campaign since Andrew Jackson.

td, Cain’s campaign didn’t deny the claims. Please stop it with the “unfounded allegations” nonsense. “Blitz” asked Cain if the woman was lying and Cain would not say that.
Please stop the lame excuses and review the obvious. It doesn’t matter anyway, he’s not running a campaign. He has put little investment in the early states and continues to be a book tour, not a campaign.
Again, I ask for common sense, not lame AM radio nonsense.

Anyone wonder why none of these accussations came out against Cain the first time he ran for a political office earlier in the 2000’s. And now he runs for President against a former speaker of the house (during the 90’s), they are coming out of the woodwork. Doesn’t anyone find it strange that with the exception of the lady who came out yesterday, all the other ones worked in DC during the 90’s. Now Cain’s numbers are going down the former speaker’s number are going up.

Cain is a true narcissist just as Boortz is, once these type of personalities get money they are always right and are incapable of seeing others opinion or feelings. Another trait of this type of personality disorder is arrogance; both of these guys have huge closets full of dirt. WSB is loaded with these types of people, it’s called the one percent, they do not believe in abortion and also do not believe in taking care of those less fortunate, then when people are brought up in object poverty they blame the same people for getting into trouble. They bring nothing to the table, make no products, just pander to the less intelligent for the likes of the Koch brothers to further their greed.

This may be a consensual affair, but doesn’t it leave the possibility open for later blackmail of Cain if by some fluke he wins the primary/national election? I think that’s why all of this is more than dirty laundry being aired. We need a “clean” presidential candidate for very practical reasons.

If this is all it takes to sabatoge a political candidate in the eyes of the public then – - – we are lost as a Nation (as we have known it). This is so transparent.
First – what is being accused here? Infidelity? Non-issue. My lifetime began in the Eisenhower years. How many Presidents in my lifetime have NOT had sexual relations outside of marriage in their lifetime? How many were unfaithful to their wives? Sexual mores have evolved, and I’d particulary point to the standards the Democrats applied in the Clinton case, trumpeted by the media.
Second – Why are these allegations (unsubstantiated at that) being raised at this time, and in this manner? To derail Cain’s candidacy, if possible. No other explanation is plausible.
Third – Why is the media trumpeting these allegations? To derail Cain’s candidacy. No other explanation is plausible. Look at the AJC – front page, photo of a teary-eyed woman looking as hurt as a professional photographer can make her appear. Why does she appear this way? Please explain. Where is there ANY shred of journalistic integrity? Completely unsubstantiated allegations, weak at that, trumpeted and blown out of all sense of proportion. Where is the investigative reporting the AJC hails as their hallmark? Non-existent; purely a political hit, gleefully executed.

This is all about Obama not wanting to run against another black american. That would be really bad for Obama because if Cain turns those people over to the conservative movement the entire Democrat party would be affected. They simply cant have that.
As for Cain, I would take every single women that has made accusations against him and file a lawsuite against them. Make them prove this in a court of law. Money damages and character? You bet. By the way, where is that man who takes the voices and tells who is lying? Would really like to hear this one. And again, why is it that all the accusers are from the Union? All of them are from the same union? Something is really funny here.

One other important point to make. Boortz and many others keep talking about “electability” in the context of selecting a GOP candidate who can beat Obama. This is a ploy in primary elections, designed to divert voters away from the candidate best representing their interests. Primaries exist for a reason; people should vote in their perceived self-interest and not be swayed by these tactics. This is NOT an election for High School Class President or Miss America – this is far more serious for all of us.
Ronald Reagan was deemed “unelectable”. And, if an independent/undecided voter is seriously considering voting Democrat they need to be EDUCATED as to the fallacy of thier political leanings. Reagan was the perfect candidate for that mission. Perhaps a Cain, or Bachmann, or Paul, or someone else with a strong conservative/libertarian voice can carry the banner in 2012. Don’t let the media shills silence your voice.

Morals aside, I don’t know ANY women who would continue a 13-year affair with a wealthy married man that didn’t pay her bills and put a roof over her head. She said LOVE wasn’t part of it, so what gives????

What is wrong with you people??
What does this have to do with the sitting president?
What does this have to do with character assassination?
One has to have a character to assassinate first!
The reason Cain was not targeted during his 2004 Senate run was because Isakson had nothing to worry about!! Why be negative when you have the race sewn up?
These are simple facts coming out. They came out for John Edwards, they came out for Bill Clinton which lead to impeachment proceedings, and now they coming out for Herman Cain. This is how politics work!! The right has been playing out of this book for years now and yet there are people who still can’t believe it…if the media is so evil and the GOP primary voters only listen to Fox News, then why are the poll numbers for the candidates dropping one after another? It’s because people, at their base level, have a line that if crossed the candidate no longer becomes credible. For some it’s extramartial affairs, for some it’s not knowing WTF you’re talking about. The point is no matter how much one tries to spin or manipulate or play the victim card, at day’s end those people going to the voting booth will decide based on the information in front of them. Please quit with the character assassination crap….it’s laughable that you think a person running for the most powerful office in the land won’t be scrutinized to this level. It’s one thing to hate the President blindly but that doesn’t mean the other side wins by default. If I were a conservative I would ask why the more credible (and electable) people aren’t falling over themselves to secure the GOP nomination this cycle.

If Neal had tuned in to WAOK AM 1380 this morning, he would have gotten the inside scoop from a guy who is personally connected to Ginger and had a personal encounter with Herman “creepin” with the girl at the apartment she shared with his girlfriend. His girlnand Ginger were room mates at the time. He had a TON of inside info. that I am interested in hearing come out. He did say that Ginger was a known gold digger and who has actually been married a couple times after deling with Herman to guys with a little money. Also stated that it will come out that Ginger met Herman at some Black Achievement Awards gala or something like that (still yet to be disclosed), and that she flipped on him because she was jealous that he was cheating on her (and his wife) with various White women. For the record, Ginger is the product of a Black mother and Jewish father, hence her look.
Face it. Karma is kicking Herman’s @z$ right now and he deserves it. Self righteousness and talking down to people gets you nowhere. Don’t blame the media for your downfall Herman. “BLAAME YO’SELF!!” Fraud bas—rd.

A-R-T-I-C-U-L-A-T-E-S in the future, he will stand a chance of having the correct noun/verb syntax, plural with plural. I do not see us ever having a President (I do not care what color) who uses improper grammar time and time again.
Though I am educated, I did not go to the best schools, but I know what I don’t know and something tells me this is not true of Mr. Cain.

The fact that primary Dem voters chose him does not mean he wasn’t scruitinized.
Add to the fact that Jeremiah Wright was a huge feature during the general election phase.
The people in 2008 chose Obama…he didn’t steal it…he was duly elected.
If the majority of the people who are complaining today are confident the President is a hapless failure then the people will choose the other person. Right? Maybe? No?

The double standard in this country works as follows: Bill Clinton (a white man) cheats on his wife with Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, and Monica Lewinski (in the Oval Office) and then lies about it under oath. Yet Bill Clinton is still considered a hero to the media.
On the other hand, Herman Cain (a black man and a Republican) allegedly cheats on his wife and is somehow considered unfit to be POTUS by the media.
It’s time to take back our country from the Jews in the media.

Good post JR..and exactly right the only reason Paul hasn’t been given same scrutiny is he’s a joke among most serious voters. Some of his stances make Obama look like a right winger. Having said that it probably is time for Cain to bow out gracefully ..he is a good man and when he leaves the race these women who came forth will quietly disappear into the night of unimportance now they got their 15 minutes of fame and probably never be heard from again now they did the job they were assigned to do. Its a terrible thing to see…that things from a man’s past almost 20 years ago have to be the discussion instead of a dying economy and a nation that just don’t feel good about its future. Obama won’t run on anything he’s done in four years but his agents of smear will make sure when the Republican nominee does get picked they will be put through one of the worst mudslinging experiences of their lives- .Cain is just another example of how much of a travesty politics has become in America. , I’m not going to NOT vote for someone because they had an affair, or was accused of having an affair, or whatever with another adult (and I mean someone WAY over the LEGAL age), but that said, I’m voting on issues or an issue that will benefit my country. If Cain were elected to office, and fufilled the 9-9-9 thing I’d vote for him to have another 4 years. I’d vote for President Obama if he shared my ideas, or ideas that I thought would help our country fiscally, and actually, if he’d have results before election day.
I wish our country would undivide, unite, and force these elected officials to DO THEIR JOBS. I’ve been around for decades, and in all of my life of actually paying attention to politicians’ words (pre-election) and their actions (post election)–I’ve noticed that–where they in any other job like out at McDonald’s or if they where a secretary or administrative assistant or manager like, ANYWHERE but Congress or the White House or their local state house & senates, & districts–they’d be FIRED for not doing anything and having the audacity to blame their COWORKERS for the reason that they couldn’t get their jobs done. OH MY GOSH, if a kindergaten student acted–in class–the way these ADULTS act on their jobs–or in public (the bashing of their coworkers & bosses & superiors & subordinates–or in the case of a kindergarten student–their classmates–or teachers–or parents–or day care providers–we’d say the kid had a SERIOUS problem with behaviour, manners, temperment, and self-control. They’d likely receive poor conduct, and forever be attending a parent-teacher conference to address their nasty, non conducive to a healtful -work-environment attitude.
WHY do we hold KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS to a much higher standard than POLITICIANS–HOW LONG HAVE THESE PEOPLE BEEN IN SCHOOL???????????? They ought to have learned better manners by now! Maybe they don’t act like that behind closed doors–but they sure give me a headache with all of that “the democrats this!” “the republicans that!” and “stupid liberal” “dumb conservative” WICKEDNESS!!!!! I wouldn’t mind their successful dog and pony show charlatous act–but it’s spilling over NASTILY into the people. And infecting our manners, and making us divided. They divide us, now they’ve conquered us. They are the ONLY servants in the HISTORY OF SERVITUDE that have successfully garnered wages higher than their masters (we the people–aka the “public” in their titles “PUBLIC servants”), successfully done NOTHING and NOT been fired by their masters, and keep returning to work year after year after non-America/The World promoting policy year by saying, “well bossman, I couldn’t get the plow to work because those danged OTHER servants of yours keep pushing my plowback, see ya later, though, I gots to go on break (a week for Easter, a few weeks for Christmas, heck, they even break for summer—OH MY GOSH, what are they in grade school????????????)! WHAT A SHTICK they’ve got going here! My bretheren, they’re liars, and they’re going to put the nail in the coffin of not only AMERICA but the ENTIRE WORLD if we don’t get wise to these stirers of strife and work together to hold their feet to the fire and work on solutions amongst ourselves and send in our orders of what WE want to them and MAKE them do it with threat of voting them OUT if they continue MESSING UP THIS COUNTRY and the rest of the world with their self-servitude! If we don’t we’ll be SERVING THEM FULLY. I’ve never been to China but I do NOT want to know the full of extinct of a lifetime forced to “eat bitterness”–> I don’t know the proper Chinese translation but to “eat bitterness” is a common phrase amongst the Chinese factory workers who make the world’s goods under near slave conditions, and have NO say, NO CHOICE really, in how they want to live their lives. The Communist government in China has a lot of power. They, the people…do not have any. I hope that we don’t end up like this. But we are in a system of servitude whenever our life’s needs and necessities–food, shelter, clothing, transportation, a bed, electricity, etc are GIVEN to us by someone else, because when we take those things, we have to take EVERYTHING ELSE that comes along with them–no matter how sick the abuse.

Many disagree on this issue, but history tells us consensual infidelity is far different from sexual harassment. The ability to govern is not fatally flawed by philandering (though it’s hard to overcome the issue of dishonesty, not all adultery is born of dishonesty.) harassment on the other hand, is a character flaw that makes one unworthy of public office. Sexual harassment is the deliberate act of control. Our history is full of adulterous presidents, not many proven harassers.

With a 9/11-committing, homosexual, draft-dodging psychopath now a former POTUS – tipped, according to its employees, with the unheralded gift of 11% of all U.S. oil and gas distribution (Colonial Pipeline/Perimeter Terminal) – who really isn’t qualified for the office?

Hot Dog- Glad you have not lowered yourself to name calling. I was just wondering, where is the NAACP, Jesse, Al and the rest of the bunch. Why are they not coming to the defense of Cain?

I am finding it really hard to believe this newest woman is claiming she had a 13 year affair with
Herman Cain who went through colon cancer in 2006. It is easy to say bad things about someone
WHERE IS THE PROOF? I see it as a bluff to ruin this man’s Presidential race.
Think outside the media box

My gut feeling is that Herman Cain is a very decent man. He has a beautiful wife and family.
Then take a look at the trash that have come out to destroy him. All of them have been in trouble
legally, are single woman in money trouble. Does anyone have commonsense anymore? or will
you let the media make up your mind for you.
