The lessons of Arizona, Mississippi for Georgia Republicans

On Tuesday, state lawmakers will begin submitting bills for their colleagues’ consideration in January, when the Legislature returns to Atlanta.

We are entering an election year, which means more than a few of the measures will be intended to stir the blood and drive GOP voters to the polls in November.

But stir the blood too much and the patient revolts. Votes in Arizona and Mississippi last week may have set boundaries for Republicans in Georgia when it comes to two hot topics: Abortion and illegal immigration.

Let’s address the more subtle of the pair first: Last Tuesday, voters ousted Republican Russell Pearce, president of the Arizona state senate and architect of that state’s illegal immigration law — which became a model for Georgia’s HB 87, passed earlier this year.

Opponents of state attempts to enforce federal immigration laws called Pearce’s defeat a victory. But Pearce was replaced by another Republican who also supports Arizona’s approach. Reports from the Southwest indicate that the difference between the two candidates was one of tone.

Pearce came across as sharp, mean-spirited and heedless of the consequences of his legislation. At least that’s the warning that some GOP lawmakers in Georgia have taken to heart.

“Both sides need to lay aside their ideology,” said House Majority Whip Edward Lindsey, R-Atlanta, who will be in charge of rousting that chamber’s votes for Republican causes next year.

Lindsey voted for HB 87 last year, and says there’s no chance that the GOP-controlled Legislature will back away from the measure.

But Lindsey was one of several Republican legislators given tours of south Georgia farms where crops were left to rot this summer — after migrant workers fearful of arrest fled the state.

Republicans do not want an alienated south Georgia.

An attempt to create a guest worker program is likely next year, he said. Such things usually require coordination with — and approval from — the federal government. But the symbolism could be important.

“If my friends in south Georgia want to see us try to put the cart before the horse, to show the federal government that we’re serious about a guest worker program, we’ve more than happy to take a look it,” Lindsey said. “I think the state probably needs to show its willingness to run with it once the feds are willing to give us that leeway.”

Last month, state Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, a Republican, testified at a U.S. Senate hearing endorsed a “penalty-based work authorization permit” for illegal immigrants already here.

Would Lindsey’s House colleagues consider that idea? “I don’t know,” the House whip said. “That’s something that needs to be put on the table, along with a lot of others I’ve heard.”

Mississippi is another matter. Voters there were presented with a proposed amendment to that state’s constitution that would have declared life to begin at fertilization. All abortions would have been banned, some birth control methods would have been made illegal, and physicians and the use of in vitro fertilization would have been curtailed.

The amendment, designed as a vehicle to overturn Roe v. Wade, was rejected by 58 percent of some of the most conservative voters in the country. Similar legislation — under the name of “the Human Life Amendment” — has been rejected by House GOP leaders in Georgia. Tuesday’s results in Mississippi are likely to reinforce that decision, especially as a means of driving GOP voters to the polls.

“Certainly we’re going to listen to our caucus,” said Lindsey, who has chaired hearings on the issue. “But the same concerns I had about the Human Life Amendment I still have today. I believe it has a lot of unintended consequences.”

Moreover, Lindsey said the proposed amendment splits the pro-life movement. The Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta is among the opponents. “I don’t want to see another civil war break out among pro-life organizations in Georgia,” he said.

Dan Becker, on the other hand, thinks the war needs to be fought — as a revolt against the “tired arguments of timing that the pro-life leadership has been putting out there for the last 24 years.”

Becker is president of Georgia Right to life, and sits on the board of directors of Personhood USA — one of the groups behind the proposed Mississippi amendment.

Two Georgia lawmakers, one in the House and one in the Senate, are prepared to drop legislation to renew the fight here, Becker said.

The lesson of Mississippi, the GRTL leader said, is that the implications of the measure needed to be spelled out beforehand, in legislation that would accompany it. To ease legitimate concerns and combat illegitimate ones.

“We have 50 sections of the Georgia Code being worked on right now. That will determine what will and won’t happen,” Becker said. “We won’t have doctors prosecuted for ectopic pregnancies. Women will not be prosecuted for miscarriages. Passports will not be issued to the pre-born.”

A constitutional amendment requires two-thirds passage in the House and the Senate. “That’s not going to happen without the leadership being in favor of it,” Becker concedes. “We’re cognizant of that. We’re in it for the long term.”

You left out the idiot in Arizona (Pierce) is one who stuck his nose in an agreed redistricting ammendment that voters passed and they snubbed their nose at voters. That had more to do with his defeat than any immigration stand.

Any illegal immigrant guest worker program by the state than undermines federal law and invites more slave wages for workers of this state will be dealt with harshly by voters.

Of course, the Georgia franchise for FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform), the Dustin Inman Society, has already posted information that says Russell Pearce’s recall has NOTHING to do with the public’s view on the FAIR-style state enforcement laws.

I was actually surprised that the personhood amendment was rejected in Mississippi. I understand that some people are opposed to abortion, but these whackjobs don’t seem to understand that abortion is a personal decision that should be left up to the woman who is trying to decide whether or not to have one. The personhood amendment is a classic example of reaching way too far in this battle.

Correction: Personhood USA was not “the group behind the Mississippi amendment”. Personhood Mississippi, a group allied with Personhood USA, drafted the amendment with their own legal council separate from Personhood USA. Personhood Mississippi’s director and the amendment’s sponsor, Les Riley, lives in Hickory Flat, MS. He was the one that got the language of the amendment approved for the ballot initiative, and his organization took the lead in getting the initiative on the ballot. The support of Personhood USA and other pro-personhood organizations in Mississippi such as Pro-Life Mississippi where instrumental in obtaining the signatures of over 130,000 voters to get the amendment on the ballot. Likewise the campaign coalition of Personhood Mississippi, Pro-Life Mississippi, Personhood USA, American Family Association, Christian Action Committee, and other organizations joined forces for the amendment.

What’s wrong with this picture? They will consider all kinds of legislation that they really don’t care about, just to “stir the blood”, but won’t even consider letting us vote on having casinos operate in the state to generate needed jobs and money!
Also, don’t sell those of us in NGA down the river who need some relief drom the occupation of the ILLEGAL hordes from the south who are DRAINING our resouces, just to save some crops in the field. They better do the math and realize where the votes are!

Nothing will be done this year, because the republicans will kiss the ass of those ignorant,
religious-right fanatics who think they can turn back times. One day, the prior generation, and my generation will die out, and thank GOD, there will less hate in this state.
Look at the young people if you need a for instance. They don’t give a hoot if 2 men or women get married, and you better believe that they are in tune with what you old white conservatives are up to.

The Republicans like to keep abortion and bash immigrants to this country because they have no plan. The real problems Georgia faces are the lack of a coherent transportation policy and anything to bring jobs back to Georgia. The great railroad boom between 1870 and 1900 was subsidized by government funds. We need to invest in rails again as an alternative to traffic-chocked highways. No one wants a super highway in their back yard.

The state government sends jobs to India by awarding its healthcare contract to United Healthcare and Cigna, which process the claims in India. The state helps to keep jobs overseas.

Why, oh why do journalists continue to tie illegal aliens to crops rotting in the fields? According to a story on NPR, 3% of the illegal aliens work in agriculture. In Georgia, the figure is probably not 1%. Why do the jounalists never ever write articles that focus on the negative sides of this issue? There are a lot more negatives than positives. As an earlier poster said, Georgia’s taxpayers would be light years ahead, if they paid for the farmers’ labor – not just subsidize it, pay for all of it.

If you want to see the whole picture, just travel up the road to Dalton, the epicenter of illegal aliens in Georgia, and there’s not a rotten vegetable for hundreds of miles. The carpet cartel, who totally controls the town politically, even used over a million dollars of taxpayers’ money to help recruit them. They also used carpet mill corporate jets to fly in Mexicans to train school teachers. My point is, that it has very little to do with farmers in South Georgia, but that is what the media focuses on.

They also don’t focus on the fact that it is not only the illegal aliens who are displacing Georgia’s natives from the job market, but the hordes of Hipanics that follow the illegals, to take advantage of the chaos that is created by the language barrier. In Dalton, every business and government office in town is forced to employ Hispanics. A local kid that wants an entry level job as a bank teller or receptionist, is out of luck. They have also taken thousands of other, higher tiered jobs, and displaced hundreds of small business owners. Also, having to use interpreters cuts production in half and adds the expense of the interpreter. It’s insane.

Dalton has the highest percentage of unemployed workers in the state, and the job market favors the Hispanics, who are only here because of the carpet industry recruited tens of thousands of illegal aliens, which established the demand.

Dalton has the highest percentage of unlicensed and uninsured drivers in the state. Dalton has the most welfare fraud, stolen SS numbers, tax fraud, The Hispanic car dealer, and there are many, are already stocking their lots for the anticipated millions of dollars of fraudulently obtained Earned Income Tax Credits. Millions of dollars more aren’t being collected in sales taxes.

No one is enforcing the use of WICK or EBT vouchers. I have seen numerous women filling their carts with gallons of milk, diapers, and other commodities, that they swap with the mercados for cash.

I haven’t even made a dent in all of the negatives associated with this issue. There are many, many, many reasons why opening the gates to accomodate farmers in South Georgia, when 99% of the illegal aliens, and the hordes of Hispanics who follow them, are elsewhere in the state.

Clearly understood.

Until we frog march the employers (HR to CEO) in front of the cameras and give them all LONG prison sentences, nothing will change.

Of course if we HIRE CITIZENS and pay them LIVING WAGES, we might have to pay a little more for carpet, or peeled chickens, or Vidalias.

Big deal!

The corporate media is all over the issue when bankers, insurance companies, or mortgage brokers are ENTITLED to every penny they want. So why is it different when CITIZENS are deprived or realistic wages and imported slaves are allowed to build a sub-class at the cost of everyone else?

As to the headline, no Georgia repugnicans won’t learn anything from the huge losses for wrong-wing overreach in the rest of the country. They don’t seem to have learned anything since the civil war.

It’s morally correct to look after our own suffering people first, as we have no obligation to foreigners, no matter their motherland? We have thousands of homeless veterans, left to wander in our streets; even single mothers with children, the sick and unwanted. We have our own share of poverty, without being responsible to people who have already scorned our laws. If Pro-illegal immigrant activists think they can intimidate pro-sovereignty entities, as akin to the Dept of IN-Justice is performing the same restraints against Arizona, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana and South Carolina—they are poorly mistaken—as there is a building strengthening majority of every walk of life, every American, called the TEA PARTY.

Most Americans respect people who follow the law, but just appearing and asking for handouts—forget it. Even the highest of skilled occupations, must be vetted through FBI, physical and previous employment examinations, sometimes waiting years. Those who illegal cross borders, fly in and overstay have no reverence for our countries people. What is happening right now and adding to our own unemployed is people escaping poverty, the drug dealers and criminals.

In the Austin Daily Herald reports: “There are rumors people are losing their jobs at local plants as well, due to increased hiring scrutiny amid federal immigration programs. Displaced workers who fear being fired and/or deported are going to Arcadia, Wis., to work for the Ashley Furniture plant or to Postville, Iowa, or St. Joseph, Mo., to work at other meat processing plants.” Companies that have already violated ICE audits and prosecuted, have seen a large increase of regular Americans and lawful residents, lining-up for jobs—as illegal workers run off.

Out of work Americans and patriotic citizens and residents can speed up this exodus, by promoting the E-Verify mandatory enforcement program, especially if President Obama signs a new directive for a job program in ‘Construction.’ These jobs should be going directly to unemployed workers in these particular occupations. Those not working and want a job should get into action and phone 202-224-3121. This is the Washington switchboard that can direct you to all House Representatives responsible for moving Chairman Lamar Smith’s ‘Legal Workforce Act’ (bill H.R.2885) to the house floor. Especially confront the new members sent to Congress by the TEA PARTY. Additionally, you can learn more about the illegal alien occupation, which permeated every community from Vermont to Arizona by going to NumbersUSA web site. Judge for yourself the truth, instead of reading the craftily engineered vitriol propaganda from the two parties.

Become a TEA PARTY member and see what you can do to halt this economic mess, with billions of dollars annually going as free public assistance, to illegal aliens who break our laws. The TEA PARTY will enforce our immigration laws and construct the fence(s) as originally enacted in 2006. Thousands of Hispanics have joined the TEA PARTY, whose families go back generations. Only the households that have something to hide are moving towards the Obama administration. People, who respect the laws of the land, have no commitment to illegal immigration and are adamantly opposed to even their own race, color, faith if they broke the law.
THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY CHANGE IN CONGRESS, LAWS, AND POLICIES IF THE SAME MIXTURE OF LIBERALS, DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS HAS THE EMPOWERMENT TO RULE US. WE CAN ALTER THIS WRONG DIRECTION OF OUR ECONOMICALLY CRIPPLED SOVEREIGN LAND, BY VOTING MORE TEA PARTY LEADERS IN THE SENATE AND HOUSE. ALL AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT NOT PROSCRIBED IN THE CONSTITUTION WILL BE LIQUIDATED, MERGED, PURGED OR RETURNED TO THE CONTROL OF STATE GOVERNMENTS.

Smith’s Legal Workforce Act (H.R.2885) would require 100% of companies—large and small– to use E-Verify for all new hires within 2 years. This bill would also require all federal, state, and local agencies as well as federal and state contractors/ sub-contractors and critical infrastructure sites to use E-Verify within 6 months. Increase employer penalties and fines for knowingly hiring illegal alien workers. Require the Social Security Administration to send no-match letters to employers if a current employee’s name and social security number don’t match in their system. Require the Social Security Administration to notify owners of a Social Security number if their number is used multiple times.

The old lethargic propaganda from the Left side of the aisle, that Americans will not do dirty jobs—is a big fallacy—it’s about good wages and benefits. Young men are rushing to North Dakota for drilling operations in an oil bonanza, because they are earning a 100 grand annually. They have created 30.000 jobs and people can get some of the action. It’s cold and dirty work, but nobody is complaining.

Remember Liberals, Democrats and Republicans will concoct any rhetoric, to dislodge any candidates, other than their own chosen favorite. Democrats will manipulate voting using such unpalatable organizations, as ACORN. The activists that run this group, is re-organizing under a different name in New York. Previously they were hiring persons of ill-repute, to register anybody who could sign their name—non-citizens and illegal aliens. Most American states have poor laws respecting the citizens right to vote and Arizona is no exception. With overwhelming numbers of illegal aliens in occupancy, the State Senator who was recalled could have been compromised. Having only to show two pieces of personal ID, such as a utility or water bill, could be manufactured on any computer. With the hasty arrival of the 2012 election, state voters must demand a picture ID, with proof-positive that the owner is a US citizen.

The name of the game from both sides is money and power. More votes for the Liberal Progressives, hidden away under the Democratic veil. Elitist Republicans like the way things on the beltway, as they have always been. Both parties will reclaim the ‘Pork’ and the special interests with the money bundler’s and the never ending stream of financial engineers from ‘K’ Street lobbyists. Only the TEA PARTY established as a majority in the Senate or House can return America to it principle foundations as written into law by our founding fathers.

“Until we frog march the employers (HR to CEO) in front of the cameras and give them all LONG prison sentences, nothing will change.”

You are correct, but it isn’t going to happen, as long as people continue to blindly accept the politicians that the greed driven business community chooses for them. Just read what Jack Abramoff is saying about how easy it was to bribe the politicians, and their staffs – he personally bought off over a hundred of them – had a staff of people purchasing tickets to sporting events, spending over a million dollars a year.

The latest is that they are doing insider trading in the stock market, on stocks that their legislative activity is going to affect. We have the most corrupt politicians that money can buy, and people keep blindly electing them. Just look at the mess they have created, and people continue to elect them, based on their party affiliation, and nothing else. Deal is a prime example of that.

There was a day when you had to ride a horse for for weeks to get to Washington, and I can understand why people didn’t know what was going on then, but now, with instant communications, there is no excuse for allowing this to continue.

Going back to a business that I know, the CEO of one of Dalton’s major carpet mills contributed the maximum amt allowed to Deal’s campaign, as did other key employees, and they also gave him the use of their facilities for fund raising events. Keep in mind that this is the champion anti-immigration fight’n governor. His other major supporters are the chicken pluckers in Gainesville, who are right there with the carpet mills, as the largest entities employing illegal aliens.

You have to be mighty, mighty dumb to not connect two and two. Unless people quit listening to actors, reading corporate talking points, on the radio, and believing the dramatic nonsense, they are going to run this country into the ground.

Instead of going into the contentious issues of a hundred billion dollars plus spent on supporting the illegal immigration invasion; the overcrowded schools, the free hand-outs of health care treatment and criminals arriving here, the instant citizenship for children of illegal parents, so they can get welfare and a foothold in America.–MANDATORY E-Verify can solve the majority financial problems, by enacting the ‘LEGAL WORKFORCE ACT’ (bill H.R.2885) It has taken years through complete indifference by our politicians, to get in this political mess. We will not get out of this mess overnight. But Rep. Smith’s sponsored law is gaining momentum, as he only needs 43 more supporters. Those not working and want a job should get into the action and phone 202-224-3121. This is the Washington switchboard that can direct you to all House Representatives responsible for moving Chairman Lamar Smith’s ‘Legal Workforce Act’ (bill H.R.2885) to the house floor. E-Verify main empowerment, causing self-deportations. Simply speaking–if you cannot be verified through E-Verify, then you cannot be hired. If you are flagged, your option is to rectify the problem by talking to the Social Security administration people. THIS WILL DISPLACE ILLEGAL WORKERS FROM JOBS NATIONWIDE, ALLOWING CITIZENS AND LAWFUL RESIDENTS TO TAKE THEIR PLACE.

Become a TEA PARTY member and see what you can do to halt this economic chaos, with billions of dollars annually going as free public assistance, to illegal aliens who break our laws.
Be vigilant when voting as our government is ignoring that illegal aliens are voting and could be grossly detrimental in close races. This is perjury and is prosecuted with fines and prisons, but Democrats and liberals overlook this law.

First step to any immigration reform is to REQUIRE every non-citizen to register & get photo ID and answer “census” -type questions so those deciding the issue can begin to understand the scope of the problem. Those that do not register & get photo ID do NOT get citizenship consideration.

Unless the US can get a handle on illegal immigration, we may as well start negotiating w/the gov’t of Mexico to become a “United States of North America”.

Last evening Mrs. Bachmann suggested the she would eliminate AFDC in a paen to China’s lacking any social safety net, when AFDC was regrettably eliminated fifteen years ago and despite China now actively developing a social safety. Mr. Romney, is stuck in the 1950’s, seeing this country as “leader of the free world” and suggesting another invasion in the Third World. Messrs. Cain and Gingrich see the Geneva Conventions as an inconvenience that can be ignored. Mr. Perry, when he can remember it, wants to eliminate the agency that controls nuclear energy, as if this was a time before the Manhattan Project. All reject science when it contradicts faith, want to restrict a woman’s freedom for the same reason, and intend to relegate government to a past posture in contradistinction to present needs or future challenges. You keep saying this as if the Republicans controlled Congress. The Republicans only control the House of Representatives. The Senate is controlled by the Democrats. Not only do the Dems control the Senate they also control the WH. They control 2/3 of government and you want to blame the Republicans. The Senate is the body that has done absolutely nothing. The House has sent 15 bills to the Senate that would help produce jobs and the Senate will not take them up. The normal process is for the Senate to take up the bill, debate the bill, amend the bill and send it back to the house. Why will they not take the normal process? Could it be because the plan of the Dems is to run for office by blaming the Republicans? Could it be the Democrats have decided that they can not win re election on their record and are trumping up charges against the Republicans?

There is an increasing opposition to illegal aliens in the US. I have followed blogs here on the AJC and the New York Times for years.

The New York Time continues to advocate for illegal aliens, but the responses to these articles show that US citizens are fed up with the invasion of illegals and the subsequent costs to local taxpayers.

With the current recession and the fact that it will not improve much over the next 5 years, politicians should fear taking stances that advocate for illegal aliens. They will be losing their constituents support.

If illegal aliens were more dispersed throughout the country, even more US citizens would be outraged. If you examine the census data, you will find that many states/regions don’t have a serious illegal alien problem at this time, so those US citizens don’t see what all the fuss is about. In states that do have an illegal alien problem, US citizens, especially those that are unemployed, are increasingly opposed to illegals an foreign nationals working in the US on H1-B visas.

Illegal immigration is a jobs/economic issue not a racial issue as illegal aliens are of all races and nationalities.

Rick said…
“If illegal aliens were more dispersed throughout the country, even more US citizens would be outraged.”

It is a relative issue. I can say with confidence that the vocal illegal alien advocates here haven’t been personally impacted by their presence. I have.

During the late real estate bubble, when banks were issuing no-doc mortgages to literally anyone with a pulse, and giddy real estate agents were discovering the huge profitability of blockbusting, solid middeclass neighborhoods were laid to waste all over Dalton.

During that period, I came home from work one day to discover that the house next door had been sold to Hispanics, and intially thought that the 12 cars parked all over the lawn were just the moving party, and were temporary. I was wrong. I estimate that between 15 and 20 people moved into a three bedroom, two bath house, with a septic system designed for a single family. Needless to say, within months, I took a substantial loss, and moved from the home that I had planned to remain in for several more years.

I was fortunate to have the resources to absorb the finacial loss, but thousands of people around Dalton were trapped. When the bubble burst, and the carpet mills tanked, hundreds of these Hispanic boarding houses were foreclosed on, and are now empty. Today, Dalton looks like a war zone.

Needless to say, I have zero sympathy for farmers in South Georgia, and I am sick of hearing about only that facet of the story. It is apparent that the media is as complicit as the employers and lowlife politicians.

The ’supercomittee’ is a sham.

The ‘cuts’ won’t go into effect until 2013 and would be easily eliminated by whatever lame duck Congress exists after the 2012 election. No real pressure, just election talking points.

The main thing I want to see occur is NO EXTENSION of the failed shrub tax cuts. Our national budget was nearing a real equilibrium (minus the Afghan fiasco off budget costs and every penny associated with the Iraqi War of Choice) until shrub/cheney decided to radically reduce Federal revenue with no corresponding cuts or requirement for sacrifice to pay for the ill advised military expansion.

Therefore, after revenues have returned to NORMAL and such revenue adjustments are no longer a point of argument, revisit everything about budgeting. Then cut MIC (pointless weapons, offshore basing, mission-less aircraft built in Marietta just to protect the jobs of a couple of Congress midgets and Senators) and get serious about real budget priorities.

Does that approach your question?

Honested. thanks for the reply.I thought mandatory automatic cuts would kick in if no agreement was reached.I need to read again.I know they were looking for ways to avoid big pentagon cuts.

GT/MIT,

Welcome to the JG blogs where a vast majority of the people do not know what a philosophy is and they just think (Dem good, Repub bad). The same people on this blog now saying Obama will win in a landslide are the same people that were on here two years ago stating Barnes would win in a landslide.

Wow, Jimmie! I’m so glad you’re back and belittling the Republicans again! I think you must have heeded my advice and got your Voodoo doctor to prescribe a much stronger med that even Prozac would pale in comparison to! Great too, that all your socialist loonies are back on line, too. Keep up the good work and keep the Al Jezerra Chronicle tops in its class(less) newspaper rankings.

That is an easy one, the death penalty is the consequences one has to pay for maliciously taking anothers life.”

This response gives away the sole moral ground upon which pro life advocates stand. That is, only God can give or take life. Once you start down the slippery slope of justification, then all you have is the substitution of man’s will for God’s.
To elaborate, if you can justify killing for a crime, it’s merely a justification. That means you would not be prevented from other justifications – say “women should have control over their own bodies”

This post is not intended to express an opinion on the abortion or death penalty issue. It is only to illuminate the flaws in the argument of the previous post.

Golly Liz, you just never quit do you? Even dogs need sleep, no offense intended. As I suspected, from the content of your post I notice you do have a problem with the written word, albeit a slight one.

Oh and by the way, were you shouting at me?

It is noboby’s place to tell a woman what to do with her own body in regards to abortion. The GOP needs to get their noses out of peoples personal lives and stop trying to dicate social issues. We are Americans, and can do as we please. Its none of their business. As for illegals, any group that tries to stop enforcement of the laws, aid or protect illegals is traiterous to this country. Illegals are criminals who need to be deported. Legislatures should cut off ALL benefits to illegals and their anchors!

To excuse execution and not abortion makes the abortion issue political and not moral.

Anybody else think it’s funny that the right wing is so gung-ho over “personhood” from conception but so hateful toward illegal immigrants and anyone else they deem unworthy? Gays, liberals, etc. They have personhood too, correct? I mean, that’s the theory – personhood from the moment of conception, because ALL human life is sacred.

Ohhhh – I get it, you all think only the good white folks’ lives are sacred….

Second verse, same as the first.

When people stand up to injustice, a few will fall. Peace was pushed out by big money. The people in Arizona still support the laws, and America still wants out immigration laws enforced.

According to US law, a person who commits a felony cannot be a guest worker (visa) or resident (green card). In order to work here illegally multiple felonies were committed.

With our servicemen coming home, you explain to them how illegal alien guest workers took their jobs in the non agriculture fields.
