Redefining dumb: Fulton lawmaker offers banking suggestions to school board

Every now and then, the word “dumb” needs to be updated. Today, we must add a photograph of state Rep. Joe Heckstall, D-East Point, next to the dictionary entry.

Let us suppose that Republicans have put Fulton County on notice. Through House and Senate maps passed by the GOP-controlled Legislature last week, let’s just pretend that the GOP plans to take control of Fulton County’s local legislation. Maybe even state laws that determine what the school board is, and does.

What is the worst response to such a provocative play? Why, you write – on General Assembly stationery – a semi-threatening Aug. 24 letter to Catherine Maddox, a Fulton County school board member, after meeting Robert Avossa, the new school superintendent:

The issues and concerns I have voiced continuously, have yet to be properly addressed.

Superintendent Avossa mentioned two key words and phrases in his remarks. The phrases were the diversity of our school system and the economic impact that Fulton County Schools have on our region.

I feel confident that Mr. Avossa will:

1. Deposit money in banks in Fulton County owned by African Americans.

2. Closely monitor to ensure that vending and contracts reflect the presence of African-Americans in the process.

Millions of dollars have been spent. Please advise me on the amount of money that has been spent with African American vendors and contractors in the past three years.

And then you confess that you indeed own stock in one of the two banks you insist need the school board’s deposits. Lori Geary at Channel 2 Action News broke the story Wednesday evening:

Click here for a copy of a letter
from state Rep. Chuck Martin, R-Alpharetta, to Avossa, strongly suggesting that Heckstall’s letter be ignored.

The old joke that stated, “Those that can, do, and those that can’t, teach.” was mis-stated. It should be “those that can’t, vote for dumb politicians.”

Joe Heckstall’s letter to Supt. Avossa just continues to illustrate the Afro-centric and prejudicial attitude of the present Democrat party. Since the Republicans are referred to as the GOP, I propose a new designation for the Democrats, the TOP (tired old party). It’s extremely appropriate.

Jesse Jackson-Al Sharpton school of politics? Based on Heckstall’s memo, that’s elementary school. If he had gone to the Karl Rove-Ed Gillespie College of Fine Politics or Dick Armey Freedow Works Koch University, it would have been even more in your face, and folks would have loved it.

And this is the second with more to come. Evergreen was last week

Solyndra was touted by the Obama administration as a prime example of how green technology could deliver jobs. The President visited the facility in May of last year and said “it is just a testament to American ingenuity and dynamism and the fact that we continue to have the best universities in the world, the best technology in the world, and most importantly the best workers in the world. And you guys all represent that. ”

The federal government offered $535 million in low cost loan guarantees from the Department of Energy. NBC Bay Area has contacted the White House asking for a statement.

———————-

Solyndra, a major manufacturer of solar technology in Fremont, has shut its doors, according to employees at the campus.

“I was told by a security guard to get my [stuff] and leave,” one employee said. The company employs a little more than 1,000 employees worldwide, according to its website.

Sometimes elected officials prove they may not be the best person for the job.
Like Heckstall, Graves, Rogers and Deal.
Sometimes, people defend the questionable activities without regard to the substance.
I really don’t see that happening in this case.

Of course, those who see Obama as the Great Satan has picked up, from this, more rotten cabbage to throw at him. However, there is an MRI for idiocy but no medicine. Fact is that black people continues to crawl to and beg white people for their success and survival. It continues to be sickening.

If you and your so called community are educating your children appropriately, graduating from college, building industries, treating each other fairly, stop killing each other, and participating in the democracy you can build your own country under the Constitution- let alone a little idiot bank trying
to shake down a school board president for deposits.

Heckstall is a consummate race baiter. I am delighted that Avossa decided to intercept the letter and come to the superintendent’s defense.

Had a letter like that been written by a white man Negros would come out with their pitch forks and guns hollering racism, but the same intelligence that Joe Heckstall used to write this letter is the same intelligence that says that white people has been racists to us for years so it is time for us to be racist against them. Two wrongs make a right- these idiots reason.

The problem is that these buffoon representatives can’t see that white people hold the handle and black people hold the blade. You don’t get to touch the handle through threats, cheats, and ass showing out your clothes. You get smart, something darkies seem fully unable to do.

White folks must be laughing their collecting trunks off. You know you have them on the run when they are desperate, something Heckstall proves quite scintillatingly.

It is the same mentality it takes to steal Best Buys flat screen TV by going around to the loading dock with bogus receipts- bald face and devious at the same time.
