Herman Cain: Barack Obama is no patriot

More evidence that we have crossed a kind of Rubicon when it comes to political discourse. From Cameron Joseph with the National Journal:

Throughout a Monday interview with Hotline On Call, Cain bashed Obama and his policies. When asked about Obama as a man, he complimented his family life. But when asked whether the president was a patriot, Cain hesitated. After asking for a definition (a man who is working to do what he sees as right for his country), he simply said “no.”

Good job respecting the office of the presidency. Remember, only 25% of GA Republican Voters thought the guy was qualified to be Senator.

It seems to me that truthfully answering a loaded question with a simple yes or no is not exactly crossing the Rubicon “when it comes to political discourse”.

I’m sure Mr. Cain respects the office. He’s like me, he just can’t respect that man in the office. I agree 100%, you can’t be a communist and still be a patriot. Nor can you leave our allies to twist in the wind and be a patriot.

That seems to say more about Cain and his followers than anyone else…….you can disagree with his policies, why do they have to question his patriotism. Sad

Fox interviewer: Well Mr. Cain, what are your thoughts on the “right of return”?

Herman Cain: Ah, er, right of return? Oh yeah, when I headed up Godfather’s pizza, I made sure people had the right to return any pizza that wasn’t delivered in 30 mins. or less.

Is Obama doing what he thinks is right for the country? President Obama is not stupid, but it IS stupid to ignore our tremendous debt and not substantially reduce federal spending. Has President Obama addressed entitlements in a realistic way? No. Has he continued to “whistle past the graveyard” regarding our massive debt level? Yes. I’m sorry, but ignoring problems or offering proposals that do not address real problems is NOT being a patriot. Mr. Cain was correct; the President is no patriot.

Cain parrots what he thinks the Fox News crowd wants to hear. He doesn’t actually understand it, he just parrots it, which is why he can’t explain it. I’m not an Obama fan, he’s been a disappointment in many ways. But, he is not a socialist, he is not a communist, he is not a fascist, he is not a muslim. Every time one of you tosses out one of those labels so indiscriminately you’re simply making yourself look as a fool. But, that’s Georgia, the home of Fools.

Anybody but Obama in 2012. Obama isn’t a patriot he’s more like a homegrown muslim brotherhood terrorist type. Just this week Obama showed his real colors by siding with the muslim terrorist over Israel. JEWS for the GOP. Vote aganist Obama and the democrats in 2012 to show support for America and it’s best Friend Israel.

Let’s get real. Stop the sacrosanct. Barrack Obama is an Anti-Colonialist, Anti-Capitalist Marxist trying to fulfill the dreams of his Anti-Colonialist father. If he’s a patriot then we’re all doomed. What a terrible man Mr. Cain must be for answering a question with truth rather than phony PC political speak!!

And Herman is right as usual. You can’t blame Hussein Obama because he was born and indoctrinated with a blend of Muslim/Marxist ideology. That’s a tough nut to crack. With plenty of work, someone like Hussein Obama can see the error of his ways, but there is no evidence that Lil Hussein ever abandoned this anti-American philosophy.

1. Why did Hussein Obama just sit there in the pews of that church and listen to that racist for like 25 years?

2. Why did Hussein Obama not say a word when a terrorist was in his house drinking wine and speaking out against this great nation?

3. Why can’t Hussein Obama talk about his supposed devoted to Christianity? He can’t because he’s a practicing Muslim who doesn’t stand up to his extreme brothers and he doesn’t get along very well with those who produce oil for us like in the House of Saud. All of the Bushes did well with the House of Saud, but not Hussein Obama.

4. Why does Hussein Obama hate the Hebrews so much? What he did last week was anti-Semitic just like his hero, Jimmah Carter.

Hussein Obama needs to be correctly removed from office and hopefully Speaker Boehner can finish up “his” term. Then in January 2013, Herman Cain will be rightfully in the White House.

Amen,
Bill

Let’s get realer (if that’s a word). Herman Cain should be ashamed of himself, undeniably he has the right to pursue his dream, but he should at least prepare himself for the task. Before one dons an expensive suit and designer glasses, maybe he should put on the sword and shield of knowledge. I’m not anywhere as wealthy as Mr. Cain, but there are some things that I categorically won’t do for false fame or money, and preening around for a bunch of vile, conniving people “aint” one of them. Cain’s no patriot, he probably doesn’t really know what the word means.

So any answer other than yes means Cain is not qualified to be President according to you elite liberals. Cain does not believe Obama is working to do what is right for this country. He asked for the definition, and by that definition, Obama is not a patriot. Obama is spending us into oblivion, getting us into unauthorized wars (which he denounced Bush for doing, even though Bush did get Congressional approval), favors a terrorist organization (Hamas) over a staunch ally (Israel), and spends more time on the golf course and on vacation than he does working. That is not a patriot.

My former boss immigrated from Cuba in 1971. During the last campaign, he and his wife were taken aback by many of Obama’s speeches and comments..shared sacrifice..spread the wealth around, etc…which they said were reminiscent of Castro in Cuba. Many questioned Bush’s patriotism..and you can’t question Obama’s? Is he not capable of handling it? Does he need some sort of special protection? Isn’t THAT saying, by those who support him, that he’s not quite up to the office, a fact they accuse the right of saying? That he’s not fit for office? Wake up people, especially on the left..don’t look at what he says..look at his results..appalling deficit..look at the people who’ve come through the White House, including Bill Ayers, a U.S.-born terrorist..look at him defying the War Powers Act with Libya..look at all the advisers he’s put in place, usurping the power of the people…WAKE UP! Don’t look at what he says..he’s a great speaker…LOOK AT WHAT HE DOES!

hl, apparently you haven’t listened to past presidents..they have never said what Obama has said about Israel. Hypothetical: a bully punches you in the face and says that if you won’t give him something which is rightfully yours, he’ll continue to do so. Do you give in, or do you defend yourself? You decide to give the bully what he wants. What happens? The bully senses weakness and continues to press until you stand up to him. This is what is being suggested to Israel, and it’s sheer lunacy, by this President, AND past presidents. This president has advocated pre-1967 borders, which no other president has advocated.

DannyX, I’m no fan of those things at all…I’m more on the Libertarian side…it’s appalling what BOTH parties have done..this President has done it on steroids, as far as the deficit goes, and with healthcare. My suggestion is terms limits for all these people. And Obama has not done what he’s promised, or kept his word. He’s been caught in major lies…the gov’t won’t own a car company – hello, GM? Laws were broken in divvying up GM, including stealing the company from bondholders who lent the company money, and giving a large portion of it to the UAW, who contributes to which party? Hmm…Government owned car company also owned by union..sounds like the government taking the people’s money and doing with it what they wish…very, very bad decision.

DannyX

“Laws were broken in divvying up GM, including stealing the company from bondholders”

Do you know the difference between secured and unsecured debt? Every single person who had secured debt got paid back with stock that is worth more now than it was. Every person with unsecured debt was given a chance at the same deal but opted for pennies on the dollar, they gambled and lost.

(Herman Cain supported the bank bailouts.)

Sean Hannity is lying to you. The pre-1967 Israel-Palestine borders, with mutually agreed upon modifications, have been the basis for the outline of a future Palestinian state. And again, I’m not a big fan of what Republicans have done at all…I’m more Libertarian..at the same time, can you acknowledge what the current President has done that is quite wrong? I used to listen to talk radio a good bit, BUT, I just can’t believe it’s all one party’s fault..they’re all at fault. Can you acknowledge what Obama has done that is really hurting this country? I certainly can with the Republican deficits..Obama’s are MUCH, MUCH worse..can you acknowledge this, or is this a partisan discussion?

Dennis

May 23rd, 2011

DannyX, I may be incorrect as far as the bondholders..however, giving the company to the UAW? That is stealing. Lying to the American people about the gov’t not owning a car company? That is a lie. Real Athens, that may or may not be the case; but no President has ever come out and said it. And in reality, it’s never going to happen, anymore than the U.S. returning to it’s pre-1845 border with Mexico..and I call all of the past Presidents to account for the Israel issue…it’s just not going to happen,.
