Michele Bachmann trumps The Donald, declares birther dispute ‘settled’
On ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachman, tea partyist and possible GOP presidential rival to Donald Trump, was shown a certified copy of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate. She declared the matter “settled:”
The transcript at the 4:10″ mark:
George Stephanopoulos: Well, I have the president’s certificate right here. It’s certified, it’s got a certification number. It’s got the registrar of the state signed. It’s got a seal on it. And it says “this copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.”
Bachmann: Well, then that should settle it.
Stephanopoulos: So it’s over?
Bachmann: That’s what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think– again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldn’t, either. Introduce that, we’re done. Move on.

Michelle Bachman needs to do some RESEARCH before continuing to embarrass herself before the entire World by her short-sighted erroneous evaluation of a so-called “CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH” which is nothing more than an “ANNOUNCEMENT OF A BIRTH” it iis not a VALID “BIRTH CERTIFICATE” no matter h ow many ‘embossed’ “seals” are impressed thereupon!

Well, I guess that settles it. Since George S, who used to work for Bill Clinton, and is totally unbiased would certainly be convinced that a certificate of live birth is just as good as a valid birth certificate which contains the doctor’s name and the hospital where the birth took place. Just because Michelle fell for this scam doesn’t settle anything. Stephanopolis is in the tank for the DNC so he’s just spewing out their talking points. What about other info on “the one”? College transcripts missing; was he a foreign student at Columbia U? How did he go to Pakistan in 1981 when US citizens were barred from going? His father was a British citizen. If this were GW Bush, the MSM would be all over the mysteries of his hidden past but when BO became president, investigative journalism died, except when it involves Republicans. I don’t trust them to tell the American people what we need to know of BO. And he has a CT social security number though he never lived there. Someone has a whole lot of explaining to do.

To a dispassionate, critical, rational person there is not enough evidence to decide either way, and a birth certificate is only part of the legal issue, because laws about conveying citizensip were different in 1961. This is not a Republican issue, at all.That’s a myth. The first lawsuit was filed by a respected
Democrat, a former AG of PA. It was pushed by PUMAS.
Bachmanm is not my kind of constitutionalist. The constitution limits the presidency to natural born citizens. If it did not, we would be ruled by space aliens. LOL She also seeks more Republican power instead of challenging the unconstitutional limit of the House’s power of the purse called mandatory spending.
I will not vote for anyone wh just takes someone’s word for someting big. We need decision makers who ruthlesly pursue the truth as in facts.

Forget the stupid birth certificate issue, how the heck can she sit there and say that Obama was behind the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts?! He was forced into that by the GOP. Obama wanted the tax cuts for the wealthy to expire. At first, he wanted the line to be at $250k of income, then he tried to compromise and set it at those making $1m and over, but now she’s saying he’s behind the extension?! How could George let that slide?!

For the record: Obama hasn’t introduced anything. He posted a “Certification of Live Birth” — not a birth certificate — document up on the internet as a jpg image for a few days and allowed two Factcheck Annenberg reporters to examine what his campaign operatives said was the same document posted on the internet for all of 15 minutes. Please note: Just as in the case of Donald Trump, who apparently has nothing to hide when it comes to actually “introducing ” his birth certificate, he “Introduced” both his hospital birth certification as well as his official state issued long-form birth certificate. This is important because his hospital issued birth certificate provides much needed original source information from which the official state issued birth certificate document was created, and without which any subsequently issued state document would have little probative value.
In short, Donald Trump was right: George Stephanopoulos has been co-opted by Obama.

The fact remains that for a man who espoused transparecy repeatedly during his campaign, Hussein has spent an awful lot of money hiding something.
Citizens should not listen to what he says nearly so much as they should watch what he does. Those who underestimate his intelligence and assume that he works in the best interests of America make a huge mistake. Hussein’s mission is to destroy the America we know and to replace it with a government more in line with Canada or England. Capitalism as we have known it will cease to exist if Hussein has his way. If he is successful, the greatness that the United States has known will be lost forever.

Congresswoman Bachmann – your Presidential aspirations have NOW ‘evaporated’ after you ‘caved’ to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos saying that you were ’satisfied’ that Barry Soetoro/Obama’s phony ‘Certificate of Live Birth’ is VALID – when the obviously Phony Document lists Obama’s race as ‘African’ – which is like saying Michelle Bachmann’s race at birth was ‘American’ !!!
And John K – saying Snopes is accurate when the Democrat-leaning husband & wife team who run that FARCE from their basement have already been caught ’shilling’ for Obama – quickly changing their contention that his 1/2 sister Maya Soetoro said he was born at Queens Medical Center after Obama claimed Kapiolani Medical Center – really is just the tip of the iceberg of their ‘Pro-Obama’ bias showing Snopes cannot be relied on for political matters involving Obama or Democrats !

And again about snopes; totally get how the right doesn’t like it, since they’re the ones with the dumb email forwards re: birtherism, brain surgery, secret Muslim, etc….. Rather than fight for truth, they just cry foul.

But that birth certificate has been out there since 2008 at least. Bachmann acts like this is some new bit of information so she wiggle out of the direct question in the interview. In a safer environment she’ll go right back to question that birth certificate.
