Congressional Democrats aren’t the only ones balking at the compromise reached between President Barack Obama and Senate Republicans over the Bush tax cuts.
GOP presidential presumptive Sarah Palin may be about to come out against the package as well. Below are two Twitter messages she’s passed along in the last few hours.
Both appear to endorse remarks in opposition made by U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.:

It just amazes me, all that energy.
One day you see Sarah camping with Kate + 8 on her reality show. The next day she is tweeting a 5 word message about tax cuts. I can see now why she demands an endless supply of sippy straws.

Republicans have side-stepped fiscal responsibility by wanting to extend tax cuts to top earners – banking/Wall Street bonus recipients, those with $10M corporate bonuses and others who milked TARP and stimulus money, oil and gas profiteers and speculators, people who’ve made millions from giving speeches/selling books, etc. – in other words, those who’ve gotten money from struggling consumers, government programs, and taxpayers, while using the social issues as a diversion from the country’s problems. I’ve never heard of anyone losing their job or home because of social issues, yet the Republicans keep them out front.

This whole tax cut thing is nothing but a ploy by Obama to appear to triangulate. The strategy: Do something you know the extremes will shoot down for the appearance of looking like the moderate. This way you still don’t give into the GOP demands AND you look more mainstream in the process. While the nuts pile onto Palin for HER actions, no one says anything about Obama playing with people’s incomes merely to get an image makeover. If Palin is selfish in her actions Obama becomes the extremist of selfish. And for those thinking this is the honest and improved Obama, do America a favor and unregister to vote.

GM, your comments are on point. “Go Sara, continue to pimp poor, middle class white conservatives.” That is exactly what she is doing. No one seems to care, because she can draw a crowd, right? Why doesn’t someone “repudiate” her. Sorry, the word is “refudiate” from the intellectual SP herself.

Why do we continue to give this person any media attention (from legitimate outlets)? Who cares what Sarah thinks (if she thinks at all)? Please treat her like her colleagues–the Octomom, the Duggans, and the Gosslins–of no importance in the big scheme of things. For those who hang on her every word, let them hang. Unless she spontaneously ignites, please do not use her as a lead in to any story!

The question is how did Palin get attractive?
Most Republican women go to extreme lengths to become attractive. Take Linda Schrenko for example, Georgia’s ex Republican School Superintendent.
She knew the rule. In order to get votes in Georgia she would have to go through some radical changes. She got an expensive face lift. She robbed a deaf school fund to get the lift, she now looks hot in her prison jumpsuit. She is on the short list to replace Deal, they just might do one of those “Trading Places” routines. She gets the Mansion he gets the cell. You can be a crook and still get elected here.
Another example of local Republican babes would be the Georgia Gas Light Short Skirted Lobbyist Babe. She’s hot, (also ironic.)

I am going to laugh so hard when you libs get your wish and Sarah is the next President of the United States. All of you and your (lame stream) media have been doing nothing but bashing her over and over again since she appeared on the scene. All you are going to accomplish is to turn her supporters into hard core supporters that will work tirelessly to get her elected (especially middle and right leaning white women). If you Dems can not convince them to vote for your side in 2012 you will lose the white house. This is a way that she can win the nomination and that wave of white women harden support could carry her in the general election.
I personally do not think she is qualified to be President and plan to actively campaign for other candidate but can tell you without hesitation that if she is nominated I will not hesitate to vote for her over Obama. I can also tell you that 80 +% of white males feel the same way.
Keep up libs and I will be laughing my butt off for months because if we conservatives think the whinning is funny now with Deal be elected, I can not imagine how bad these blogs and the lame stream media will become. LOL

I can also tell you that 80 +% of white males feel the same way.
Only men who value T&A over brains. Which, I guess you are right…that’s most men. Ha, ha. Too bad it’s scary, and not funny.
Anyone with a brain knows she is horribly unprepared to be Prez. You should be very scared that she might clinch the nom. One the one hand, you are at least smart enough to acknowledge she doesn’t have what it takes, but like the true party faithful, you’ll vote for her anyway just to vote against Obama. That’s become the Republican mantra. “We’ll put up crappy candidates because we know our base hates Obama so much they’d vote for ANYONE but him.” Not very smart.
Furthermore, any reasonably good hunter should now hate her too–she made a mockery of hunting on her “show.” But I’d better not criticize her, because you republicans will just say I’m a “liberal Palin hater.” I’m not a liberal and I don’t hate her. I do not want her to be President, and if she doesn’t know how to load her own weapon and fire it, she shouldn’t be hunting.

Here’s the thing, the POTUS doesn’t have the luxury of agreeing or disagreeing (which seems to be what Sarah does). The POTUS has to make things happen… not just respond to what others say or do. She had a chance to make something happen as her state’s highest elected official, but what did she do? She QUIT. And why did she quit? To make millions and star on a reality show? And this brings her respect, adoration and a possible presidential nomination? YIKES!

When given a choice between serving her state (after gaining the support of her fellow Alaskan citizens) or making money for herself as a celebrity, Sarah Palin went for the money grab in lieu of serving her state. Instead of leading the citizens of Alaska, she decided to cash out and become a political diva. And we’re supposed to respect her and laud her values? She’s a first-rate QUITTER who sold out her voters for cash.

Governor Palin, as usual, is right on target and all republicans better beware if they choose to work with this president.
I agree with Senator Mitch that the number one most important thing is to defeat this president. Republicans must defeat the nuclear defense treaty and must not accept any compromise relating to taxes and spending or risk giving this president two issues that will be preceived as victories.
Hang touch, refuse to cooperate or compromise, and vote no, no, no to any and all things that may benefit this president. Or…….we Tea Party voters will settle more scores in two years.

Boy, people on this blog really dislike Sarah Palin alot, I guess the Community Organizer and former senator(WHO QUIT HIS JOB,OUCH) Obama has completely won them over. Lets see she would not do the following for example (1) Allow the Mexican president to stand before Congress and badmouth one of our states,(2) secure the border where the illegal immigrants flood the states,(3) apologize to every foreign country(mostly Muslim and dictatorships) you can think of in the world,(4) has created a 10% unemployment rate by refusing to take federal action against employers and the illegal invasion. Oh, I forgot these illegals are prospective Democratic voters later on if the administration has its way. Obama is well spoken, educated and African American, which makes him the party star. He gets a pass on alot of things because he is African American but no one will admit to it. Sarah Palin has common sense, has a son who volunteered for the military and is basically just one of the regular folks, not some elistist(misspelled) Harvard law grad. I was not initially going to support her but now she gets this INDEPENDENT vote if she is nominated!!!! Wonder if Barack wants his daughters to serve this country in some capacity when they are old enough, just askin????

If you read my post carefully enough, I said I would vote for another candidate in the primary but would definitely vote for her over Obama. I think she is every bit as qualified as he was when he ran and will be as much qualified as he is by the time his first term ends.
I do not think you have any room to talk about qualification because I am sure you voted for Obama and he had less qualifications than Palin has.

Just look at the conditions in Demint’s South Carolina. The low tax, low wage, minimal govt spending formula means poverty, unemployment and violent crime. For more info: http://jimdemints-southcarolina.blogspot.com
